This had many of the songs I would put on my personal playlist. I loved hearing Shotgun, though I didn't like the version played here as much as one I had heard from a 2006 show. Hearing Cornbread every night was kickass!

This was a pretty typical setlist, but on a Saturday night at the Gorge the energy of the crowd boosted it up and made it an unbelievable night! Great seats and great people around us. An awesome time!

OK...not sure about this Dream So real as an opener...maybe this is to let everyone get in and get their seats?? Can't figure this one out at all...but Two Step saved the moment and my goodnes...Loving Wings! WAYG is finding nice spots in the sets and the 5-11 slots of this show were just rocking! The Stone was a nice change of pace before kicking our asses again with a stellar Nancies-->Warehouse, Shotgun, SMTS-->ASTB-->TM closer. Standard encore. Can't wait to see what they bring to the table tomorrow!

Thus far was my second sequential show ever, and as exciting as everyone had made Saturday's show to be didn't completly satisfy the hype everyone had portrayed. Other than that it was fantastic, and having the songs that i had heard before have Robert Randoph tag in on was awesome...

Solely for being my first night at the Gorge. I won\'t ever forget it. The set was a bit stale with the 3rd and 4th song being Loving Wings Where are you Going for 25 minutes, but it was a nice overall night. Enjoyed seeing RR guest with the band again, and just enjoyed being at the venue.

I sure wish "Don't Drink the Water" had been played in full, instead of just a tease.
But it was a good set, sure to satisfy the drunk college kids who typified the usual Saturday night at the Gorge.
Now bring on Sunday night - when magic is afoot!

I've been to 50+ Dave shows, and sorry, this was the worst I've ever seen. In fact, this is the only show I've seen from DMB that I would say was "bad." They honestly seemed tired and worn out. So many slow songs, the show didn't flow nor did it have great energy. A few good songs here and there, but as a show, this one didn't make it for me.

One of the best shows I've seen. PLus, my cousin and I snuck into an empty VIP booth for the whole show. When two other people came to the booth they had actually snuck in too and bought us beers because we were so gracious with "our" booth. Perfect!

My personal weirdest DMB show experience for sure. Got puked on in the very first song, made me cranky but as the setlist went on had a BLAST dancing with my bf, watched a 6'2" guy go timmmmmber!! (dehydration?) which scared me to death, looked over at the end of the show and saw a taper's mics. waving back and forth and my bf (also a taper) had to go break up a fight, then me and my pukey purse ended up backstage where I had to hope no one thought it was me that had puked on it! Goodness! Is DMB really attracting that many douchebags these days or am I just getting old?? Is there a thread about that somewhere?

I like A Dream So Real, but it should not open a show.
Highlights: Two Step Was a very nice rebound. Smooth Rider sounded better with RR. The Stone through Tripping Billies couldn't have been better! The intro to Warehouse was awsome!
Best Part: When Dave stopped playing Sister and told a story about Robert Randolph and Mark Batson in the studio when he was recording the song.

This was the show of a lifetime for us simply because we were blessed by the concert gods with 4th row seats. That blessing continued when we actually arrived to take possession of those seats because a bunch of big dudes were already in them lol. When they urged us to move up to the row ahead we saw it was nearly empty in third row so rather than bitch about ANYTHING that might spoil the vibe, the two of us girls hopped up next to a very cool chick named Krisanna who is great to hang with during a show. What\'s up girl! Hope we run into you again next time.
We loved the setlist..The Stone and Smooth Rider in particular were amazing from so close up. Many grateful thanks to everyone who was even remotely helpful to us when we were waving our sign around (sorry for the periodic inconvenience to the dudes behind us)...but we got dat STICK from da MAN himself! WOOT!!! Big love goes out to the dude who helped me secure the one directed at me...not so big love to the dude who secured and KEPT the stick that Carter clearly meant for my girlfriend. For the record, he wasn\'t pointing at your hairy ass dude...haha =p. Oh well, no hard feelings I suppose. It\'s all good. Had a kickass time so no worries!

Great show, so far the Gorge has totally made up for the debacle at Bristow (well, at least it was in my opinion). I love Robert Randolph, and Smooth Rider was amazing again with him (last year at UVA they did Two Step and Smooth Rider together, if you haven't already, download those shows). The Stone plus the best versions of So Much to Say, Anyone Seen the Bridge, and Too Much I've heard were probably the highlights of this one for me.
I wish they hadn't opened with A Dream So Real followed by Two Step. Two Step is awesome, don't get me wrong, but it belongs 2/3 of the way through the show or in the encore. (or as the opener as a treat like Dreaming Tree was last night)
Overall, a great show, can't wait for tonight (Sunday)!

Un****ingBelievable. Robert Randolph on Smooth Rider was absolutely Rocking. They took that song to another plane. (And Carter is just not human) The new stuff is awesome, with Corn Bread being my favorite, although #27 and Eh Hee are great as well. Also Dave told a great story about recording Sister. Robert Randolph and his band were in the studio when he was recording it and having a bit of a party. I didn't catch who said it, but after Dave finished (effectively killing the party), one of the members said "That song is Gangsta." I have been going to DMB shows for 10 years and seen 20+ shows. I know thats not a ton around these parts, but its enough to say that this band continues to out do itself. Nothing gets old because they are constantly reiventing it. From Tim, to the Lovely Ladies, to Butch, and now Reshawn Ross. Not to many other bands can say that. And the new stuff is top notch. Great, Great, Great SHOW!!!!

This was the best "night 2 at the gorge" show in recent memory! The only reason I give it a 4 is that I feel a 5 is coming night 3. After 66 shows (5 this year), just about every song the boys played was one of the best versions I've heard. Smooth Rider with RR just plain kicked ass. I was concerned before the tour started that the band wasn't "feeling it" this year, since the studio album hasn't seem to crystalize. However, if the new songs are any indication, the band is healthier than ever. The music they are making sounds to me as near perfect as it can get. Of course, the man center stage rear, Carter, is simply the best in the business. He continues to amaze night after night, with his talent and sense of goodwill toward all.

Low Energy. Weak setlist. The songs they did play featured some cool things that have not been experienced before this tour. Dave seemed hammered and sang off key. They let Boyd solo a lot. Too bad. Loving Wings was mind blowing however, and certainly will remain as one of my favorite Dave moments of all time. The musicianship in that tune was truly stunning. Good work Rashawn.

Very good setlist... still not sure about this new song Dream So Real but 2step picked up the crowd as always. SO good to hear Loving Wings here again @ the Gorge [beautiful - not as good as 2002]. #27 all through Warehouse had me floored! Smooth Rider was even more sexy with Robert Randolph. SMTS-ASTB-TM - freaking cool - LOVED the whole Devo homage they had going - hilarious & fun!! Sister - achingly sweet as always & TB always a good finish @ the Gorge!
