Great energy, especially during the cover songs..it seemed like they were really fun for the band as a break from their own music. of couse tim was amazing and compliments the music perfecly. Great show with a well chosen second night setlist.

So much energy, but not as great a setlist as many this tour. Jam on Crush was awesome, mostly thanks to Jeff Coffin. Too Much tease coming out of ASTB was perfect. Dave dance solo in Thank You and the all-band Gravedigger were great, but Sister was a little less emotional than we're used to hearing.

This was my 6th show, and it was awesome. However, after Night 1, this show was a bit of a let down not setlist wise, but in their playing ability. Felt that bound, until Crush, lacked his normal energy and fire in his solos, and there were quite of few noticeable hiccups (especially on Everyday). Crush easily stole the whole weekend as Jeff and Tim literally took this song to a whole new level with competing solos.

What a wicked set list! Match that with Dave's performance ranging from spacy and forgetting lyrics to a few songs near the beginning, but redeeming himself by really losing himself in the show and letting it show on stage. He was really into the crowd and venue, and it showed. An amazing performance coupled with a great crowd= a night to remember.

It had been way too long for myself and my brother-in-law. 6 embarrassing years. But we made it back just in time.

Obviously, to us, it was the best show we have ever seen. Which you would think would be hard pressed with all the anticipation of finally getting back in the mix. The energy was top notch and Dave hasn't lost a step in all these years.
Tim basically had me picking my jaw up off the concourse and Carter gave his usual greatness.

A Toast to a great experience and the thrill of anticipating seeing them again real soon.
Awesome!

Great jams, but a short main set compared to the previous night. Seek Up and Ants Marching really got the crowd excited, but Rhyme & Reason and Lie In Our Graves were the real gems. Dave removing his microphone to dance and sing during the encore of Thank You was very fresh and entertaining, showing a younger-acting DMB feel. Incredible weekend

So after spending the first night rocking my socks off, I had no idea what to expect for N2- except excellence. And I was NOT disappointed at all! this was THE BEST show I have ever been to! I heard EVERY song that I wanted to this weekend. No repeats- tons of energy, and Gravedigger brought tears to my eyes. The tease of Too Much into Ants was crazy- everyone around me was shaking their heads with "OMG" all they could say. Seeing Dave dance around and pumping his arms up from sheer energy from the crowd got everyone going even more. You could tell Dave loves DC! The tradition still runs strong- N2 is always better!

One of my all time favorite shows. Awesome setlist.

Seek up - OSW - Granny just blew my mind...

PNP - Repunzel is an all time fav of mine

First WWYS of the tour was really awesome.

Rhyme and Reason was super energetic

Crush was the highlight of the show. Best Timmy/Jeff Coffin battle. 17 fricken mintues long

I love Deer Creek. Will drive from Michigan again no problem.

This was a good show, but N1 was definitely better. The band looks like they are having a lot of fun on stage. Jeff Coffin was great tonight (Grey Street and Money were highlights). Boyd was terrific, as usual, on LIOG. Carter was solid, but didn't get to show off at the end of Seek Up (which was a short version).

My predicition: two nights at Deer Creek will once again prove to be better than the two nights at Alpine.

Again, another great show. No repeats (except for ASTB, but I don't count that since it went into the Too Much (tease)>>Ants Marching ala LT 11) not even a Corn Bread repeat! Loved my seats and everything about the show. However, I have come to realize that I am a drunk magnet. The most obnoxious drunks seem to find an empty seat next to me and want to become my friend!

Very solid show. The encore was much better than night 1, but the main set was shorter and weaker than the previous night. I was happy to see Rhyme and Reason and the jam during LIOG was very nice. Crash was good as always and I love hearing that live. Money and That's What I Want really rocked and took the show to another level going into the end of the set. The ASTB (Too Much tease) was a complete surprise and caught the entire place off guard going into Ants Marching. It caught a lot of high fives and "They never do this" lines. Thank You was very energetic and solid as it has been all tour. Dave putting on the hat and the sunglasses at the end took the energy up even higher than I imagined and was absolutely hilarious. Very solid show, very Deer Creek worthy...great crowd...overall very good show, but I have seen better from DMB (N2 Deer Creek in 2007).

Quality show for Night Two. I was lucky enough to sit next to some knowledgeable DMB fans out in the glorious lawn, so that always makes for a good good time. On to the setlist...

