With much anticipation and expectation after the break and all the baggage that came with it this show was outstanding! The band was ready and highly energized as was the crowd. The setlist was well thought out and rolled along throughout with minor lulls and pauses. Opening with new release Come Tomorrow was a great fit and on the first listen was solid, Samurai Cop we know and enjoyed revisiting Do You Remember. There was really only one moment for me when I missed the violin on WWYS and it seemed Rashawn was meant to fill but his mic was way down and it was lacking a bit. What I really appreciated was that IMO Tim was turned down a bit and exploded less but complimented very nicely; reminds me of 98\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'run, I really appreciated this, love Tim but not as the headliner. Buddy was great but quieter than I had hoped, I love what they can do with keys on a setlist and hope they let him bust out more. #27 & WYA were highlights for me and again the entire set was solid, appreciated the opener of Come Tomorrow and encore. Another amazing DMB experience and a first in Texas which did not disappoint. Great to run into PJ, Joe, & Chris at Bakers and catch up after some time away. Off to Dallas and anxious to see what the back to back looks like. Be well, do good work, and keep in touch. Cheers.

Start of the new tour. No more Boyd. Introduced the new keyboard dude, Buddy Strong. I didn't mind not having Boyd there... strangely, I hate to say it, but I didn't really miss him at all. Buddy is a great addition to the group.

Great 7 song run in the middle, a little let down by the encore. Overall, great energy, the band looked refreshed after some time off

Come Tomorrow Live in Person was very good. Loved the outro to Lying in the hands of God. DYR full band was sick.

Great show without Boyd for the first time. Allot of energy! Band did a good job of covering for Boyd. Buddy Strong was great (new keyboard player)

I didn\\\'t know what to expect with no Boyd and the addition of Buddy. They exceeded expectations. And the setlist had some huge surprises in it (especially Recently and Typical, which were bad ass.) Louisiana Bayou rocked the house from the very beginning, and Buddy crushed it. One Sweet World was great, even without Boyd. Highlights for me were Recently, Typical Situation, Crush, LITHOG, and Stand Up. I\\\'m not a big fan of LITHOG or Stand Up, but they have a new life. Instead of Jeff soloing during LITHOG, Buddy solo\\\'d, and then the AB Intro in the LITHOG outdo, with a cool horns part, was amazing. Stand Up was one of my top 5 favorite song performances over the last 10 years or so. The energy was great as the closer, and then Rashawn and Buddy sang Shotgun by Junior Walker in the outro. Funky as hell. Even Tim sang backup on the \\\"stand up\\\" chorus. I can\\\'t say enough how surprised I was at this performance sans Boyd. And Buddy is my new second favorite band member. Tim was finally turned down like he should have been long ago and was more complimentary as he was back in \'98. Much better sound. My only negative takeaway is that Buddy did not play piano at all - only organs or electric keys. I feel like there are several songs that really need piano. Hopefully he will add that as the band warms up and gets into their swing.

With everything taken into consideration (break and changes in the band), this show was outstanding. Crowd and band energy were through the roof. Recently, LITHOG, and Typical Situation were awesome. I liked Do You Remember better than Come Tomorrow but it's too early to say how good (or bad) they are. Aside from tailgating limitations, this venue is great.

The energy was incredible from the band and the crowd. Dave opened with a few words about the school shooting and losing his sister and uncle to gun violence. Then it was show time - and they delivered! Buddy was great and like someone else said, I only missed Boyd during WWYS. American Baby Intro worked into Hands if God was super cool. Crush, DDTW, Rapunzel, Recently, Typical....all great. Highlight for me was What You Are! Been waiting for years to get that one again. Going to be a great summer!!

Great to see the band walk on stage. Somber start with Dave addressing the shooting. Not much energy to start the show and Dave was flat, emotionally and vocally especially for Come Tomorrow and OSW. Seven followed by Recently turned the show around and it was very good the rest of the way. Great potential with keyboards but they still need to figure some stuff out.

Came out very strong, Dave’s voice was great. Several songs I haven’t seen live previously, great crowd and band energy in spite of it being a terrible day news wise.

Band had a ton of energy. Definitely were playing like they had something to prove. I think they did it. Seemed like they were having more fun than they have in a long time. I think Buddy Strong had a lot to do with that. First he was amazing. Second, he seems to have a Carter like personality. He was smiling and responding with facial expression and gestures when the rest of the guys were playing their solos. I never saw him disconnected from what was going on like BT. Honestly I think they covered the absence of BT really well. I found myself saying Boyd who? A lot. Granted they did not play Ants, Billies, Two Step, LIOG, etc. But the songs I was not sure about like One Sweet World, Crush, and 41. I didnt really miss him like I thought I would or felt like the songs were missing a crucial element. Yes it was different, but it was not in a bad way.
