This was one of the best shows Ive seen. Although one band member wasn't present, he was there in spirit, and it definitely showed. It was great to be the first to hear two of the new songs live, and the band was spot on all over. Jeff is doing a phenomenal job trying to fill some huge shoes, and timmy was great as always. Did anyone else see Boyds motorhead T-shirt. Love that. Great job guys. Keep up the good work.

Great show. I was there both nights in Hartford and night 2 was definately the better of the 2. Only reason not a 5 was the crowd was pretty weak with and sing alongs both nights (ex. crush, Jimi thing, ants, everyday)

Of the six shows that I have been to in my lifetime this was the best yet. Though I wanted shake me as the opener Funny the way it is sounded good. I love Lying in the Hands of God and feel privilaged to be the first to hear it live. I was not a huge fan of You and Me on the album but when you are sitting there live and have a girl next to you it sounds real good. Jimi Thing rocked!!! Crowed sang the first verse and then instead of the "for what its worth" interpolation Dave did this funky "come on mother fucker shake that ass" which was sick dancing!
Of the three 41's ive heard and all the ones Ive heard on live trax this 41 is the best. Stay or leave was a perfect surprise. Two step and carter's solo always a blast. Love squirm and Time Bomb Into watchtower was Adrenalating!!! sick show the tour is rockin.
Little side notes. Dave talked about the moon as it came out into view. Then half way through the set he made the entire crowd yell "ding dong" like 3 times and said "now thats funny"

great show 12th row.. Lying in the hands of God was awesome! great ending jam to the song. All of the new songs on the record were outstanding. Burning Down the House was the only song I personally would have scratched lol. I would have liked to hear Rye Whiskey but i am the idiot that didnt go to night 1!! Encore: Time Bomb, Watchtower. amazing encore. to me those two songs are both Finales.

Amazing show! Haven't been to many Dave shows yet but this was by far the best. #41, Jimi Thing, Two Step, and All Along The Watchtower were huge standouts, and were brilliantly performed and I don't think I'll ever forget some of the solos, especially Carter's on Two Step. The best show I've ever seen, period.

This was a great show from start to finish. An almost flawless setlist with a great mix of new and old. The highlights were def. the two step drum solo by Carter and the jams on jimi thing and #41. I suggest anyone who wants to hear a good drum solo get this show just for Carter on two step. Timebomb in the first encore spot was great too and I can see them doing more of that in the future with that song.

Didn't think they could have more energy this night but again they outdid themselves. Awesome setlist, pig was a nice surprise and got to hear 2 of the new songs for the 1st time live, lying in the hands of God and You and Me (both great!). #41 was crazy good and Carter brought down the house during Two Step, one of the best versions I've ever heard in my 20+ shows. One of my top 5 concerts for sure.

Best show I've seen yet this summer. I didn't think Carter could top his Two Step solo from MSG but he did tonight. Jeff again playing to saxophones at once on Jimi Thing was crazy. Lying in the Hands of God sounded good live for the first time. Overall a great show. Also, does anyone else think it would be cool to break out into Moby Dick as an outro after Carter's Two Step solo. Not sure how smooth that would be, but I keep thinking of that song every time I hear that solo.

My 79th show, and it reminded me of the first time I saw them in Philly in '96, also with TR on lead guitar. The band's energy level and good will toward each other was beyond belief. Roi's death (RIP) seems to have brought the guys together like the "old days." They have been heading in that direction in the last couple of years anyway, but the loss of Roi has focused them onto what they do best--make incredible music together. Keep shakin' those asses, you sexy motherfuckers!

Incredible, 6th show annd definantly my favorite so far. I can't believe I finally saw pig, I love that song. Laying in the Hands of God was incredible and so was You and Me. Ive never seen Dave so rediculous as he was onJimi Thing "Sexy mother fucker Shakin dat ass, shakin dat ass, shakin dat ass." And of course just to top it off the some of the most insane versions of 41 and two step. I was thrilled to finally see watchtower close a show too, that Stairway to Heaven interpolation is awesome

The band seems so excited and tight right now... it's hard to believe they're probably going to get even better as the summer goes on... SPAC should be unreal, wish I was going
Lying in the hands of God and You and Me what a treat... wanted to hear SMLAM or You and Me this weekend and got my wish

DMB's 2nd most visited venue (2nd only to the Gorge - we CT Ants must be doing something right!) has certainly been getting lucky recently, with 2 incredible Night 2s in back to back years (08 and 09). Funny the Way It Is was a surprisingly a really nice, fitting opener. The show was heavy on Big Whiskey tunes, accordingly (the album DID just come out three days before), including some live debuts - You & Me and LITHOG with a really lovely sax playout. I don't care how many times they've done it, I'll always get a kick out of the 'Sexy M.F.' outro in Jimi Thing. Burning Down the House was a blast late in the set; Squirm and the first encore Time Bomb were positively explosive. All Along the Watchtower with the Stairway to Heaven interpolation was very nice to close. Perhaps my favorite of the night, though, was a surprising Pig, my first. Overall, it was a really excellent show, definitely one to remember. Should also mention what a silly mood Dave was in all night long. "Hopefully tonight is a RIOT." "Diiiinnnnggggg dooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg."

Great show. The band has more energy this year then any of the past tours i've seen them on. Lying in the Hands of God was awesome to hear, Pig was a fun surprise. 41 was epic, Jeff kept the energy up through his whole solo. Jimi thing was awesome. The BWGK songs sounded great being hightlighted with time bomb fitting perfectly in the E1 spot. But all together the night belonged to Two Step and Carter. I would have paid just for Carter's solo it was the best I've heard and the whole song was absolutely perfect. I was at the spac night 2 show last year and this show was close to that

What an amazing show! All of the new songs sound great live, and the addition of Lying in the Hands of God and You and Me were worth the price of my ticket! #41 and Two Step killed, and All Along the Watchtower has never been better - the addition of the horn section imitating Robert Plant's outro vocals on Stairway to Heaven is a wild evolution on the song!
