Fantastic show with lots of energy tonight! The set was just fun from start to finish!! I am glad I came down from Boston to see the boys at it again! There is nothing like a DMB show and there is nothing like a DMB show in the tri-state area!! Can't wait for next summer...c-you all then!

the show was awsome. hands down, major highlights were black water outro to GIG, grey st. good jam on 41, awsome jimi thing, followed by RR sitting in on Watchtower...amazing. first time for Round and Round. and then of course when everone was leaving at the end of too much, they go right into ants. I think it was gonna be halloween right before ASTB, that drum solo by carter WAS halloween. but stephan went into ASTB. So after too much, i think carter went right into Ants snare drum because he wasnt going to let the set end with too much. but who knows. also loved OSW opener, YMDT was pretty tight Corn bread is rockin, Eh hee and 27 are...alright, and Dreaming Tree was good, woulda been even better if it was five minutes shorter. I guess i just didnt have to wait long enough to hear it. LB, seems i hear it every time i go. But they do rock out on it. Warehouse was awsome. dave loved the fact that the crowd was so loud signing the Louie Louie, and thats why he didnt sing it, the crowd was so loud. i thought it was going to close the set. Then Stay came which kinda always ends sets haha. Id rather hear Gravedigger then sister haha. Five Song Encore, ill take that. 3 hours of wonderful music. cant wait for the summer

My 17th Show: Not too shabby. Def not the best I've seen, but def not the worst either. Highlights were hands down #41, Dreaming Tree & Watchtower. I'm also a huge sucker for Grace Is Gone, so I thoroughly enjoyed that. Other things I'd point out are (1) how much better Die Trying is live. Like a totally different song. (2) Why does the crowd use the new stuff for bathroom breaks? (especially Dream So Real) THey can't road test this stuff if no one's listening. At least give it a chance. I think Corn Bread & Eh Hee are fantastic. (3) Energy was lackin', which I think kept from rating this as a "great" show. I think this show looks a lot better on paper. The setlist was solid but the crowd wasn't as into it as they could've been I thought. You'd think after a few weeks off, they'd come out absolutely pumped. Too slow of a start sometimes is not best. But oh well, I don't want to be one to complain about a DMB show. The countdown to summer officially begins.

One of the worst shows i went to , security was beat, and the show was so hyped up for being the last leg of the tour and they played alot of new stuff and the encore was probably the worst in history. i expected alot better watchtower, 41 and warehouse were great but expected

Beautiful day, drove up from the DC area and arrived at the Meadowlands around 5 as night began to fall over NYC...lots of construction around the arena to prevent any good views of the city while tailgating, weather was cool but great by November standards.
DMB came on around 8:20 and for the umteenth time opened up with
One Sweet World....out to the beer lines, thats my personal protest for always getting this song as an opener.
You Might die trying...I like the song, kinda lacked energy, was this Nissan 07 all over again
Grace Is Gone...OK we are getting somewhere, never heard Blackwater looped on the end, this was great and all way to the end of Grey St was probably the high-point/peak of this show.
CornBread...great energy after a hoe-down to Blackwater, Cornbread is a fun song to get ya on your toes.
Ehh Hee...Liked this as well, raw DMB at its best, great spot..
Grey ST...never tire of this...Rashawn takes this song to another level, I was blown away and zoned in to his musicianship
Dream So Real...1st time hearing this live, kinda slow...it will probably grow on me though.
#41 ...E Krasno was great on this version
Bayou.....nooooooo sick of it!!!
Dreaming Tree...Amazing and Beautiful and evreything in between...1st time heard live since Nissan 99 for me....This song is captivating...worth the price of your ticket.
Jimi Thing....ahhhh Ok...I was still in the tree from before
Watchtower...Nice spot here, Randolph makes this a better then average watchtower...good guest spot.
#27...I didn't even know what they were playing, not too familiar with this one..Tape please
Warehouse..high energy...long jam this was great
Stay...too many times heard as a closer...put this one away.
Round and round...sounded great, I liked the lyrics, the dave speak...good stuff..a song of its own from what i heard of it
Gravedigger...umm ok. nothing outta the usual on this version..
ASTB...long funked out version...this was good
Too much > Ants...I guess I am too picky, I would have preferred a diff encore, These two songs just remind me how DMB has to appeal to the masses and why they would'nt play something bold and new.
Its just DMB being DMB and playing the same thing over and over again...its the difference between a blockbuster show and an average show...take away the Blackwater, Rashawn, Krasno, and Randolph and thats what you get, with that being said and some amazing moments (dreaming tree)along the way....this show clocks in at about 7.8 / 10 on my scale, I think I'm being a bit tough on em though...

this show was ok. it looks decent on paper bu there was nothing there that got me terribly excited. really thought we were going to hear halloween during the encore but stefan kicked in astb. i agree with taylormade in his comments. it didnt seem like that was supposed to be too much. speaking of which, that slow break down needs to go. it is really sloppy and seems like nothing is happening at the show at all. sll in all a fun night but could have been better. guess i will see them in a while.

