Great show with a great setlist with both old and new songs. I am loving how the new songs have progressed since last year and I am looking forward to the new album even more than before the show (if that is even possible). the idea of you and shotgun have become such great songs that it would be a crime not to include them on the new album. Trey was great of course even though he was higher than the entire crowd put together. He just kept starring into space with the same blank smile on his face the entire song. Great show almost makes up for the one night stand I was forced to endure at SPAC with The Dave Matthews Band.

Well, this is gonna be difficult, as words cannot describe how incredible my FIRST DMB show was. I have been a Dave fan for about 5 years, but have really become a fanatic like most of you over the last 2-3. As the band had not stopped in Montreal since 03', I had not seen them yet in show. That all changed when he brought the magic to SPAC for one magnificent night on August 14th. The adrenaline was rushing through my body as I first entered the giant park, and a tear may have even dropped once Dave came on to introduce Toots. I had very good seats with a great perspective of the stage.......now it was time for the grand entrance! PNP-> Rapunzel was a great way to start off the night, the crowd was very into it and it was definitely an amazing way to start off my "career" as a fan. I could only imagine what would follow, and as usual, the band didn't disappoint. After YMDT, Rhyme & Reason filled the place with electricity. Upon hearing the first few strings of Hunger For The Great Light, I looked at my buddy and shrugged. Not my favourite of Dave songs, but similar to the rest of the evening, I refused to sit down or shut up, chanting every word of it. Live debuts like #27 definitely brought some silence upon the crowd, but there were a few die hards singing along with myself and my buddy in section 12. Warehouse with Toots was without a doubt one of the highlights of my evening, and it was capped off beautifully with the Louie Louie outro, which really got the crowd going! IOU was a little hard to follow due to its new lyrics, but still possessed that great core, and full band Cornbread had a ton of folks in the area dancing. My favourite part of the show seems to be consensually agreed upon. The SPAC crowd was electric for all 16 minutes of arguably the best LIOG I've ever heard. The only small blemish was the lack of an outro, but that's only being greedy after a set like this. The crowd was part of history in the making, as Some Devil was the first song from Dave's solo album to make a full band debut. A very relaxed The Maker followed, the black and white screens at SPAC setting the mood beautifully. A vibrant Louisiana Bayou followed, with Boyd really getting into it. Shotgun's new lyrics were beautiful, arguably the best I've ever heard, and Crush got the "regulars" in the crowd back into the show after a bulk of new stuff. I was overjoyed to hear Sweet Up And Down, a song which I figured would be played after recently coming back; however I was really surprised at the lack of people singing it! Cool intro to ASB, which went directly into Too Much, before the band closed with Stay, which pleased the majority of the crowd. As I ran to the middle of the lawn for the encore, I could hear chants of "Two Step", "Pig", and "Last Stop" coming from the crowd in the pitch black. Dave and his guitar performed a beautiful rendition of Gravedigger, followed by an electric AB Intro. As the 11:00 curfew rolled around, we had time for one last song. Upon hearing Stefan, I knew I would get to leave on a great note with Watchtower. I thought Butch did a great job kicking in on it, and it was a wonderful day to end one of the best nights of my life. I will never forget SPAC 07, and I can't wait to see the boys again! Thanks!!!

Another great Show at SPAC!! Setlist was pretty standard for what has been being played this year but the energy was off the charts. The band was really firing on all cylinders and I cant remember the last time I saw Dave so on point. I thought Trey would be there but didnt know if he'd play or not. The only reason it was to be expected was because he has that court order that wont allow him to leave the area and he hasnt been able to play in a while because of it. I guess that's what happens when you get pulled over with enough drugs to kill a horse! No real disappointments for me in this show. Two Step chants suck, but they didnt seem as bad this year... Dave telling the crowd how much he loves coming to Saratoga was sweet! Really fired everyone up. If this isnt a Live TRAX release I dont what the hell is. Probably ONE OF the best shows I have seen at SPAC in my 7 years there. Cant wait to see if he can top it at the Gorge in a couple weeks!!!

Seemed like the band was having a lot of fun. Not my favorite songs, but the new songs were awesome to see. I liked it a lot because I only went to 1 show this tour... if I'd gone to multiple, I probably would have been bored. As I said the newer songs were the highlight (#27, Shotgun, Idea Of You), at least for me. "Sweet Up And Down" was awesome... and of course, Trey made the night special. I should have realized he'd be there.... I'd heard a week earlier that he was living in Saratoga. Good time.

