Big let down compared to night 1. There were some highlights, Stone, LIOG, Granny, Two Step... but lots of songs that I wasn't to thrilled about. No billies, jimi thing, nancies, warehouse - would have been nice to see something special like Halloween. Show #48 and I STILL haven't seen Minarets. Oh well, night 1 was a blast though!

More like a 3 1/2 star show, but I'm gonna round it up to 4 for the incredible Two Step tonight. On the positive side of things The Stone was a nice opener and my 1st Christmas Song and Granny really made it a special night for me. LIOG was a blast, Boyd was just killer. Cry Freedom and Digging a Ditch were both solid, def no complaints from me there. What I was disappointed in though was the extended stretches of bland some old same old music. I don't hate Cornbread, but enough with it already. Spaceman cleared the seats for bathroom breaks, don't even know why they insist on playing it so often. I'm not gonna go so far as some of these other Ants that gave this show bad reviews, but all in all this was a rather unimpressive N2. I will agree wholeheartedly that N1 was far and away a superior show not only from the band, but from the fans as well.

While alot of people put this show down, i really enjoyed. Alot of energy with the following day a holiday (Veterans Day). Stone was a great way to open. Granny, Lie in Our Graves made it more than worth while. An amazing kick ass Two Step.

Second night in Boston, much much better. It was very clear that Dave got some good sleep the night before.
It was totally different concert No matter how much my feet hurt standing in line for hours how bad I had to pee no way i was fighting pit frenzy he was on a roll and rocking the house.
The solos were amazing- and the set list brought the crowd into DMB like I had always dreamed
Thank you Dave for an awesome concert

My first DMB show!!
Setlist:
The Stone
Squirm
Funny The Way It Is
What Would You Say
Corn Bread
Crash Into Me
Spaceman
So Damn Lucky
Shake Me Like a Monkey
Cry Freedom
Granny
Lie In Our Graves
Digging a Ditch
Write A Song
Blackjack
You and Me
Two Step
Encore:
Christmas Song
Time Bomb
All Along The Watchtower
Highlights for me, for sure:
The Stone: GREAT opener. They played the shit out of it.
WWYS: Boyd was PHENOMENAL. Just truly at the top of his game.
Corn Bread: Love Corn Bread!! I can't believe Dave didn't hurt himself dancing.
Cry Freedom: OMG!
Granny: EEEEEEEEEEEE! This is a top contender for the position of "Tammi's favorite DMB song." I'm SO HAPPY I got to see it.
LIOG: Probably the number three highlight of the evening for me, after Granny and ...
Christmas Song: Jenny and I clutched each other and screamed like 10-year-old girls at a Justin Bieber concert.
I've heard lots of live DMB albums, so I know how good they can be, but what doesn't translate via live album is how practically everyone is singing along at the top of their lungs, making this awesome backdrop to the sounds of what the guys are doing onstage. The "Love ... Maybe" parts of Granny were so loud and joyous I wanted to dance right out of the balcony!
I could not be happier about my first DMB show. I could have done with less Big Whiskey but I never for one second had any illusions about how much Big Whiskey stuff there would be. Next time maybe I'll see them in an off year and see if it's different!

Aside from the fact that there were some girls in our section that thought they could sing better than Dave (impossible), the show was amazing!! I went with friends who had never been, and seeing the show through fresh eyes made me realize how talented they all are. Thanks to dave, carter, stefan, boyd, rashawn, tim and jeff for an awesome evening. Enjoy your time off with family and friends and again thanks for the music!!

I had a really good time and actually really liked the set list although there were a lot of mixed feelings about it here on ants. There were a lot of songs I really enjoy and the encore was great imo. Oh, and the opener (John Butler) was truly amazing. Definitely made me a fan!

The first half of the show was expected, newer songs that were played like the cd. Being a huge live DMB fan I wanted more from the first 1/2. The second half was great. I think Boyd must have been not feeling well.

My favorite DMB show ever!!! Mainly because of my "seat" location! Thank you warehouse!! I stood for 6 straight hours barely making it to the end of the show! At the beginning I was about 10 people away from dave but by the end of the show I was only 4 people from him! OMG!!! I have a great pic on my iphone i will try and upload later.