This was my favorite of the 5 shows I've been to so far. The band looked wasted when they got on stage and it showed in their music (Dave messed up some lyrics on OSW) -- but I didn't even mind because that just added to the craziness of the night. Loved hearing my two favorite new songs (Corn Bread and Eh Hee)... #41 rocked with Soulive's Kras on stage... The Dreaming Tree was my first live and it didn't disappoint -- loved LeRoi's 'Chocolate Rain' interpolation... Jimi Thing, #27, and Warehouse were all incredibly energetic and solid... the Linus and Lucy interpolation during Warehouse was another treat (and Boyd with that cowbell was hilarious)... the mid-set Watchtower with Robert Randolph was sick -- much better than the last time I heard DMB play this song with Robert Randolph in fact... and of course one of my favorite moments was the interpolation of For What It's Worth during Jimi Thing... opening with One Sweet World and closing with Stay were safe choices but they played the hell out of OSW and followed it up with an incredibly strong You Might Die Trying. Stay was a little too short for me but the overall set was pretty long so I didn't mind. The FOUR SONG ENCORE (five?) was completely off the charts... Too Much rocked as always and Ants Marching made me feel like we were back in the 90s again. Hearing a new Dave solo song to open the encore (Round and Round) for the first time ever was another memorable moment. Overall I don't think the crowd was ever disappointed except for when Dave played Gravedigger during the encore and A Dream So Real at the set's midpoint, but Dave mentioned that his son loves that one so I'll let it slide. Good crowd compared to some other shows I've been to, and Izod is a much better venue than I expected. What an amazing show...

A slightly predictable set but all the songs kept the crowd happy. ADSR is a nice song but is tough in a live setting, E1 wouldn't be a bad place for it. Eric Krasno added some great fills on 41 and just added to the song as a whole. Randolph was fantastic on Watchtower, which was shorter than most versions I felt. Warehouse was a nice surprise.
And Halloween not being Halloween was a buzzkill.

RR sitting in on watchtower blew me away and the crowd singing Louie, Louie in warehouse was awesome. first time hearing 41 live so that was a real treat. really thought carter was gonna go into Halloween with the beginning of his drum solo and really wish he had cause that would have made my night. good finish with AM and dave letting the crowd sing. overall good show

Although it seems like a TON of people disagree, tonight's show was def awesome! The band looked like they were having a TON of fun up there, which def carries over into the crowd. So no, I don't think them f-n up on any of the songs was noticeable in the slightest. Afterall, they're jazz inspired jam-band; hence, they're shows are based on improvisation. That's why we all love them and are able to see them 10...20...100 times; it's a new show every night.

i'll back up taylormade on the fact that leroi had the soprano sax out (it's the bari sax for ASTB and Too Much) during carter's drum solo in the encore. and a whole group of us in section 6 started going nuts all at the same time for halloween... dmbalamanc usually finds a setlist to scan, so take a look in a couple of days if you're really curious. BUT!!! the show was fantastic, and the only reason dave flubbed some lyrics (OSW, bayou, ants) was because he was having so much damn fun on stage - and that's one of the things that makes this band so incredible, is that they have a blast when they're up on stage. aside from a few lyrics, the band was strong as hell. easily top 5 of my 28.

I love hearing YMDT live – it’s got a funky groove and the horns at the end rock! And after GIG, I flipped out singing along to the Doobie Brothers!!! The OSW opener was a nice touch, and it tied-in to the Round and Round ...> Gravedigger opening to the encore. Also, I think A Dream So Real and The Dreaming Tree were beautiful in the middle of the set, even though many people sat or used them for a bathroom or beer break. When #41 started after ADSR I was so elated! Always my favourite live song, and Eric Krasno absolutely killed his solo.
It was my very first live DT, and I think it was a well-performed rendition. Then came Jimi Thing - AATW - #27 – Warehouse. OMG! The energy was so high here and all of us went completely nuts. I would hear a few notes and call a song, and then there it was! Jimi Thing was Ree-Diculous - the jam with Robert Randolph was insane, Butch was scatting again, and we got the Buffalo Springfield outro. The band kept playing and jamming and it felt like we were there forever, all of us dancing and grinning like Cheshire Cats, finally singing “Louie, Louie!”
I had no idea what we would get for the encore, but after the first set I knew it was gonna be a long night. I never expected a FIVE song encore, though! (three plus the short Round & Round and ASTB). I had called Halloween, even though my friend wanted Two Step, and I really thought we would get it, but then came ASTB ...> Too Much. Initially I was disappointed, but it was a great performance and a lot of fun (we all screamed “I told, God, I'm coming
to your country!”). The bonus Ants Marching was a great way to end the night.
Yes, some lyrics got flubbed, we didn’t hear many old-school rare gems, and we didn’t get Halloween to close out the night. Totally agree with Jfullam. The energy was HIGH and musically the band absolutely rocked for 3 hours. It’s the rainy fall but DMB captured all the fun of a summer night and served it up tight! Without a doubt in my Top 5 DMB concerts – I couldn’t have asked for much more for my 20th show. Plus we got really lucky with the people in Section 107 - what a great vibe and a Good, Good Time. :)

