Great jams on cornbread, ddtw, #41 and jimi. The band looked like they were having a great time. Really made the night enjoyable

Another Virginia Beach dud. Too bad one can't rate it zero stars. Do you Remember: Not a bad song; ok as an opener One Sweet World: OK song, about the 12th Va Beach version. Satellite: Absolutely hate this song. Please retire permanently. Samaurai Cop: An embarrassingly bad song. Glad to get it out of the way early. So Much to Say: Standard version; they all are right? Louisiana Bayou: Decent energy but another just terrible song. #41: Top 3 all time DMB song. A below average version. Seems like the jam needs to do something different. Horns are always the same. That Girl is You: BLAH She: BLAH BLAH Jimi Thing: Lots of energy but soooo burned out on this song. Corn Bread: You have got to be kidding me that this song is still being played. Joe Lawlor is great but WTF?? Digging a Ditch: Sad when this is the highlight of the show. Great song. Don't Drink the Water: Can't stand this overplayed song. Come On Come On: Wow, this is bad. What Would You Say: Average version. You and Me: Ok song, way overplayed. Watchtower: Have never cared for the DMB take on this song. Space Between: Another case of why are they playing this? Stay (Wasting time): Billies would have been nice. Come on people, these setlists are weak!! Just one or two of the following would have made this a tolerable show: You Never Know Captain Bartender Say Goodbye Seek Up Best of What's Around Lover Lay Down Pay for What You Get Recently Typical Situation Lie in Our Graves Song that Jane Likes I would like my money back please!!

no Boyd, no problem. No “varied” set list, also no problem. They sounded great! I rarely leave a review or comment but I’ll take this show over and over again. Especially if that “rare” or “unique” song is some whiny, yelling, nasally, out of key crap that some of the hardcores wax on about.

Good musicianship, fine with the song selection, but not one of the more memorable shows. It\'s always good to hear the band period! Has to be the longest I\'ve personally heard Dave sing the hour is getting \"laaaaaaate\" on the previously overplayed (now underplayed) cover of watchtower. Timmy\'s Stairway notes and Dave\'s \"ahhh ahhh\" were nice. Cheers

First show in a few years really enjoyed it. Was definitely missing Boyd, especially on the older songs.

Great energy, but played almost the same show as Bristow.

Similar to Raleigh, felt like an uneven setlist. Everytime I felt like the show would breaklose it took a step back. Still had a great time.

Very average show. Band was into it but not one "wow" moment during the entire set

A lot on the table after Raleigh and the set failed to deliver. Showflow was a bit off with some CT songs back to back and uninspired placement of overplayed tour staples. Setlist aside I still had a great time and really enjoyed the bands tightness and overall energy. Hope Charlotte delivers the goods( JTR, Pig, Raven)

Rating the show based on songs and performance. But before I do that, I just want to take a minute to recognize how terrible the venue\'s staff was at getting Warehouse pit tix holders into the venue. Needless to say it was a shit show and Warehouse members got screwed despite myself being on the rail. I thought the band a great energy, but not as much as Bristow. Do You Remember is one of my favorites off the new album, but it is not an opener. Highlights include One Sweet World, Satellite (shut up, its a great song), So Much to Say, #41, Jimi Thing, Corn Bread, Digging a Ditch, DDTW (yes overplayed but always enjoyable), Come On Come On, WWYS, AATW, Space Between, and Buddy Strong owned Stay. He made that song sound 1724817249x better without the Lovely Ladies (maybe even better than the Lovely Ladies). I didn\'t hear too much of Buddy on the keys in Bristow, so it was awesome to hear him go wild on the keys and on the vocals on Stay. See you next year guys!

Firstly, I think people need to step back, and chill out. This whole set list thing is out of control. Just because you didn't get a tour debut or a super rare song, doesn't mean the show was bad!! Was the set list super rare? No. Was it lacking "Wow" moments? Sure. But to rate a show 1 or 2 stars because you didn't get the song you wanted, or that it was just like the Bristow show you (and I) went to, is short sighted. Some of you (myself included) go to 3, 4, 5 shows a year...of course you're going to hear some of the same stuff. It's an album tour, they're playing the album. It's going to happen. People expecting the band to tailor the set differently from a show 6 weeks ago, at a venue 3+ hours away is silly. If it bothers you that much to hear repeats, don't go to 5 shows a year. DMB's set lists are WAY MORE varied than almost all other bands. Want to see the same set every night? Try following the Stones around, or U2, or Jimmy Buffett. I don't think some of you here appreciate what you get every night...now to the show. The band had a TON of energy on stage, and they were really interacting with each other and the crowd. Dave's voice sounded MUCH better than the night before on the Sirius broadcast IMO. He hit some really big notes on 41, Corn Bread, DDTW and Watchtower in particular. Corn Bread with Joe Lawlor was great. I wished he had stayed on stage and them maybe do Rhyme and Reason, but still very good. Come On Come On is geting better each time I hear it, and expect them to have that song grow even more. Overall, they sounded great, Buddy is getting better and more involved, and they seem to be getting more comfortable with out Boyd out there.

I was held out of Bristow during the hailstorm, so this is going to turn out to be my only Summer \'18 show. As it was fairly representative of the tour, I\'m fine with the set. Perhaps if I was going to several shows this season, I\'d be a bit disappointed. I was mainly looking for Come Tomorrow songs, and I got four of them that I hadn\'t previously heard. I didn\'t expect She or Come On, Come On, as they were played the previous night, very happy to hear them. DYR is growing on my at an alarming rate. I can\'t get enough of it right now. There was a time I had Watchtower fatigue, but it sounded great on Saturday night, and I was feeling it. I\'m a fan of this venue, it\'s just so much easier to enter/exit than Bristow, and tons to do in that part of Virginia. I hadn\'t been there in 6 years, but I plan on this amphitheater replacing Bristow as my \"home\" venue in future tours after. Hoping for C-Ville/Baltimore stops this winter. Need more live DMB in 2018.

By far worst of 30+ shows I’ve seen. Dreadful setlist, worst of this tour by far. Band seemed tired, ho hum 1/2 ass. Only DMB show I’ve ever attended where I feel I didn’t get my $ worth. Really miss violin; feel this is integral to the DMB sound. I like Buddy Strong, great addition to the band. Liked the new songs, however this show overall was 1 big middle finger to the long time fans.

I\'d like to start by saying that it wasn\'t a bad show. Got a handful of songs that I really enjoy and I\'m definitely aware that it\'s an album tour so hearing a few of the same songs between here and Bristow makes sense. That said, this show really bummed me out. Coming off of great shows at SPAC, Deer Creek, etc, we see a huge return to safety in terms of set selection. 8 or 9 songs played at VA beach were also played at the truncated set in Bristow. I know it\'s an album tour so I\'m not going to absolutely blow up at hearing That Girl is You, She, Do You Remember, and Samurai Cop. But when you add in DDTW, 41, etc it just shows that they\'re not digging deep enough into the catalog and/or not taking into account the fans likely to travel to both Bristow and VA beach. Giving it a 3 due to the energy of the band and they objectively sounded good. But when you can sit in the crowd and correctly call the first 5 or 6 songs of the set to your friend next to you that\'s indicative that creativity is lacking.