Stone opener, LIOG with boyd and a ridulous two step was good enough for me. Also cool to see wwys, ditch, and blackjack for the first time. 3 song encore with xmas song along with hearing granny, and cry freedom again this year was an added bonus. Dont know why people get so picky over the setlist, they aren't going to play last stop or minarets at every show.

Pretty solid show. What Would You Say sounded very solid. Every time I hear Two Step they evolve the song, this one was amazing with the short little reggae sounding break down. LioG with the reprise, Write a Song, Black Jack and Christmas Song were all hilites and first times heard for me. Always something new even at my 14th show. Waitin for 2012...

The show had its ups (the great opening run) and downs (the second half), but for me I'll remember it for the incredible version of LIOG. Boyd's solo was the most gorgeous thing I've ever heard the band play. And that after 11 shows, I finally heard The Stone!

Whoever the person in the front row was with the spaceman sign...get a life. npbody wants to hear spaceman for the 11th time in one year. Stone, LIOG, Granny awesome...shake me and you and me? are you kidding? common dave....all you people who gave this show above a 3 are wack. maybe this was your first dave concert, but i'm a seasoned professional and this was a stone cold 3. if that.

13th show. UNLUCKY 13th. left very disappointed, not in the way they played, but in how complacent they are playing the same songs
good things: boyd on lie in our graves...amazing, the stone, diggin a ditch, cry freedom, xmas song, what would u say, granny
bad things: no need to play you and me, shake me, cornbread, spaceman at every single show! blackjack was unimpressive, and the show hit a serious dull point midset. ive never wanted to leave a show early but the combo of time bomb>watchtower almost made me leave.
left a bad taste in my mouth and im happy this band is taking a year off. maybe they can go and remember their classic songs and pull them off the shelf instead of the same garbage at every venue. so disappointed

This was my first show. I can't believe how lucky i was to see such a great set. When I heard the first notes of The Stone i nearly lost it. They played an absolutely amazing version of So Damn Lucky. My seats weren't the best but I had an awesome view of Carter. Being a drummer myself, it was like watching God play and I am so happy i could watch him. Boyds solo in LIOG was another highlight. Just listening to the tape now brings tears to my eyes. Two Step and AATW were great ways to close the show. Al around a great show with an ok crowd. People were being obnoxious at times but hey what can I do other then appreciate the fact that I even got to go.

I thought the show in terms of songs I had not heard what would you say, christmas song, digging a ditch, black jack, etc. was good. This was my tenth show and all i really wanted to hear was Big eyed fish followed by bartender, and christmas song. I have waited years to hear Christmas song and it was finally played. In that aspect it was spectacular, but the second have the core setlist could have been better although liog was unbelievable.

After seeing a solid show on N1, I really expected that N2 was going to be unbelievable. And at times, it was, as Granny and LIOG brought the house down, as did The Stone to open and Two Step and Watchtower to close, respectively. Some nice surprises, Write A Song -- first time hearing that live, very solid.
However, I do believe it's time for You and Me (and the like) to have less of a presence in the set list. When Dave announced last night that he doesn't like repeats, then had some repeats, it was a little disappointing.
Regardless, two very solid nights in Boston, and truthfully there were highlights from both nights that make the shows memorable in their own way. Best of luck on the hiatus boys, get some rest.

Rather Disappointing...
There were a few times, including the opener, that made one believe the show was about to gain momentum and live up to the first night... or any other show this tour. Unfortunately it didn't happen... a high energy song was only followed by another one once (Granny-->LIOG). I've got to guess that Dave being sick contributed to the pace of the show...
Of my 38 shows... this clearly falls into the bottom 5. One could argue my expections/hopes were inappropriately high with them taking a year break, but looking at the other reviews it doesn't seem I'm alone...
Not the way I was hoping to tide myself over...

8th show, bottom 3 definitely. my expectation at a venue liek the garden was to dance my face off, but dave chose a very tame and mellow set. partly because im pretty sure he was banged up. love DMB, every shows a good show and we got some rare songs but overall could've brought the funk a bit more.
