Undoubtedly in my top 3 shows I have seen of all time- Shoreline this year was absolutely unbelievable!! It had been a few years since I have seen the boys at this venue, and I forgot how much I love it, and just how awesome of a place it is- totally brings a special vibe that the crowd feeds off of- almost everyone near me was on their feet dancing and singing the entire night (unless they were puking!), and I was on the lawn!!

I went with all my girls to this show, something we hadn't been able to do for a few years now, which made it special right off the bat, and Raphael Saadiq as the opening act totally got the groove for the night started- they were great, and way funky!

When the lights went down and I heard those opening notes of the first tune, I have to admit my brain did not register what song it was, and I have been seeing shows since '98! One of my friends and I realized that it was Last Stop at the same time, and started screaming our heads off- what an awesome way to kick off the show "smoke clouds roll in, symphony of death, this is the last stop" augggghhhhh love it!!

Followed by Seek Up, are you kidding me?!!? I absolutely love this song, have been dying to see this song this year, and here it was! One Sweet World next- we were in disbelief!! Stay or Leave rocked, I used to not be such a huge fan of this tune, but it sounds great full band, and I am loving it live this year!!

Crush was up next, Stefan is really rockin' his solos lately (and looking amazing while doing it!), and this was no exception- another one of my all time fave tunes that I could hear at every show- the crowd was totally into it, and Boyd was tearing it up!! Then followed by Seven, my fave song off BW and another crowd fave, especially among my girls and I; who doesn't love Dave when he sings "woman pleeaaase I am your possession, and you are my obsession" come on now!! And then here comes Rapunzel like a good slap to the face- another one of my faves I have been dying for this year! It sounded tight, the boys were rockin' this one out, and so was I- amazing!!

DAD, not one of my faves, but still a great tune, and by this time I needed to catch my breath anyways! #41, what can I say?! Another all time fave, especially for one of my friends I was with, Jeff tore it up- awesome!! I am liking Write a Song more and more these days too, Spaceman was great, and I knew what was coming next! I don't get why Cornbread gets so much hate here- the crowd loves this song, the boys really get into it, and this version seemed a bit faster, which made it really great- and who doesn't love to see Dave bust out his dance moves??

Jimi was awesome as well, especially with the Saadiq horn section- the jam was rockin', the crowd was singing along and totally into it, especially my girls and I! Shake Me was good, You and Me is my least fave song from BW, and my least fave song of the show, but the crowd seems to love this one!

I was figuring Ants to close the main set, but when I heard Time Bomb, I knew Watchtower was coming next. Stefan's solo was out of this world, he was really jammin' out the whole show, but took it to another level with his solo here. When ever I read the setlists of shows I am not at, I always get disappointed when I see Watchtower- until I am there live and I rememeber just how powerful it is, and how Dave really gets into those vocals, he sounded fabulous- awesome way to close the set!

Encore started off good, I was with all my girls, so Sister had a special meaning to us, we sang our hearts out! Black Jack was completely dope! It is getting better and better as the tour goes on, I love the jam, and the boys seem to really love it too- they were rockin' it out!! I was hoping for either Two Step or Halloween to close the show; Two Step is my all time fave DMB song, and is basically the theme song for me and my girls who I was at the show with. Halloween, pretty self explanatory, but I figured we probably wouldn't get it because of our awesome Last Stop opener, but a girl can dream right?? When Boyd started with those opening Two Step notes, we all went wild, everyone was on their feet dancing and singing along- the boys rocked it out, Carter is freakin' amazing, he seems to rock harder each time I see them!! I never want any DMB show to be over, but this one, I absolutely did not want to end! Amazing show, amazing time, amazing venue- love ya Shoreline!!

Incredible show!! Fantastic setlist, great energy and Dave and the band seemed to be so happy to have been back at Shoreline because they were personally interacting with the crowd a lot.

Personal favorites last night were #41, Seek Up, Stay or Leave, Black Jack and of course Two Step and Watchtower. His voice has never sounded better and he left nothing on the stage, especially on Watchtower.

