Wow, what a high energy set. The band came out on the mellow side in my opinion and then just worked the energy level up from there. The new songs from this tour sounded great and the Nancies/Warehouse jam was off the hook! We were able to hear the original version start to Warehouse as well as the "stop-time-intro" version, all in one tune.
By the time Trippin Billies was done the band and the crowd seemed to be a feverent level. I love the line from Dave before Trippin Billies where he thanks the crowd and then says that it seems he is from the "Deparment of Redundency Department", obviously due to the number of times that he is so gracious enough to thank us for coming. We need to thank him...if only we could. I guess we get the opportunity through cheering for the band.
I'd rate this show pretty high on the list of shows I have been to. About my 20th or so and definently top 5. Great Shotgun and Grey Street. Hell, they were all good in my eyes and ears. I didn't sit down the whole show so that should tell you something.
See ya'all up in Hollywood at the Bowl. I'll be there both nights. Peace out! BTW, how abouta Dreaming Tree this 2 night stand? It would be sweet.

Show was my first DMB concert ever. It was awesome to see them live, I think there was a little less energy than I've seen online or have heard about. Makes sense it was towards the end of the tour. Awesome nonetheless!!

stupid traffic. i was late. oi. but made it for the tail end of grey street. it was a fun show. songs that i thought were exceptional: you never know. just a great, well composed song. eh hee, probly my favorite new song. i like how they put the dancers on the screen, makes a connection to the video. you might die trying was good they picked up the last half of the song. Stand Up with Joe Lawlor, dave mentioned somthing about the crew just before. is he a part of the dmb crew? but he was really good on the ending of that song took it to a new level. i like how they changed up typical situation although it was a little repetative-that beat is kind of difficult to dance to haha. during boyds solo of tripping billies everyone in my section started jumping, it took a while but dave noticed, and you could tell he enjoys it when the crowd moves. one thing- the sound. it didnt seem up to par. i was in the left orchestra and i could barely make out any of the horn solos. i think that they should definatly turn up stefan. also, when the guys sing back up you can barely hear it. i dont know though they probly have good reasons. despite this i had a really good time.

Show definately had some good parts of the set, but didn't think it flowed as well as a DMB show could (compared to shows where we were up dancing from start to finish). Enjoy the new stuff--some better than others. 'Twas an enjoyable evening all the same.

Great show, granny, ynk, nancies and typical situation were definitely the highlights of the night. SU with Joe Lawlor was really good too. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do this summer.

I was the guy in the preferred seating section of the lawn with the camo shorts dancing like a maniac the whole show.
I actually pulled a muscle.
Anyone else in that area of the lawn?
My 28th Show.
I threw my back out dancing; I didn't sit down once.
Glad to hear Stand Up; MUCH better live, and the jam was killer.
LOVE LOVE LOVE that they went back to the album for Warehouse. Missed that intro, and it's nice they still got the Woo's out of the crowd.
Solid show.

Loved the show and energy, the security was a little rough around the edges but as always the band was fabulous! Sugar Will and You Might Die Trying were two of the hot ones for the night!

Another excellent show by Dave and the guys. Many of the highlights have already been mentioned - Stand up was phenomenol, Tripping incredible, Dancing Nancies - awesome. Hate to upset some of the other posters who complained of traffic problems - but my wife and I drove in from Phoenix and it only took us 5 hours to get there. Wonderful evening - Great people! Thanks Dave!!!!!

I thought this was a great show! Granny opening was sweet. Shotgun and You Might Die Trying sounded cool. I can't believe they broke off Typical Situation into a completely different jam...classic Dave. I have to disagree with some of the previous reviews..I thought the sound was good and crowd wasn't all that into it. Maybe it was because I was up in the lawn. Traffic was terrible!! All in all a great night.

Good show. Crowd energy seemed low. YMDT is a pretty slammin song. Traffic coming into the venue was a joke. Will call was a bigger joke.

Very cool version of typical situation - Dave just sang a bit of the verse and it turned into a great jam - Dancing Nancies was a joy, and I think dave might have messed up the lyrics to gravedigger - all in all, great night, great show.

Of all the shows i have been to, which isnt to many (now 7) this was the most up tempo and exciting show ever. No weakness in the setlist. I never stopped dancing. I am still in amazement over this show. And since i can barely move my back and neck im guessing i never stopped dancing. I honestly cannot pick out my favorite point of the show. Unreal!

As I stood at my 28th DMB concert, but first to have native Spanish-speakers sitting around me, I could not help but think how far this band had come. Back in Colorado, DMB is a white, college kids to people-my-age community who enjoy drinking. In Chula, it was much more natural and organic and diverse. Not to say California is perfect... In the end, I think the set reflected that. Granny was a surprise opener. The new songs were great. The energy was awesome. I heard lots of repeats from the Phoenix show, but I blame myself for that. It was still a great time at a great venue with great people. It was my buddy's first show... and with each song he kept saying "these guys are really good." He will be back... and so will I. Hopefully back in Colorado, though.

Granny opener was great!
Cornbread & Eh Hee rocked!
Brought a newbie with me--she was blown away.
Speaking of blown away--SHOTGUN was my favorite song from the show, next to Nancies, Warehouse, and Ants.

I wasn't crazy for the setlist. The Granny opener was very cool. There were alot of songs this summer I'd like to see moth balled. So much of the same set list this year. It got boring and predictable. My seat was awesome and I thought they sounded great despite the setlist.

ROCKIN show! My back and voice are casualties of this show, but what's a little back pain and loss of vocal chords in comparison to an amazing night like this??!! The band kept us all on our toes the ENTIRE show and didn't let up with rocker after rocker. The crowd was awesome too, good energy all around. FUN times.

Traffic was the only bad part of the show (6+ hours from Ventura County). I missed the opener and got in about 1/4 of the way through DDTW. Good news was a killer set. The band and the crowd were into it and it came out as a high-energy show. Highlights were Eh-Hee, #27 (great tune), Die Trying and even though it would have been nice to hear the full song, Typical was a nice treat. They killed Nancies-Warehouse and Joe Lawlor went nuts on Stand Up. One of the better shows I've been to.