Loved the setlist, band wasn't as tight as they usually are. Dreaming Tree was a nice treat for me. although it seemed like a mass exodus to the bathrooms as the jam progressed??? I also have to say I was blown away at the amount of trash in the parking lot after the show! Holy shnookies! Doesn't anyone feel the need to pick up after the party?? Pretty lame setlist. Dreaming Tree was great. They rarely play a great setlist in the nyc area. It's always the standard stuff...Warehouse, Too Much, Ants, LB, One Sweet...We've waited all summer/fall to see dmb, and THIS IS OUR SETLIST! LAME. No LIOG, no Halloween, no Rapunzel, no gems that they've performed throughout the 2007 tour except Dreaming Tree and #41. A night w/ DMB is better than a night without DMB, but I'm getting sick of the lame setlists when they come to NY/NJ.

All in all a good show. I was expecting a lot more since this was the only "Public Show" left in 2007. We knew Watchtower was coming with Robert Randolph, #41 with Eric Krasno was a great jam. HIGHLIGHT of the night.. A FULL DREAMING TREE! The one huge gripe I have about this show is the Encore. When Dave said, "This is my friend Carter Beauford on the drums." One would think Halloween, and they did in fact begin Halloween (as TaylorMade says) and then it looked like it was a chinese firedrill to get into ASTB. But as DMB was playing, I cannot complain.

Great set list... crowd kind of sucked though, lots of sitting and no one was really into it. The watchtower was unbelievable and they just kept playing forever!

Let's start off by saying New Jersey do something about that funky smell. Decent set list this has been my 17th show of 2007 not the best and not the worst. Hey fans from Jersey Dave and the boys have more songs than Grey St, Crash and Trippin Billies, so if they don't play those tunes don't be disappointed you fucking losers. YMDT is always sweet to hear, Watchtower w/ RR was sweet and Dreaming Tree always rocks. Round & Round was pretty sweet let's see if he makes it longer. Kind of disappointed Dave said in an interview in early 07' he would break out the Last Stop, didn't do it once. Carter the little Halloween tease was sweet. Some girl from N.J. sitting next to me wanted to know if Black Water was a new tune. Travelled all the way from Illinois for the night. All in all not to bad. Hey Dave whatever happened to Good Good Time, Spoon, Wynona Sugar Will put those in 2008. See ya all next Summer. Hopefully Vegas Early 08.

Got seats right in front of the sound and lighting board and met Fenton after the show. He was pretty cool. Band sounded good and I loved the Black Water jam after Grace Is Gone.

Worst show I've ever been to. There were so many f ups. It had nothing to do with the setlist, which was quite alright. They were just all over the place. Given, they hadn't played since early Oct, but they were incredibly off. And I was sitting 13th row - dead center. Don't mean to sound ungrateful. I believe ASTB was supposed to be Halloween, but Stefan dropped the ASTB bassline during Carter's intro. Leroi wasn't even holding the right sax and looked shocked. Can anyone back me up here?

This show was a blast! Grace>Black Water was the highlight for me. Not a fan of Dream So Real but glad I heard it at least once. Warehouse and #41 were top-notch but Watchtower with Randolph was the highlight for me!! Showed Ended with a 5 song encore and I was happy. Great show!

Warehouse screwed us on tickets.....we were soooo far away. Pretty good set, I was a little disappointed that the energy just wasn't quite 100%. My first indoor show, which was nice. Got lost in the Bronx on the way there, which was sort of fun haha.

Any show with #41 and Dreaming Tree is a hit with me. And the fact that I was in Hollywood and thought that was my last show, but still got one more six weeks later is nothing but a bonus. What a fantastic birhtday gift! It was a fun and different summer, I hope you all enjoyed it. See you in 08 with a new album......

and finally, at my 22nd show...Dreaming Tree! very tight, even though most people sat down as soon as they heard the opening notes. Contrary to others, I think this concert looks like a "4" on paper, but it was more like an "8" live. Dave messed up an entire verse in OSW and completely mailed-in grey street, LB, watchtower, and warehouse - no doubt. But I thought the performances of jimi thing, stay (i can't believe i just listed those two first), #41, eyhee, and dreaming tree MORE than made up for it. first time hearing #27, nice. i don't think dave's voice has many more tours in store for us, he gulps tea or whatever between every song. rashawn ross has found his place, he accents here, he does backup vocals there...nice.
