Once again Dallas show outdoes Houston by leaps and bounds. The energy alone from the band was night and day compared for Friday night.

Ive been doing the "Texas Two Step" for 3 years now and this is the first time that the Dallas setlist was better than that of The Woodlands... Having said that IT WAS WASTED ON THE AUDIENCE.... The pit seeemed to be the only part of the venue that had a pulse tonight. About 1/3 of the crowd even knew what the hell Last Stop was. My section was seated for the majority of the show and really really detracted from my experience, it was an amazing set but the audience didnt seem to give a damn. Long story short... Crappy crowd, even worse venue, and a great setlist.

The Last Stop to start a show is always an amazing way to get the crowd going and typically a sign that a good show is to come. As in Houston though the crowd was deadfull with not interaction what so ever, and acted like they had no idea what any of the songs were. This was my 40th show and the band was incredible for it as always and i wasnt going to let the crowd ruin it for me. I finally got my Bigeyedfish after shows which came right after a mind blowing 41. Liog was amazing as always boyd just continues to tear that solo up on this tour, and the jimmi was great as well. Overall Solid set and great energy but another horrible crowd

GOT A DRUMSTICK FROM CARTER!! It actually hit Elena in the head! Sat with Elena, Brian and Chris. What a set list in the first half. Last Stop, Granny, Write a Song, Big Eyed Fish.... First time I ever saw a woman guest with Dave on a song. Great way to end my 2010 summer tour... On to the Fall tour!

After being at SPAC this year and Dave teasing the Sh1t out of LS, i thought i wouldn't get to hear it this year. Low and behold, they OPEN with the sickest version ive ever heard. I could have left at that point and been completely satisfied with this show. 41,Granny, BEF, Lie In, Everyday, and Ants were off the chain, SOLID show. Top 3 out of 22 for me

My first show in nine years. But, #41, Lie In Our Graves and Jimi Thing? C'mon, the band should limit their noodling to one song.

Last Stop opener was amazing. One of the most powerful performances I have ever seen by this band. Dave's voice was really good for this late in the tour. The first half of the show was great but then Can't Stop slowed things down. Not that bad though with the Tim blues solo at the end. Could have done without the SpaceBread repeat from last year but things picked up again with a beautiful solo by Boyd on LIOG and then surprised with You & Me with Ivete. Everyday and Jimi fit well to close the show. This show is definately in my top 5.

Great opening w/ Last Stop through to Granny. The rest of the set was solid with new-to-me songs and a cool version of You and Me. I could have done without a repeat of Spacebread, even though the songs were as good as usual. I do believe it's time to start traveling to better venues upon their return.

Wow...finally got to hear The Last Stop! Granny at number 3? What a great way to start a concert. Also Boyd was going to town all night...it was great to see him happy this year (moreso than the last few years). It was neat to hear Big Eyed Fish and Some Devil too. The crowd was into it at the front of the lawn I thought too...more than Houston sadly.
That being said the energy started to die off later and the setlist went downhill.

Out of the 19 shows I've been to, this is #1 or #2 for me. Dave had the 12 sting on stage before the show, so I thought for sure it would be a Big Eyed Fish opener...and then they opened with Last Stop, which blew me away. Other highlights were LIOG, Jimi, 41, and a surprising Granny.

The show itself was remarkable, the crowd was a little weak, I had to sit in front of this wasted chick who was making out with this one perv the whole time, so that was annoying. It was my first DMB and first ever concert, it would have been 5 stars if they would have played one of the following: Warehouse, Two Step, So Right, or Don't Drink the Water. I just couldn't believe seeing the band in person. And the way they did the lights and how there was lightning all around the stadium. It was great. The opening band sucked I thought, you didn't even know what the dude was saying. I really liked how in the set they played old stuff that I didn't expect at all. All in all it was a great time, I wish I would have seen some more fans that were young. It's sad they they are dying out with the younger generations. I, myself, am 15, and I didn't see one other person there that looked like they were under 15.

