Great energy from the band, great energy from the crowd. Tim was on fire. Highlights for me were Stolen Away, WWYS, and Warehouse. In my opinion, the acoustic set out-shown the electric set a little bit. Butterfly was a great moment. Overall a great show.

Great energy from the band opening night, surprised that they ended with Grey Street but did a hell of a job with it. Great cover of Sledgehammer!

I do not understand the negativity towards the Lovely Ladies. The criticism that they always play on the same songs isn't accurate-- they've played 6 shows this year with a total of ten unique songs (at least half of those ten are songs they didn't play on their original tour run in 2001). Also, if you look at Warren Haynes, he's played 17 unique songs out of 56 song appearance (30.3%), while the ladies, on this tour, have played 10 unique songs out of 25 song appearances (40%). But, I'm sure no one would disapprove of a Warren Haynes appearance. The criticism that they don't play on any rare songs isn't accurate-- they've played on two covers that haven't been in regular rotation for years (Sledgehammer and Long Black Veil), and they play on songs like Drunken Soldier and The Idea of You as well as a #36 riff improv jam that's never been played before this year. And the argument that they hurt the songs is ridiculous. Listen to what they did on Can't Stop of Sledgehammer from this show and you'll see they bring a really cool layer to those songs. This was an amazing show elevated by their singing.

MrUpton: Get a grip! Speak for yourself and the misery you experience at every show you attend. I am confused, is this your job and you have to be there? How rude to rip on The Lovely Ladies, as if they are purposely trying to make your life so awful. How about focusing instead on the fact that you're able to spend your summer attending DMB shows? So many of us would love to have that opportunity, but certainly not in your pessimistic soleless shoes. As for CT night 1, I loved it and the change-up of songs that incorporated the LL. Looking forward to night 2 and the great fans who are always in attendance in CT. MrUpton why don't you stay home, I'm a little concerned that you may not be able to handle any more upsets.

Solid show, nothing mind blowing but still really enjoyable. Minarets and #41 to open the electric set was awesome. Awesome to hear Lover Lay Down and a Butterfly tease. Save Me gets better every time I hear it.

This was my 100th show, and I was not disappointed! This band brings their A game almost every night, and tonight was probably an A+. I love how the band has morphed their songs over the years to keep them fresh (for them as well as for us.) I am always amazed by Carter and Fonz holding down the rhythm section with such power but also finesse. Fonz\\\'s bass was almost keyboard-like on Granny. I count myself lucky to have been able to witness 100 shows, and, although there have been songs (I Did It) that I haven\\\'t liked over the years, the overall quality and vibe of every show was at least a 4/5 or higher. Quite a feat in my book.

First time in Hartford. Went with the Darone's who used to live there. Very city like and the tailgating is not like SPAC at all. But hanging with the right people makes all the difference. Had seats together both nights. Score!

Five songs with the Lovely Ladies killed all of the positive feelings I had about the show after the Minarets opener and The Song That Jane Likes. Now, we have Stay to look forward to tomorrow with the bitches. It's depressing. Their presence has ruined this tour and the summer for thousands.

This would have been a 3 but i finally got to hear #41 after 7 shows and even back to back Hartford shows in 2013 when i was sure i would hear #41. Past that the show had a good setlist but seemed to not have as much energy as other shows. Dave wasn't talking as much between sets. Also while common with some of the 2 set shows it seemed they didn't truly jam. Sure songs went into jams but it didn't seem as inspired as other shows. Was glad to hear the Sledgehammer cover and thank got Mercy and Gaucho have been mia and they are sticking with belly belly. Although if only was meh.
