Oh that is interesting. Either way, I feel like they were on the right path and Davidson has only been there for like a year. The Owners need to realize they were always a long shot to make the playoffs in that division.

I feel like this is just going to rattle the organization and wind up being a huge set back. I don't have it in me to stand by this team much longer.

With a guy like Wilson, context and history is even more important. I would argue his actions against Buch were worse; slammed his head face first into the ice and then punched him in the back of the head.

TJ Oshie’s father passed away. For the uninitiated, his dad had early onset Alzheimer’s. There’s a great clip of them celebrating together after they won the Cup. Heartbreaking. :(

I think I’m usually in the minority with this but fighting and “the code” and all that stuff is so fucking stupid. Same league that has some of the most skilled players in history doing incredible things also has this goon-fest. Such a dumb league. Call the rules, figure out some consistent player safety rulings, and protect and highlight the superstars like every other sports league in the planet.