I came down from Kansas with a group. My 9th show!!! We were all thrilled with this setlist! The Wichita show featured I think 9 songs from Big Whiskey, there were only 6, & they were well picked. Last Stop was a great opener, Granny was sooo good, #41 is just fantastic, Big Eyed Fish was a nice twist, then Lie in Our Graves was a great song to throw in! Also, You&Me>Everyday>JimiThing....WOW!!!! One of the best trios I've ever seen, Awesome! Btw I called SomeDevil>Ants! Everyone had great solos and shining moments as usual, and there wasn't a monsoon this year which was nice! I felt as if the band was in the zone for sure, this was a GREAT 9-11 show, so glad we went! Top 2or3 for me!!! Thanks DMB

Houston > Dallas and it wasn't even close.
Houston I sat in row T to the far left. Dallas I was on the front row next to RRoss and I still felt Houston was better. It was my first time being that close since probably '04 and still came out of the show disappointed. Baby Blue and Write a Song two nights in a row for us Texas people? WTF? But considering the two nights I got a great mix of new stuff I hadn't heard on BW and some great oldies. Granny is one of my favorites so to hear that was awesome. I just had a big problem with the song selection in Dallas, the middle of the show was this:
Why I Am*
#41*
Big Eyed Fish*
Seven*
Cant Stop *
Spaceman*
Corn Bread*
Write A Song*
Lie In Our Graves*
Baby Blue+
You And Me*~
Everyday*
Ya hearing 41 is always awesome but LIOG isn't one of my favorite older songs so basically for a 12 song stretch it was a bunch of songs that I personally would be happy if they didn't play.
Hey but this is DMB and everyone has a different palate...
cheers!

The show was very good, other than being short a song or 2 by 2010 typical setlist length.
Last Stop opener...I've seen a few of these this year and never thought I'd see one live. It's like finding a Golden Unicorn!
Ivete Sangalo guested on You and Me and sang in what I assume was Portuguese. Think a Brazilian Sandra Bullock who can sing notes that make your spine tingle. Yeah, that was hot.
Highlights for me were LS opener, Granny, Write A Song (still newish to me), and what I think was a bona fide improvisational jam on Jimi Thing with Jeff busting out the 2 saxes.
Next stop, probably C'Ville in November.

Thanks to #41 & The Last Stop to give this any stars. Those are gems, but 40% of the setlist from GrooGrux, really? That album is plain awful. This was my 10th Dallas & 13th overall DMB concert and by far the worst. Terrible setlist.
These guys are completely different since LeRoi passed. Tim & Jeff are awesome musicians, but if they are contributing to the writing, I'd wish they'd stop. If you like the newer stuff, I'm happy for you. But DMB pre-2008 was MUCH better. Go watch a concert DVD and you'll see the difference.
I'm glad they are taking a touring break. They need to find themselves and realize that we want to hear mostly the older stuff since everyone likes those.

This was my first ever DMB concert...sad that i've been listening to them this long and had yet to go to a concert.
It was phenomenal. The band sounded so good, i've listened to recordings where Dave's voice was a little off but tonight he was at his best. The entire band was getting into it as well. I was really happy to see Boyd whip out like 3-4 solos, one being a good 5-6 minutes long.
The set list was really great, I heard a song I hadn't heard before which was nice and they were doing some hardcore jamming. It was cool to hear them open with "The Last Stop".
Some highlights included Cornbread, Shake Me Like a Monkey, #41, Jimi Thing, Everyday, Tripping Billies and Ants Marching.
Jimi Thing was unbelievable...went on for a good 17 or so minutes with solos from Boyd, Tim, Rashawn and Jeff.
I was a bit disappointed with the encore though. Ants Marching was great but they opened it with Some Devil with Dave solo on the electric guitar....good song but not the greatest energy inducing song for an encore. Ants Marching really picked it up though.
Overall great show, well worth it...and it didn't rain!!