Loved this show, better than the first two of the tour in my opinion. Corn Bread and #27 have turned into great songs, Trey sat in on Lie In Our Graves and Dave dedicated Some Devil to him afterwards, Some Devil sounds great with the whole band. And how lucky to hear Sweet Up and Down and Shotgun as well? I love what they've done with Shotgun, but where is Break Free, Sugar Will or Kill The King? American Baby Intro and Watchtower are so powerful, its been a while since I've seen an encore like that, I wish they'd end every show with such energy. I could never get enough of ABI, Dave screaming at the top of his lungs, shaking while doing so puts me in a different world.

Wow, what a great night. The weather was superb and couldnt of been more perfect. It was my first DMB concert so all this was new for me. when dave came out to introduce toots, ive never heard such a roar from any crowd. it was awesome. Toots in my opionn was alright.. when the band came out...somewhere around 830ish...the crowd went nuts. as did i. my seats were on the lawn.. but we were all the way up on the railing so it wasnt too bad of a seat. PNP-> Rapunzel...WOW..what an opener.. YMDT...amazing...and rhmye and reason was killer. New song cornbread blew my mind as did warehosue with toots. LIOG with trey was absoultey spectacular. With no reprise?..hm...the make and shotgun were sweet...and it was really cool hearing some devil full band..sweet up and down was solid..and too much and bridge were absoultley stellar...Gravedigger was cool for an encore really set the mood...ABI into watchtower....FREAKING OWNED....dave lookeds like his head was gonna explode on ABI...my mouth dropped to the floor...AMAZING CONCERT.....june20-21 2008...gonna rock!

-Had AMAZING seats, front row balcony. Great view, can't get much better, except orchestra
-Rapunzel to open! WAY COOL!!
-TREY!!! Couldn't believe when he walked out, crowd went absolutely nuts; must say I was the first in my area to notice and start screaming.
-Never finished LIOG, kind of a bummer but historic.
-Toots was really great on Warehouse, I've never seen Dave smile so much during a song, like a little kid, and the dancing! Toots starting to get down then I actually saw David J. Matthews shake his butt! Not like his normal funky feet dance, but actually shake that thang! Incredible.
-Had perfect view of Dave's footwork, one of my favorite parts of a live show
-Saw some guys down near the buses before the show: Butch, Carter, Boyd, and Dave twice! It was really freakin cool because only the people on the balcony can see them, and not many were paying attention-but we kept our eyes on that area, barely enjoyed Toots (which is kind of a regret, seeing how great he was on WH)
-ABI-->Watchtower for the end of encore, pretty great.
-Jimi Thing was great
-The show was just average, not counting the guests, too predictable and similar to the other 8 shows before.
-Disappointed Boyd didn't get any amazing solos, I love to watch him go nuts on the violin.
-Butch waved to the crowd when the show was over! I've never seen him do that; Carter gave out some drum sticks before he left the stage at the end of the main set-never seen that either.
-Have to add, a 20 oz. bottle of Aquafina water at SPAC is now $4.00-CRAZZZZY.

Trey Anastasio is alive and seems to be doing well! Hopefully we can see him playin' full time very soon. Great setlist, really enjoyed the new songs especially Cornbread. Loved the bridge out of nowhere and the full band Some Devil. I would have loved to see a Two Step opener. It would have shut all the frat boys up. Made my first trip up to Saratoga Springs for this show, and it most certainly lived up to all the hype. Beautiful scenery, great crowd, and a very unique setup. It was extremely loud the entire show, not only because the crowd was great, but because of the acoustics of the venue. As for the show... Highlights include: a sick PNP>Rapunzel opener (best I've experienced since 8/21/05 at the Gorge), Warehouse with Toots (crowd really got him into it tonight), Full band Some Devil (very nice), Sweet Up and Down, Crush (stefan did the tease at the beginning that got the crowd very excited, awesome), ASTB>Too Much was awesome. I liked how they fired it up this evening, Dave has always been very animated during this Jam, but he really made it interesting last night. A great encore set capped off a great night with Gravedigger (everyone sang along), and a high-powered AB Intro>Watchtower. Without a doubt, the song of the night was Lie In Our Graves. I heard alot of rumors before the show that Trey Anastasio would be comming, but I've heard rumors many times, and not once was there any truth to them until last night. WOW! I haven't heard an ovation for a special guest like that in a very long time. Trey needed no introduction and LIOG was a great song for him to do his thing. He really broke it down late and just fed off the energy created by this unique venue. They didn't even finish the song, because the ovation was so overwhelming for this dude! Now, if Phish would get it going again, that would be something. Great time this evening, been having a blast so far on this early tour. Glad to see people finally warmed up to one of these '07 shows. Well, getting back in the car, and heading down to Virginia Beach with a good number of friends to conclude a great week of DMB shows for me. Should be very interesting as I make my second straight appearance down there. See everyone at the beach in a few hours.

