You can’t give up a 2 on 1 moments after tying it, you just can’t. Then you can’t play a 2 on 1 any worse than Miller did. Just all around awfulness from the Rangers who were only in the game to that point thanks to Igor.

Igor is a stud in the making at 26, but with Vasy at 27 you have to imagine “what if” the rangers had a couple extra pieces. Maybe next year.

I’ll stand by Hank stuck around a bit too long, but alas that’s neither here nor there here. Igor almost stole this game. However, that’s the difference with Hank, he stole games.

Rangers weren't really getting him to move east/west. All shots were mostly straight on and with a Tampa player in the way. Zibby couldn't even get his shots from the area of the ice he was renting from Ovi.

As has been the case with the Rangers and Panthers, everyone has a plan on offense until they see Vasy between the pipes. We’ll see how that dynamic plays out, especially with the long layoff Colorado has had. This will undoubtedly be the best and most talented team Tampa has faced in this current three year run.

I don’t see this series ending in fewer than 6 games, but my hunch is a 7 game win for Colorado.
