Pens looked way too passive last night. Hell even the crowd all seemed too complacent after the game 7 win. Not worried at all.

Yea, they controled much of the game, but were making bad plays, trying to get it to guys not opened, making one too many passes. Hit a lot of cross bars. Hopefully this isnt like what happened last round to the caps.

Friday I was ready to blame the 6pm local start but on a Sunday?

Maybe there won't be a game 5 back there the way this is going. Go Preds.

What an awful goal Gibson gave up.

Griffins in the Western Conference Finals for the 3rd time in 5 years......sigh. Gotta get excited about something.

So I guess really noone cares about these conference finals :lol

Pens need to respond strongly tonight.. and I expect them to do so.

I got glued to the TV on Friday while I was at a Wedding for the Preds/Ducks game 1. I honestly didn't even know when the other games were though. So I guess I don't really care that much. If they are on I will watch, but I doubt I will go looking for them. They are kind of 2 really boring match ups.

Ducks v. Sens would have the same results as ten years ago. I would not watch a second of that shit.

Pens v. Preds would probably result in highest amount of me watching.

I've watched at least a bit of all three games so far, just not talking about it as much here. :thumbsup

And yeah, the Pens/Sens series isn't nearly as exciting to me as Ducks/Preds. We'll see if that changes.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Oh yeah even as a pens fan I know that series is more entertaining. I kind of think Preds take both at home but I hope im wrong. I wanna see it go 7.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Yeah. I'm watching if there's nothing on or if I catch it after the Mrs. goes to bed. But neither series is appointment TV for me. I just don't have any interest in the Sens and have seen enough of the Pens lately. And the west is definitely more intriguing but not to the point where I'm "in in" for the long haul. Will absolutely watch all of a game 7 in either series if that were to happen.

Re: The NHL Thread (where the Presidents Trophy matters!)

Luckily my wife switched allegiances from the Pens to the Preds after Mike Underwood got traded there, so she's been all-in these playoffs. Even insisted that we stay home yesterday (on Mother's Day!) so we could watch the game. I got myself a gooder.

And let me get ahead of the multiple wives jokes and just say it's my first wife. Wife A.

I will fully admit that I have watched 0 minutes of hockey since goal 2 of game 7

Very unlikely I will watch any until October

Nice! Guess there's a reason she's Wife A and not B, C, D, E or F

I've just watched the Ducks/Preds series. Watched highlights of Pens/Sens.

Watched last nights game at the Brown's, that was interesting.
