Rough night for the hardcore fans. Cold and very windy. Band was told to get off stage early so finished with SMLAM

Weakest set of the weekend. Unfortunately had to cut the set short because of very high winds, which included 2 of their best songs not being played. Shake Me was played instead to a disappointed crowd.

Very windy. They cancelled Pig & Two Step encore for album length Shake Me Like a Monkey.
It was very strange, but the lights were swaying 3~4 feet !!!

This was my 72nd show and was definitely the worst of the 72. The show started out fine, but the last half was a disaster. Once the Ladies hit the stage that show went down in ways I didn't think possible. Getting Shake Me'd because of the wind was just the last straw, but even the planned encore wouldn't have redeemed this one, they had lost me much earlier. Honestly felt like I'd been ripped off after this one.

Not great especially for this venue. Weather was bad (high winds)...setlist was really bad after Rhyme and a shortened/terrible encore.

Honestly, I didn't mind the acoustic set. It could have been better but oh well. SMTS to TM was a decent opener for the electric set and figured it was a good start to what would be a phenomenal rest of the show. Little did I know that would be the peak with many, many valleys to come. The rest of the show was bar none the worst I've seen in my 20+ shows of DMB. While the band was energetic and musically sound, the setlist and Lovely Ladies were just pathetic.

Had a good vibe going at the end of the acoustic set/beginning of the electric set. When "Be Yourself" is played but no songs from Before These Crowded Streets or Busted Stuff are played, you know it's a rough show. The "Shake Me" encore was the nail in the coffin.

Guys as great as this band is they can not do anything about the weather. If you were cold and whining thats your fault for not dressing properly. Its not like the weather was a surprise, we knew it was going to be cold. Saturday is normally a slower paced show of the weekend. I know there are people that don\'t go to all three but the majority of people do and should consider it a three act show. Also, I don't mind the intermission. A good rest for those standing on the hill, if a 30 minute intermission is the inconvenience we have to endure to allow the band to have as much fun as they obviously are and hopefully continue to tour for years to come I'm OK with that. One of my highlights was "Burning Down the House"

Some of the bad things from this show were out of the band's control like the crazy wind causing the rafters on stage to shake and cause them to cut the show short. I'm glad they did rather than risk someone getting hurt. The set list itself could have been better but every concert can't be amazing. Overall, a decent show.

One of the best saturday night shows at the gorge in years. I don't think any of the above reviewers were even there.. it was 48 degrees with a wind chill of 39... The band was freezing up there, the one song encore came 25 minutes after the shows arranged closing time of 11pm.. yet for the second night in a row they played past 11pm (friday was almost midnight). The one song encore was a favor to us and them. The crowd was dead because we were all freezing and huddled under blankets and 10 layers of clothes. One of the coldest gorge weekends in the past 10 years. Complain all you want but the album breakdown speaks for itself and if you didn't like tonight then please give up your tickets to others who would like it. One should know that friday and sunday are more up tempo and saturday is the chill night with some uptempo moments if it's not almost freezing up on stage. Remember they were on the edge of a canyon with winds over 20mph at times... Give them a break. Enjoyed the show alot and heard many good reviews on the walk back and at the campground. Keep it up DMB, since it's up to you what you play not us. Maybe in a few years they will do a fan choice show like Metallica did this summer, where fans vote what they want to hear at their city. 4 stars only cause the wind, no wind = 5 star saturday show.

Love the band, not afraid to write a rough review. This was a bad night. The first set was so slow i was ready to fall asleep. Then, like a 30 min break til the electric? Come on, we are freezing our asses off. Really a buzz kill. Roller coaster song selection and it's a tough night when my best memory is R&R with a roadie playing lead guitar (and he did kick ass, btw). Honestly, the least liked Gorge show and the weather certainly didn't help. I can say though, that the Gorge fans ROCK. the Epic glowstick fireworks in the lawn during Shake Me kept me sane.

It was going to be a fantastic show, but then the wind! Too bad for that, but probably the best version of ants marching I've ever heard two in the acoustic set! Amen Dave!

Ignore all the shallow reviews. If you actually paid attention, the wind was pretty severe that night, more so on the stage (which sits on top of a cliff by the way) than in the crowd. The light structures were all over the place and I'm not surprised they cut it short because even from up on the hill it looked like a huge safety issue. They came back the next night with a killer set all around so you shouldn't be whining about not getting enough one of the nights. You're at the Gorge for a weekend, be grateful.
Personally I was ecstatic to get Hands of God and Jimi in the same show, let alone tight enough to keep the same fat doob burning. Although Lawlor had a go, it certainly wasn't a barnburner of a set but just about perfect in terms of bridging a tasty Friday and even tastier Sunday with a supremely balanced set. They're all getting up in age and need 1 of 3 nights to have an easy going acoustic set with a MonkeyLite, Everyday full set.

A bit more up-tempo than the first night, but still somewhat slow. Seemed like every time they got a little energy going they killed it with a slow jam. Tomorrow marks the 50th show at the Gorge for the band, so one can only hope the real fire is yet to come at Gorge 2015!

First time at the Gorge, can honestly say this was the worst show I've been to of my other 31. Stage crew spent at least 30 minutes setting up these metal abstract pieces before acoustic, and another 30 minutes breaking them down. If weather was a factor, then these shouldn't have been used.