Another Awesome show. Dave's voice was extremely strong and the band was so tight. One of the best versions of Rapunzel that I have ever heard. Rashawn and LeRoi were absolutely tearing it up. But obviously the show's highlight was Trey on LIOG. I kind of missed Boyd's solo, but Trey was on fire near the end of his solo. For some reason though he gave everyone a hug and left the stage right before the song goes back into "And I can't believe...." It seemed like the guys had a good laugh over that. Other highlights: Cornbread and Dave's awesome scats (the crowd went crazy during those), a full band Some Devil which sounded great, a nice, smooth version of The Maker, Sweet Up and Down!!!!, the tour debut of Rhyme & Reason, my first Shotgun, and ASTB --> Too Much. Another great show at SPAC.

Wonderful show with some great memories. My first Rhyme and Reason was amazing and Trey KILLED graves with kick-ass solos. No end of the song, though, which was kind of neat. The full band Some Devil was insane. Highlight of the night was Sweet Up and Down for me! Loved the song the first time I heard the LWS and never thought I would hear it! To top it off, my girlfriend and I received 5th row tickets during SUAD, so we ran to them for the rest of the set. Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen!

I've seen DMB at SPAC for 3 years in a row now, and this show blew me away. This was the best show I've ever been to. When Trey came out on stage I was so fucking pumped. It was great to see him, I saw him 12/29/06 in Albany, he played two more shows after that and then Langerado or however you spell it and then thats it, and after 5 months you could tell he was very happy to be on stage again. He brought some awesome energy to the stage. The show just started off with a bang the first Pantala>Rapunzel of the tour, great Rapunzel jam. Then the R&R another first for the tour, not my favorite, but still fun. The Maker, when I saw he was playing this one again, I was just hoping for one and I got it. It wasnt what i suspected, kind of slow, but I still loved it. Once again the LIOG, was great, I wanted Trey and Dave to end it off, but it was a cool change to end it there. The Sweet Up and Down, was fucking amazing, one of my favorite if not my favorite Lillywhite songs. The American Baby Intro > Watchtower was fucking sick, so much energy in Watchtower. This band is not slowing down at all, they are in their prime and they just keep on keepin' on. I got everything I wanted from start to finish, keep it up.

This was by far one of the best shows overall that ive seen in a long time. I wasn't going to go to SPAC this yr, but I had a feeling so drove 4 hours to see DMB. Im so glad I did, and that proves you should always follow your gut.
PNP, into rapunzel was an insane opener
YMDT, I just cannot get into this song for some reaon on album but live it just rules
R&R, HOLY SHIT!
HFTGL, sounds better every time i hear it, but it's getting kinda overplayed for my taste
#27, is a slow song i saw a lot of people leaving during this one, 4th time i've hear it live and thought it sounded great
Warehouse, I mean come on! I called Warehouse into LOUIE LOUIE 4 hrs before the show(Im sure a lot of people did)
IOY, Same as always
Cornbread, I said it once and i'll say it again, Loves it!
LIOG, If this was not the best version i've heard, It's pretty damn close. The crowd loved when Trey came out, but was expected =, but still somewhat surprising.
Some Devil, with the band really was a nice change, it sounded incredible.
The Maker, well played except I don't think a lot of people were diggin it, at least where I was. but oh well I go to move down the lawn more and more.
LB, I hate this song! Scratch that, I love this song! This was the best version I have ever heard and totally changed my opinion of the song. There jammin was just so precise tonight.
Shotgun, always good to hear this song for the 4th time this yr
Crush, brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it. JK great version though
SUAD, NOBODY KNEW WHAT SONG THIS WAS! I am so surprised some people have never heard SUAD, it's a killer song, and a killer concert song that doesn't get enough credit.
ASTB into TOO MUCH, intro was the best I have heard to date. Seems like the jam in Too Much gets slower and slower everytime I hear it, but it's a good thing!
STAY, Coulda done without hearing it, but definately jammed to it for sure.
Gravedigger, nice and slow, i enjoyed hearing Gravedigger, cuz i haven't heard it in a while
ABI, I knew Watchtower was coming after this and that kinda bummed me out. It was the same last two songs as Post Gazette which I was @, but the concert in whole made up for it.
AATW, Again i just heard it 3 days ago, but always a good tune.
All in all this was a fantastic concert, did anyone notice how fuckiNG crowded the lawn was?! Good thing I didn't have to piss or I woulda been fucked. DMB definately made up for only playing one night at SPAC.
Also might I add Rashawn Ross was wearing a Lawrence Taylor White Giants Jersey, the same on I had on, which was really fucking eerie.
Carter was again sporting FootJoy which is just hilarious and amazing.
See You @ blossom, if anyone has a ticket 15th row or below, let me know!