Well...there isn't much to say...

JK!!! What an amazing show. The band carried over a great energy from marysville into shoreline. It was by far the best show I've seen and I was at the greek 2008 which was one of the cleanest I had ever heard before.

My buddy and I were talking before about the poster being a recorder, and there were supposed to be no camera's allowed that they maybe taping a DVD or something but no extra cameras anywhere...oh well

*-First time Heard by me! Had to add a little extra touch.

Here is the set.

The Last Stop* - Ummmm where did this come from?!?!?! I didn't see it coming at all. I heard the first 10 notes and did a double take then just started screaming due to sheer excitement. Great version! My buddy and I knew dave was in good form with his voice because he was "shouty"...shouty dave is a good dave Can't believe I got a Last Stop!!!!!

Seek Up* - Knew it was going to be a more amazing show after this came on! Such an amazing opening jam. It was like having a double opener!

One Sweet World - Could have used the instrumental intro but still a great sing along.

Stay Or Leave - Standard but clean! Dave's voice was on tonight and this was the proof.

Crush - Great Stefan intro. Perfect length. Kept things moving nicely. I enjoyed it.

Seven - Hey! I can hear timmy and stefan! Great to hear a "full" version compared to Marysville.

PNP -> Rapunzel* - Great ending jam on this one. Perfect tempo (this song is my one pet peeve when the timing is wrong) Great version for my first time.

Digging a Ditch* - So excited to get this one. Love this little busted stuff classic!

#41 - A little long but still, solid!

Write a song - good.

Spacebread - In the bathroom

Jimi W/ horns - The horns were just as good as the night before. For what it's worth outro was sweeeet! Reminded me of 07 at shoreline.

SMLAM - MONKEY!

Y&M - Sweet little song. Called my GF and let her listen in. I love her so.

Time Bomb - Shouty dave at his best. Great version. Good vocals. Solid guitar by timmy.

Watchtower - KILLED IT! Enjoyed every minute singing along. Dave's voice still holding up great.

Sister - Sweet short, did the job.

Black Jack* - I enjoyed this one. I was worried it was going to close...thank the lord...could have segued nicely into anything. Nice little outro jam.

Two Step - NO TIMEBOMB LYRICS!!!!!!! During the encore break the crowd started a slow clap. The band mimicked it during the outro. Absolutely amazing!

Out of my 6 shows, this is by far the best show I have seen or will ever see. What a way to end my weekend. Thanks to all I met and I wish you guys an awesome year! See you in 2012

I drug my parents to SF to see this show. It was there first show, and DMB did not let me down. This is one of the best I have been to for sure. The sound and quality was outstanding, and the setlist was great. Spaceman to Cornbread was my favorite part. Love watching Dave do his thing. Jimi Thing was great because they brought the opening band on stage, and them brothers are so good with their horns. All Along the Watch Tower as always was the best, and my dad was very impressed - He said they played it better than Led Zep. Blackjack and Two Step were awesome.

I have been to 30 DMB shows in 12 years and this was nearly the best if not the best. Amazing set list! Look at the first 5 songs to start the show. Right there I already died and went to heaven and the rest of the show only got hotter. Get a bootleg of this one if you can.

Amazing opener with last stop, one of this years finest set list. No complaints, awesome show, DMB has a blast Playing at shoreline, revenge of the tall people as they were all seating in front of me and my Fiance. Seek up was rad, wishing only for Haloween!

Been a while since I went to see these guys, and they are certainly charging! Everything sounded heavy, with a much louder and more aggressive tone. Timmy really gives them more options...even softer tunes like Stay or Leave sounded more Rockin! Seek Up was unreal.....they are absolutely killing it right now. Glad I got one in this year.

First DMB show. Best live band I've heard. Last Stop is a great opener and long Two Step with CB drum solo stands as my favorite closer having now been to 4 shows as of 2015. Only the second time Blackjack was played live. DM-"What was that?...That was Blackjack!" 22,000 people go nuts! Great show, decent venue.
