Lovely Ladies return with a #36tease>LBV and then the crowd reaction was one of my coolest experiences ever at a show. Solid set with no real dip in energy. Absolutely LoVEd the encore.

As always, the crowd in the Pit reminded me why Mansfield is my favorite East Coast venue. Great comradery, considerate and high energy.
I very much enjoyed the intimate layout of the acoustic set, with the band all together at the front of the stage, however the song selection wasn't my favorite. Two Step to start was fun, enjoyed Snow Outside and, knowing the story behind it, I was amped to see Sugar Man. Otherwise the opening set for me was mehh. There are a lot of other favorites I would have enjoyed acoustic more.
The main set was redeeming. Seek Up, Don't Drink, Proudest Monkey and Save Me were all highlights. having never seen the Lovely Ladies that was exciting. The crowd induced sing along reminded me of what it means to go to Dave shows. Encore was spot on for me! Great song choices, and my best friend FINALLY got to hear Rapunzel like 20 shows later(her favorite that she just kept missing.)

46th show, and honestly felt like my 1st. Lovely Ladies? Loved it! The entire crowd singing #36 for 5 mins before and after Long Black Veil with them? Amazing! I could've stayed all night!

Overall, this was simply an outstanding show - 32nd for me. The energy of both the band and crowd was superb. The setlist was lengthy and varied. Really, it was one great song after another with the exception of Satellite and Proudest Monkey back to back, which was a bit deflating, but aside from that no complains. Highlight for me was Seek Up, my favorite song, which I hadn't heard live since 2001. The intro was pushing SEVEN minutes. One of the best versions I have ever heard. Back in the day I was definitely sick of "The Lovely Ladies," but to be honest their appearance for a few short songs was a welcome and special surprise. LBV was a huge surprise as well. Wish I could get to as many shows now as I did when I was in college (UNH '00), but if I got to see one show this summer then this was a heckuva one to see!

Great show! Snow outside was great in the acoustic set and it was awesome to see the lovely ladies for the first time. Great crowd energy, but I think the place would have gone absolutely nuts if they played Everyday.

What a show! I had just spoken to the guy behind me in Section 3 and asked if he remembered The Lovely Ladies..we were reminiscing about people who used to tour with them (Butch Taylor and Lovely Ladies) and 2 songs later they appeared!! We were in complete disbelief…the crowd erupted when they saw them appear and then spontaneously started singing so loudly that you could't hear the Lovely Ladies' voices for most of it (Dave laughed)! The second time the crowd started singing Hani Hani, you could see Dave in disbelief scratching his head walking around the stage…the whole band just stopped playing anything at all and let it go on. You could see Dave and Stefan looking at each other in disbelief …I swear the band didn't know what to do! It was like the crowd just completely took over and didn't want to stop! lol I have to say that Stay was fantastic with their voices added to it…especially the end of the song. Here's a clip of second Hani Hani:

I know it's not "cool" to like the Lovely Ladies, but seeing them for the first time in 13 years was VERY cool. Amazing Long Black Veil. Great Stay, the way it was meant to be played. And a really good acoustic set with fan favorites like Billies, Ants and Two Step opener. Huge fan of the Granny opener to the electric set.

Seek Up was evening\\\\\\\'s best. Crowd singing Everyday (not played) put Dave, Stephan and others in disbelief. Second half of act two lacked originality; devoid of improv; previously heard it nearly note for note on various LiveTrax (killed my buzz).

The "Lovely Ladies" for the first time in 13 years- that, at least in my opinion, makes this a historic show. I have cried tears of happiness three times in my life-the first two were after the birth of my children and the third was during the crowd inspired "hani, hani" chants. A truly magical thing to experience if you have followed the band for a while.

The acoustic set was fantastic and made the large Xfinity Center feel like a small venue. Boyd's solo on Seek Up was incredible. This was the show that saw the return of the Lovely Ladies. The was probably the best behaved and most enthusiastic show I have been to and this was #17 for me. Thank you DMB & crowd!

One of the greatest shows I have been to. It iwas by far the best setlist of the season so far.
Acoustic was good with Two Step and Ants. Electric was phenomenal. The Band was on, the Fans were awesome. You left feeling great.
Really people complaining? 7 piece live band that played for almost 3 hours. Name a more talented live band.
#36 into Long Black Veil was another incredible moment at Comcast Center.
2 Year ago They played Halloween into Tripping Billies, there was chaos in the aisles. People Dancing and everyone was in an awesome mood.

Lovely Ladies???? Why? Christ, I thought that bad decision ended 2001. Almost vomited when I read Boyd's post that they are going to be part of a few more shows this tour. I knew we were in for miserable Stay as soon as they walked out.

THE LOVELY LADIES!!!! Brenda, Cindy and Tawatha. First time in 13 years that The Lovely Ladies guested. Crowd immediately started singing the #36 outdo to Everyday and the actually sang it as the outro to Long Black Veil. I was excited to hear I'll Back You Up. I have only heard it Dave and Tim. Good show. Sat in sec 1 row BB seats 1,2 (Thanks again Tom!) and the crowd was great around us. Audience overall was loud and had good energy. I've always liked my home venue at Mansfield. Poster is cool too. Its awesome how they have a mercy tent in the parking lot so I was able to get my poster before the show and leave it in the car instead of having to lug it around with me in the show. There's always a surprise the band pulls out for Mansfield... this year The Lovely Ladies, last year Victor Wooten...

The Lovely Ladies returning was the worst possible news for this band. They killed all the positive feelings I had about the show. Now I hear they will be playing some additional shows. FREAKING DISASTER.
Not looking forward to the rest of the tour strictly because of them.

Great set, but the energy is what made this one of the top 5 shows I've seen out of almost 50. I never thought I'd be so upset to not get Everyday! Highlights for me were the two step opener, granny to start the full set, that incredible #36 moment and long black veil. Only complaint would be closing with Rapunzel... Not my favorite closer but a great song, and they nailed it last night. Crazy good show

I consider myself a big critic of set lists but this show was outstanding! the only reason I didn\'t give it 5 stars was because I\'m a little confused about the acoustic set. I just don\'t see the point. the crowd was not into it at all and it just seemed like a waste of time. But hey, Dave didn\'t have to pay an opening act.

One Mansfield show instead of 2 made for two things. Outrageous secondary market pricing and a more excited crowd. Some in the crowd talked about how this was their first dave show in a few years despite having previous lives of following dave for northeast shows. The acoustic set had few empty seats in the pavilion seating. Songs started acoustically but outside tims electric many of the songs like Two Step Billies and Ants felt like it wasnt really acoustic but full band which was both good and bad. The electric set brought the lovely ladies out which was better than i thought it would be. Save me and stay worked the best.

and holy fuck did I have a religious experience. I vowed that day to never miss a show within 200 miles of my house and here I am 4 years and 4 shows later; the most insufferable DMB fan possible.
