BlackJack was incredible I was dying to hear that live! I like Spaceman but I'm still unsure how I feel about that as an opener. Pig, PNP->Rapunzel, BlackJack, WWYS, and the Last Stop were the highlights of the night for me. Dave on the baritone guitar during that intro to What You Are was pretty sweet. Still not feeling the Needle and the Damage Done. This was the 2nd show I've seen Dave open the encore with it. Overall great show and probably the best I've been to!

Great setlist; encore left a little to be desired. Finally got to hear Pig, Time Bomb, What You Are and Christmas Song live. Good mix of Grux and oldies. All in all, great show as always! Will be lonely next year but looking forward to picking it up in 2012! Right on, Right on!

One of the weaker shows of the fall tour imo. I'm not sure if anyone else agrees, but for me there is just way too much big whiskey being played. overall an average setlist, but of course a great show. highlights: last stop, christmas song, rapunzel, WWYS. awesome to hear blakjack

This was such a fun show. We were trying to guess the opener and of course all failed. I enjoy Spaceman, just not in this spot. Then the show kicked up a notch with a wonderful run of Pig - Grey Street - Seven - Say Goodbye - Shake Me - Stay or Leave - Rhyme and Reason - Funny - Everyday. First Blackjack for me. It is a really nice song. WWYS was off the chain. PNP-Rapunzel was amazing. The improv into What You Are sounded like they were about to play Eh hee. But the lyrics were What You Are. That was neat. The last four, Time Bomb, Christmas Song, You and Me, and Jimi Thing were cool to end the main set with. This was my first Needle and the Damage Done (not a big fan at all). But when I heard the first chord on The Last Stop, it sealed the deal. This was one of my favorite shows I've been to.

((My buddy and his wife traded his better seats to a couple that was supposed to be sitting beside us. It's a blast to sit/stand with some close friends. Perhaps this is the couple that mentioned trading seats in an earlier review.))

Great show guys!

Good show. Pretty standard for what has been going so far this Fall. Hard to follow MSG N2, but this was a solid show.

First off thanks to the couple who hooked me and my wife up with better seats than we had. Really nice gesture and definately made the night better. Now onto the show. This was a great show with lots of energy but what else would one expect from a great band. Did not expect Spaceman to open the show. Would have prefered something else but the song was good. They played Pig, which is one of my favorites. Carter rocked out the intro to Say Goodbye. Cool to hear Rhyme and Reason. Trombone Shorty killed on What Would You Say. As an aside I thought Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave were a great opening act. The improv was interesting. It sounded like the music for Eh Hee but with the lyrics to What You Are. Christmas Song was a somewhat expected suprise. It flowed well out of Time Bomb. The Last Stop was a great closer but I wished there would have been one more song in the middle of the encore. All in all it was a great show and lots of fun. Thanks Dave Matthews Band for a fun night.

This was honestly a great show! I had the time of my life with my friends and I. I was the guy in the pit holding the Halloween sign which Dave responded after Say Goodbye by saying--I think the real soul of that song is a bad idea--with a real maniacal laugh afterward. If youve read up on Dave history recently, the laugh is normally a reference to anyone requesting Halloween. So, it didnt get played..just wanted it to in case this was their last go-around by going out with a bang..but Christmas Song, WWYS, Rhyme & Reason, and Last Stop were all awesome so I cant blame em. Great show Dave and THANK YOU!!!!!

Nothing spectacular, but as usual a great show. I was expecting a little less repeats and Big Whiskey but oh well. Atmosphere was also not the best i've seen. Good points were trombone shorty on wwys and pig, what you are jam and last stop. Hilarious davespeak too. Overall pretty good.

My first DMB show! I grew up in Atlanta so the city plus Dave was a treat. I had never heard Pig and of course Trombone Shorty was awesome. Touched Dave and snapped a video of shaking his hand!

Loved this show! Awesome energy, especially being front and center. Highlights were R&R, WWYS (with Trombone Shorty, which was DIRTYY), and the Improv + What You Are. One of the better shows for sure! Thanks Dave!

Trombone Shorty was brilliant. DMB was tight and the setlist was way cool and sounded great in Philips Arena which is not always known for good sound.

I forfeited the rail but got a great 2nd row show. Long drive to Atlanta and then an all-nighter to South Carolina. Too much drinking before the show in line. Kept to myself mostly because of it. Made one new friend from Florida.

Not a bad show when you look back at it. Really loved Pig and Grey Street was awesome. I was right in front of Jeff and Rashawn, and Rashawn looks so comfortable with the band now. He was laughing and cutting up and jammin, and when Trombone Shorty came out there he was diggin that shit hard. That was one of the highlight of my night! Trombone's off the hook. Check him out!

I keep saying the most recent show I have seen is the best. Well the bottom line is you can't ever go wrong! For starters Trombone Shorty was incredible. Never heard of them before. One of the best opening acts I have seen. As for DMB,they were spectacular as always. Dave was joking all night long about a cold he was recovering from and the cold medicine he was taking (he really is a nut! In a good way of course!). Once again, they pulled out some good tunes from the vault, i.e Pig. But the highlight for me was was the "gut" of the show starting with Rhyme & Reason, then Funny The Way It Is, Everyday, Blackjack, What Would You Say and Repunzel....What Would You Say being the highlight or the evening, especially with Trombone Shorty soloing with his trombone. Who would ever think that a trombone solo would sound so good! It was incredible. Also Jimi Thing did not disappoint. It was fun to see Jeff backing up Rashawn's solo with his double saxophones. Great sound!! It is going to be a long 2011 without having a few DMB shows to go to.

Overall great show, it had a lot of grux songs, but it also had oldies in there with it. Trombone Shorty's solo in WWYS was amazing, really added a new element to the song. Last Stop was amazing, Pig was good, and my favorite Grey Street was of course excellent. Ended with Jimmy Thing, don't get me wrong it was good, but it didn't feel like the end, when they finished it felt like they should've had another song after it and then went into the encore. Dave mentioned Roi in the encore it's just nice hearing his name wish I could've heard him in person.

Great show....as usual

Key Points:

WHAT YOU ARE improv jam/intro..... euphoria/sureal. (plus, hadn't heard it since Nashville '05)

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY (hadn't heard it since Charlotte '08.

*NO Ants Marching, NO Tripping Billies, and No Crash (Thank you so much DMB...I like the songs, but I get real sick of them, due to the frequent appearance in sets.)
