Caps are in a bind right now with their top two goalies out and old man Craig Anderson in net, but he's holding his own. As they say in Final Destination 3, fuck the Bruins!

I thought they played decent. Was concerned about the recent injuries, Ovi skated hard and was physical, Carlson looked solid at both ends. Obviously we are screwed if one of the young netminders don’t get healthy quick...but really happy with the game 1 win.

It’s gonna have to be Samsonov coming back from the Covid list, because Vanacek looked like he completely fucked his groin on that split.

It didn't look good! Couldn't even attempt to give it a go, just standing up straight on skates looked difficult.

He was off the Covid list as of yesterday, but didn’t dress. I guess it’s just a matter of getting him back into shape a bit after being out for two weeks. Lord only knows when Kuzy will be back from the Covid list. I can’t believe these guys are still getting Covid.