Seek Up was good to get everyone into the swing of things. All in all, the first four songs fit that bill and got the crowd going. The LIOG jam was superior, but following up with Money and Money That's What I Want was near perfect. The older crowd nearby was going crazy, while the youngin's just realized they needed to upgrade their musical library ;) Very pleased with Crush. The three chord tease of Too Much, then breaking into Ants? Whoa, what a sucker punch. Well played, sir. Encore was alright. Full band Gravedigger always sounds good, and Thank You brought back memories of Dave & Friends tour.

Left on the wish list was Sugar Will, #27, Jane, and Billies, but it's the little things like that which make me keep coming back! Great stop in Indy, DMB...Thank You!

User: jkrue22

Highlights: Powerful Seek Up jam right off the bat, Coffin on Grey St., Boyd's solo on LIOG, first time seeing Money covers and they were great, unreal version of Crush with Tim and Coffin outdueling each other, Too Much fakeout after ASTB into Ants, Dave's crazy dancing in costume and enthusiastic crowd reception for Thank You

Lowlights: ODH and OOMH midset buzzkills, another "weak" (unoriginal?) encore, crowd did not seem as enthusiastic as N1

Overall it was another amazing night at Deer Creek, though it felt more like a N1 with a radio-friendly set (WWYS, Crash, Crush, Grey St., Everyday, Ants, etc.). Unfortunately Tim's skills seemed underutilized tonight (with the exceptions of R&R and Crush) and I thought we'd get a few more rarities or TDs after the soundcheck. Sugar Will, Shotgun, Jane, Stone, Bartender, of course Last Stop - 1 or 2 of those would have taken this set to another level. Guess we'll have to wait til next week!

My 16th show. Got to hear my two favorites - Crush and Crash together. The Too Much tease totally fooled me, even though they played the whole song the night before! In determining which night was better, I think Dave's dancing during 'Thank You' puts Night 2 slightly ahead. Between the ballcap, the glasses and another cap?, he was hilarious. These guys always keep me on my toes.

The enthusiam from the crowd was great. It started off a little slow, but the two covers in the middle and the Thank You cover really hyped up the crowd. I looked at the playlist from Friday and am a little jealous, but left this show as satisfied as I have been in years with a Dave show. The band seems to have a little more giddy-up this time around. Cant wait for the Lousiville show.

i agree with a previous poster that the energy wasn't as high as night 1, but I still think this was a great show. I was really excited to hear One Sweet World and Rhyme as they were 2 songs that I was craving going into the tour since I hadn't heard them live yet and they didn't disappoint. The performance of Crush was quite possibly the best performance of a song I have heard from this band live, jeff and tim were nuts on this. Other highlights for me included Seek Up, Granny, Grey Street, Rapunzel (heckuva jam), What Would You say, Ants, and Sister since my sister was there with me at the show...awesome weekend!!

it could be argued which night was better, so i'll just say they were both amazing..

A lot of people are lucky to be able to go to multiple shows throughout the year, including myself. Some of these people complain about repeats and such, rightfully so in some cases. Just keep in mind the shakeup this band has endured this year..i'm assuming they're working with a limited songlist until Jeff gets a little more used to some songs(which I think he had done an amazing job considering the shoes he's filling)..remember in 15 years you might be wishing they'd bust out Sledgehammer, or Money..so be grateful your experiencing the most amazing live band of our time, even if they do play 2 much every other night ;)

god bless the Dave Matthews Band!!!!

This show was one of the best I have EVER seen! Dave was so wound up and the set list kicked ass. My only complaint is the crowd. Sometimes the crowd sucks soooo bad. (I have talk to lots of people who won't go to DMB shows because of the crowd!!) The drunk next to me spilled beer on me twice, intentionlly poured beer on the feet of the girls in front of us (while unknowingly soaking her own purse!! Serves her right), and then passed out in her seat. Well, not her seat but MY seat. The crowd spends more time trying to get one row closer that they miss the whole show. It's very distracting to those of us that are there to hear and enjoy great music. We don't all go to shows to get f'ed up, fall, and step on everyone else's toes. One kudos though the female security guard who was totally on top of her game. Everything was fine until they moved her away from us!

All of that aside Dave and boys put on a great show!

Once again Jeff Coffin added some excellent sax throughout the set. Money and Thank You were great...at this point I'd rather hear some other tracks deeper in the bands catalog.

Top tracks from the show:

Grey Street

The Hoosier state represented well and everyone was having an awesome night. Thank You DMB!

Another fantastic night. Better seats than last night when we were in Section D. Made some more new friends, all of whom seemed impressed we had come all the way from Scotland just for the shows! Sore heads for the flight out very early the next morning but well worth it. LA last year, Deer Creek this year - who knows where for next year, can hardly wait! Hopefully some European dates before we return to the States.
