That was sick. Also loved watching the Avs fight back and beat the Devils

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

:lol at Dilbury thinking Roy pulling the goalie early is some novel thing. Obvious the guy hasn't watched a lot of Avs hockey this year.

The Avs have very quietly put together 9 wins in their past 11 games, with Varly in the top 3 in wins and MacKinnon vaulting up in the Calder race.

I still love the way the Devils play in their own end. Almost impossible to even set foot in the slot. Nice to see the Avs persevere though.

Been so long since it's been used, it's falling into disrepair.

Good one! Except it's on the visiting end. Problem is it's been used too much!

Got back on the ice tonight for the first time in 3 weeks. God hockey is an amazing sport. No goals, lost 6-4. At the bar now recovering.

Kings looked better but still need a lot of work. Hope the break is to their benefit. Another tough game Thursday.

Wings 2-0-1 in their last 3. woo! lol A joint shutout for Monster and Howard. Worried about Gus. Left cause of dizziness. Hope it's not too serious.

Tonight I am a Canucks fan, although I don't see the Wings catching Boston, a Jets fan to keep the Canes back, a Florida fan, a Blues fan and a Wild fan. Those teams winning in regulation will help the Wings.

Don't you think the wings need a year off from the playoffs Tim?

HA! Especially not this year. First year to not have to stay up for 10:30 starts and they miss the playoffs? That would be my luck...

Wings fan complaining about bad luck :lol

the only reason I have sympathy for you is because you're a Lions fan.

Lack made two great saves on Helm last night too. A goalie night last night it appears.

I would love for the jackets to pull another trade with the rangers to get callahan. rangers would never do it now that they are in the same division but the jackets have 7.5mill falling off next year from gaborik he would be a great fit in their system.

No, but I bet ya get gets it from someone. Or at least close to it. Clarkson got almost 37mil over 7 years. I bet Cally gets at least that on the open market. Florida will probably do it.

Horton has been an absolute monster for the jackets.

Horton - Johansen - Jenner line has been a machine, really fun to watch

I picked up Johansen a while ago for the fantasy league. He's helping nicely.
