You're right, it's not funny. But let's be honest, unless something drastic happens, he's gonna get off pretty easy.

I say shame him for what's it worth. Maybe it forces him to re-evaluate his life decisions.

That's all last night was, an awesome display of shaming.

Love what I'm seeing out of the Flyers defense, and it's been years since I've been able to say that. Offense needs some work but Hexy seems to be moving this team in the right direction.

I know it's been four games but I'm happy with how they have played minus the 7-1 drubbing to Florida.

It's interesting that there is half a dozen talented prospect in juniors and Lehigh still.

Franzen placed on short term IR with "head issues." It's time to hang em up buddy, well at least unofficially so they can get the cap relief. It sucks but health for the rest of his life is important.

That Kane chant is funny, though I'm not sure I am supposed to find that funny. Obviously, the case isn't funny in 1 bit.

The chant is funny. So great. The circumstances are not.

Well I guess it was dumb to expect otherwise but the oilers are still miserable. Says a lot when an RNH back-check is one of the game highlights.

I would have thought with a good coach and another year under their belt they would have been a little better, and there still is time. Guess McDavid wasn't the cure all.

There is not 1 team in the Metro with a positive goal differential.

Price has helped me in fantasy to far going 4-0 but he needs to lose tomorrow. He can play well...just needs to lose.

Terrific effort from the Caps last night. Total 180 from Tuesday night.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that Holtby's season wasn't a fluke last year and the guy is the real deal. He's been great in all 3 games so far, even the blowout loss to the Sharks.

Dropped McDavid for Domi if anyone wants to pick him up.

I'm so fucking happy the Cubs keep winning, because now Hawks ticket prices are SUPER reasonable for the first time in like 5 years.

Thank you, Sarah. I'll never have to worry about losing McDavid for the next twenty years.

:lol :lol :lol

For the keepers next season, do we have to pick one center, one RW, one LW, and so forth?

Or is a set number of forwards, D-men, and goalies?

dmbetc 10-16-2015 01:57 PM

Re: The NHL Thread

5 Keepers: Max of 2 forwards, 2 d-men, 1 goalie

How bad is your current team where you know you'll be hanging on to guys who haven't done anything in the league yet?

It's not bad at all.

I have Tavares, Perry, Voracek, and Saad.

Drafted Eichel.

Just picked up Duclair, Barkov, and Hemsky.

Re: The NHL Thread

Looks like Roy's flip out worked. When the Avs are trying, they are as dynamic and exciting as any team in the league.

Landeskog is playing like a superstar right now. He's being used in every situation and doesn't ever look out of place. Especially with MacKinnon, who he's paired with on 4 on 4 and the PK. When your best players can also play the PK, that's a good thing.

Also, For those interested, Skille has been everything the Avs have hoped for and more. Not a star, but the perfect high energy, hard skating, bottom 6 guy. And he's also putting points up. Astute signing by the Avs.

Re: The NHL Thread

Oh and I love Zadorov's potential and early efforts. If he keeps this upward momentum, the Avs will have new generation Rob Blake. Even in the Boston game, he was the least sucky of the Avs defense.

Thanks, ROR!

Wings need to be better tonight if they don't want to lose two in a row. Helm and DeKeyser back tonight so that could help.

Really surprises me that 6-0 is a record start for Montreal. For how old the franchise is/how many Cups they've won.

Also scares me.
