My first visit to WPB and the opportunity to share a DMB experience with my brother & nephew; their first ever. Fun beach feel venue and the tailgating was a blast with no rain and lots of fun. Great seat in section 1 and had a blast dancing with the lovely ladies. I liked the setlist and no concerns with a N1 heavy CT selection. The B.E. Fish > Bartender was fantastic and Buddy was awesome on that piece and overall much more present for me than the TX show: I like it. Momentum continued with a few lulls but really appreciated So Right, Again & Again, YMDT, and Typical; I just have trouble getting into Ant\'s without the violin. Encore was ok and respect the Come Tomorrow placement, but for a N1 I am excited to see what N2 will bring. And not to forget running into PJ once again and reminding me why we do this to begin with.

This was my 22nd Dave show, but my first in FIFTEEN years! (Last show was Dave & Tim at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Any way, despite the fact that he only played 3 songs from pre-1999 years, I was actually really impressed with his performance of his “new” songs (anything written after Busted Stuff or Everyday). A lot of the “new” songs were played well and had good energy and a good groove. I didn’t listen to Dave too much after Everyday, as I felt his sound became to “pop”, but I’m really glad to see/hear that he has found his groove again and is making music with more of his “original tone.” I’m excited to check out some of the post Everyday albums now and see what i’ve been missing. Overall, I’d rate this show a 3.2 out of 5 when comparing it to my other 21 Dave shows. Energy was good, but I’ve seen better. Crowd was fairly lame and did not give the band any energy boost. Set list was not great, especially in comparison to all the previous shows where fans at least got 5-7 pre-1999 songs. This may have possibly been a 5 out 5 in comparison to Dave shows of the last 10 years, but I only have the ability to compare it to the 20 shows I saw 15+ years ago. The addition of Rashawn on Trumpet is awesome! I’ve been seeing and listening to Rashawn for YEARS, since 2000 in the band Lettuce. One of the best funk bands alive on today’s music scene. So it was a very cool surprise to see he is now part of Dave’s band as well

First, I have not been back to this venue in five years and I had forgotten how great the sound is. It was a joy just to hear the band clearly and well mixed, regardless of what was being played. Second, I thought this was a very good show for a night one performance. Yes, it pales in comparison perhaps to night one at Saratoga, but that venue does seem to have privileges most of the time! I think you need to treat this as a two-show set list. I thought this was a very strong showing by the band and the new songs sound great. Let's see what happens night two. Could be loaded with a bunch of commonly played songs (e.g. Grey Street, Satellite, Crash) that so-called fans want to hear but if too many will rob the possibilities of a special night that WPB has received in past. Questions as we ponder and anticipate the hopeful excitement: will he play a full two step? Will we get a debut such as Last Stop or Halloween? Will he bring back Stand Up or Smooth Rider, etc.? Will so-called fans continue to leave their seats every three songs to get another drink and then talk non-stop during the songs they're actually present for? I think the band has really come a long way from the three Texas shows I saw and here's hoping for a great night two. If nothing else, enjoy the great sound!

Enjoyed the energy, but the setlist was the only thing keeping me from 5 stars. A little too new album heavy for me. I understand with the live stream it would be but 7 new songs is a bit much. The older songs played BEF-> Bartender, Typical, Ants and Stay were absolutely amazing! Looking forward to N2!

N1 with some repeats from Tampa. It just sounds better in West Palm. Big Eyed Fish into Bartender was a huge treat. Nothing mind-blowing but nothing too exceptional.

Performance by the band was a 5...as good as ever. The setlist was a 1. This was my 50th show and by far the worst set list I’ve ever experienced.
