He's a great player (antics aside) who doesn't look out of place on a top line, but he's not Top 5 in the league.

And best line is Rantanen/MacKinnon/Landeskog, so there. :p

I’ll admit the line is very hot right now. I was mostly laughing at the top 5 forward thing. I’m sorry, but any player who conducts himself in the manner in which he does loses all credibility instantly. He’s definitely the most skilled version of this player we’ve ever seen. But at the core of what Marchand is all about is very Matt Cooke-esque. He doesn’t play like a pest or an agitator. He takes cheap shots and intentionally tries to injure opponents with regularity. So yeah, all credibility lost.

I moved to Canada in '93 and really couldn't have cared less about hockey, basketball, baseball or football at the time, I was all about living and breathing music.

In summer '95 I moved into an apartment in Toronto with a guy from Sarnia, ON, who had lived and breathed (and played) hockey his whole life...within about 6 weeks I had become a Leafs fan and knew everything about the game.

You just need to live with a guy from Sarnia for a while. :lol

Wow. That call on Wilson was soooo bad. Clean hit.

At least refs made it up with a close hooking call right off the draw

I’m all for cleaning up the game and player safety, but Wilson’s hit was clean
