Weak set list. Something missing (beyond BT)

My wife and I flew into Philly Friday afternoon, and met our good friends who drove up from Maryland-D.C. area. Checked out Love Park, Federal Donuts and Insomnia cookies. Then dropped-off my friend\'s wife and their daughter at our Airbnb, and the 3 of us took the train to Camden. Great aisle seats in 203, and a great set-list with guests! Got Recently, which is special for me and my wife. :) She wasn\'t feeling good that night, but she was a trooper and still came along. Also heard Come On Come On for the 1st time ever and that was cool...probably my 2nd favorite song on the new album.

Bad setlist. Fun show in the pit with Kishan. Debut of ‘Come On Come On’. Band was supposed to play ‘Virginia in the Rain’ (would’ve been tour debut, first time played since ‘Come Tomorrow’ was released) and ‘What You Are’.

Sound was poor where I was so tried to not let that bias my review, but I thought it was a decent show. Loved Mark Whitfield, especially soloing on Satellite which was a rare treat. First time hearing the new songs live and am really digging them!

The band played with tremendous energy and the set list was pretty strong. Although they tried their best to fill up Boyd's parts it was noticeable to me on some songs. Great show overall though!

Personally, I really enjoyed the show. Yes, the absence of Boyd was noticeable and for the most part it seemed the usual \\\\\\\"looseness\\\\\\\" of the performance was also missing. Perhaps in part to Boyd\\\\\\\'s absence, perhaps in part to the rest of the band compensating for that absence. Regardless, the band played a great set, Dave was full of energy, and the addition of Buddy Strong and the guest musicians were excellent. Loved the set-list and was thrilled to see the band once again.

Solid night 1. Band sounded great from section 104 and Dave was in a good mood. Really like That Girl as an opener, all 3 (Girl, Cop, Come On) “new” album songs early in the set were awesome, happy to see the debut of Come On. Fun night, perfect weather, not sure what to expect tonight with the livestream but looking forward to it.

Show was just ok. Mark Whitfield\'s solo on Jimi Thing was the highlight for me. A lot of songs I\'ve seen a lot of times. Awkward when a lot of people yelled \"take it home, Boyd!\" during Billies and a little weird without him, but the band did a pretty good job covering. Tough to hear Buddy in the mix.

Really enjoyed the show overall. Cool to get a debut of Come On Come On. You Might Die Trying was a highlight, as was Gravedigger. REALLY missed Boyd on WH and Billies. They did what they could, but it just wasn’t the same. 5-stars for the show...minus one for the missing element.

Kinda getting repetitive with the songs picked every night. Sure, the song debut of Come On Come On was nice, but these sets with You and Me and Bayou (among other songs in heavy rotation) are starting to grow old.

Bad show. Wasn't feeling the music or the crowd. Alex Frankel and Kathy Klein got into a massive fight with Alex running off

Enjoyed the set a lot. Good flow and band was clearly up for it. A little different without Boyd obviously but I don’t miss his sulking petulance on stage.

Bayou is back :/ Really miss hearing the strings halfway through WH, but especially during Song that Jane Likes and Billies. Performance was really strong tho.

Fun show, short encore. Missing Boyd on Tripping Billies. I enjoyed the riffing on jimi thing between Butch and Tim.

Enjoyed it since I haven't seen he band in two years, but a little different without Boyd. I like the fill ins to cover for his solos but there was a different energy. not a bad energy but definitely different.

My first show of the new tour. Very high energy and upbeat show. Dave was in a good mood (he said so himself!) I really enjoyed it. I didn't miss Boyd for about 80% of the show, but then again on WWYS, WH, and Billies the strings were sorely missed. Then again, we had new elements like the call and response between Tim and Buddy on Jimi and the Come On debut. Awesome Jimi by the way. And it was cool to have Dave announce at the concert that the album hit #1.
