I missed out on last years caravan tour so it has been a while since I have enjoyed the magic of DMB live.....and as always this show DID NOT disappoint. I have been to 11 shows here and there. Always something great about The Gorge. Even though like many fans I have heard these songs many times but yet again I am blown away when I get to hear variations I have not heard. Time Bomb/Two Step was GREAT. The whole Sexy M'Fer on Jimi was great and did anyone else catch Jeff C playing two sax at once? One in each hand yet playing them at the same time. Ton of energy. Boyd was killing it. They just had fun and it showed. Not every set list will please every fan at every show. We all enjoy DMB for different songs and for different reasons. This setlist was good enough for me and I enjoyed the craziness that came with it......glad to get to see them again.

I loved the music but my experience in the pit was tainted by a number of unreasonable drunks who were out of control. The beach ball pissed off the band and really I don't want to hear a 40 year old woman scream for 20 minutes about how she wants to screw dave's brain out...come on. I think the band was on point. The sound was pretty damn good. There was just a vibe in the air that I didn't dig. I'm not usually critical...just didn't have fun on this night.

First show for my young son, Who I had in a carrier with ear protection. Well actually, the ear protection got left at camp so I covered his ears with my hands all night long. He passed out early on through the set, but I had to leave early to get him back to camp. Turns out I missed my all time number 1, Ants Marching. Always next year.

It's great to be rewarded with an awesome show after a great day of partying at the campground! This venue lived up to the hype! The band knows they have to kill it at this place! They played there ass off!

Pit Tix~ Seat #52 (along with 53,54,55) As the evening progressed I went from 10 heads back from centerstage to 5 heads away. I won 4 tix to Labor Dave Weekend via FB Volkswagen One Sweet Ride contest. We were told to take a pic with 3 of our best friends showing how we would carpool to the show. I sent in a pic of me & my daughter, Melody (her 1st show 1998 Hershey Park, she was 8y/o), on my Ducati Monster. The Gorge is EPIC, as Dave says, \\\\\\\"Heaven\\\\\\\'s Amphitheater\\\\\\\" Other than the Bahama\\\\\\\'s Cruise this was the most memorable show I\\\\\\\'ve been to. I stayed for Sunday\\\\\\\'s show with no tix but was outside laying in the grass on my DMB/VW blanket watching a meteor shower. PRICELESS! Closest to Dave since Sovereign of the Seas (boat show) 350ppl. I will be back @ The Gorge 2013 I HOPE & PRAY Namaste\\\\\\\' Miss LeRoi

It was an insane show. The energy from the band was electric from the start and Time Bomb>Two Step was ridiculous!!! I have to give a big HELL YEAH to Fenton for this years transformer lighting rig. Easily the best lighting design I've seen to date. Sorry the set list disappointed some of you but for me this was one of my favorite shows. Maybe I'm not as hardcore of a fan as I thought. Show #92 for me tonight and I can't wait!!!

I think they messed up Two Step, cause they played about 5 different songs while Carter kept the same beat. Luckily I loudly pointed out each mistake to the people around me.

I hav to wonder if the Sirius XM simulcast affected setlist choices? There were lots of tunes which would be familiar to the casual or new DMB fan and well suited to attracting new listeners on Sirius. The "Mercy" --> "Out of My Hands" segue was cool from a standpoint of watching DJM play the piano more, but when followed by LIHOG, everyone anywhere near me took a powder - lots of momentum lost built during Pie, Crush & Spaceman. All this being said, it was DMB at The Gorge. What could possibly be wrong?

Maybe the best setlist for a show we (my wife and I) have ever seen. Not a song I didn't enjoy all evening. Boyd was on fire, as was Jeff and Carter. Heck, everyone was on their game tonight. It doesn't get much better than Saturday night at The Gorge!!

After N1, I was excited for N2. For first timers that I go with I try to label the nights as Friday is the \"Lovers Night\", Saturday is the \"Party Night\" and Sunday is \"Rarity/Hardcore Night\" as far as songs and the setlist go. This was for sure the party night. I\'m usually not the biggest \"Seven\" fan but I can now see why Dave has been opening with this all tour, it does get the juices flowing. \"The Stone\" being one of my top 3, was as good as ever, and I\'m pretty sure this is where I lost my voice. Nancies>Warehouse was all it was cracked out to be. The set didn\'t have the flow that friday did but the up and down rollercoaster ride is something I always enjoy. Like everyone else has said Time Bomb>2Step was phenomenal. Having seen 2 step the past 8 years this was the best one. From reserve seating I can\'t explain how loud it really was cannot be explained in text. I somehow called Some Devil for it's debut on the tour; just had that vibe that it was the perfect "Encore Spot1" song. Ants Marching was a great encore as it kept the party going.
Overall this was probably my favorite night of the weekend and as my #26 show was in my top 3 all time.
A Solid 9/10.

I agree with those who say The Stone is underappreciated. Great addition. Spaceman was a must as the moon was up and there were a couple dudes walking around in astronaut attire. Sirius XM live broadcast probably dictated the playlist a bit but still a strong show for DMB fans new and old. Glad it did not stop the inclusion of Sexy M-F Shake that Ass to Jimmi. Setlist was very heavy on Whiskey songs. Time Bomb-->Two Step was just broken it was so good! It was nice to see more glowstick showers as compaired to Friday night. Putting in my request for Granny, Raven and Dreaming Tree for Sunday. (Dave..if you are reading)

Seven is such an amazing song, and to start with it was a great idea. Hearing the band switch times from 7/8 to 6/8 to 5/8 and back flawlessly is always a treat and really shows off their talent. The Stong was great to hear, it was my first time hearing it live and it was only played four times on the tour! Playing Mercy again was a little odd which is the reason why I give four stars. Sure, maybe since it's their single they did it, and according to Dave, "we like it, so fuck it you know what I mean", but I still would have liked to hear another song in it's place. Dave's pinao interlude from Mercy to Out of My Hands was great, though. The common set of Dancing Nancies into Warehouse was also a fun combination. I miss Butch's licks in the Salsa Jam of Warehouse, though. Ending with Ants was great. I hadn't ever heard a full version of Ants in my life because it's always been a tease...e.g. Ants into Halloween or something else. Overall a great show.

Section 202, Row 1, Seat 25
My Dave Matthews Band night 2 at The Gorge (of a 3 night stand) review: Stone was hauntingly poetic (one of my fav songs and highly underrated in my opinion), the did some stuff on Two Step that was ridiculous (including the teaser intro which caused me to turn to my friend and curse when it looked like the teaser was all we were going to get), and the beauty of Everyday, I realized, isn't the Hani chanting at the beginning, but in the middle/end where we, as a crowd, have now become part of the band (we ARE the back up singers and Dave sings around us/with us) - it's a beautiful example of a trust and relationship between a band and its fans (not sure if it comes through on the broadcast). While there was a slow part where he lost the audience and Warehouse lost a bit of its luster, overall high energy show and the longest I've ever seen, reaching Bruce Springsteen-like length at, I believe, 3 hours. Can't wait for tonight!
