Nashville or one of the Florida teams are probably the closest to you. Nashville has a premier goalie and one of the best defensmen in the game and thats about it. Tampa has a good goalie and the best scorer in the game. Florida sucks.

Auburn person I would go with Dallas. Has some interesting young talent. In the better conference. And yea.

Or just say fuck it and be a panthers fan and really do it. You could be their number one fan.

They still have a team right?

Fuck Florida teams. Not even close to a fan of them in any other sport so not going to associate with them in hockey as long as I'm choosing. Preds are on the table for sure. Unfortunately I've only seen this years playoff teams so I've never seen the preds at all.

Do you know if you get any games on your local sports channels or will you only be able to catch nationally televised games? If you can only catch national games than I would try to pick a more popular team so you can catch them more in the regular season.

Yeah I'm not sure exactly. I'm sure if i move to huntsville next year they probably get preds games. That would help. But I'm not opposed to streaming games on my computer.

Very good point. What do you like more, offense or defense?

Should just choose the hawks. Patrick Kane an American hero and the guy outside of maybe chandler parsons I would most like to swap lives with for 48 hours.

If you want American Heroes you have to go with St Louis. Oshie and Miller are the American Heroes from the past two olympics

I got a Kane jersey last week. Well I ordered it. Friend was doing a China order so I just picked a team jersey I liked and did some research on the players. I liked Kane's style so I got his number.

I do like this Dallas team gocubs. Good call

Dallas is a solid pick. I support. I like the drunk dude who used to play for the bruins.

bonzo48280 04-25-2014 09:49 PM

There isn't a player in the world I wouldn't want more than Toews to have their puck on the stick with a breakaway in OT. That dude is so fuckin clutch

bonzo48280 04-25-2014 09:57 PM

2013 Round 1 Blues vs. Kings (defending Stanley Cup champions)
Game 1: Alex Steen scored game-winning goal in OT.
Game 2: Barret Jackman scored game-winning goal.
Game 3: Blues outshot Kings by nine, got shut out.
Game 4. Blues blew 3-2 lead late in third period, lost 4-3.
Game 5: Alex Pietrangelo scored game-tying goal (his first of the playoffs, assisted by Jaden Schwartz), Blues lost 3-2 in OT.
Game 6: Blues lost 2-1, eliminated from playoffs.

2014 Round 1 Blues vs. Blackhawks (defending Stanley Cup champions)
Game 1: Steen scored game-winning goal in OT.
Game 2: Jackman scored game-winning goal.
Game 3: Blues outshot Blackhawks by nine, got shut out.
Game 4: Blues blew 3-2 lead late in third period, lost 4-3.

Not a hockey expert obvi but they've appeared to really be struggling to get the puck out from behind their net onto the other side of the ice late last period into this one. Dallas needs to get a little momentum going into next game at this point.

Still reminds me so much of Super Joe Sakic. Remember in his prime when it seemed like every shot he took went in? You already knew the outcome when he got a breakaway. A lot of Sakic in the way Toews plays.

Anaheim is just the better team. Probably the most consistent team in hockey this year. Dallas young.

I'm pretty sure there's a time machine and Sakic just became Jonathan Toews or something through some time travel inception thing.
