great show, however the sound guys messed alot of stuff up, boyd lost sound right before the hoedown in grace for about three minutes. daves guitar in cornbread shorted out and he switched to the acoustic. overall a good show, great energy nice set!!

Grace is gone stole the show. The band played black water in the middle of the song and then went back into grace. There will never be a better version of that song. He played cornbread with the whole band instead of by himself.

Are you kiddin me!?!? Seek Up, OSW opener...HFTGL is sounding better and better...solid run of WAYG, Satellite, 27, LIOG, ASTB-->TM. OOMH let us catch our breath before stomping into a wicked Bartender and the best GIG-->Black Water-->GIG-->Hoedown EVER! Not sure why this version wasn't selected for the summer tour sampler. Glad to have this show on hard drive. Looking forward to Hartford!

One of the best shows I've ever been to. Grace>Black Water>Grace hoe down was the single best perfomance of any given song I have seen in my life....the energy was unbelievable. This show was much better than night one. The Everyday>Ants Marching was insane to top it all off! WOW!!!

This was a really great show. There was a lot of different songs that I have not heard live before. I really like the cornbread encore. He came back out three times and played way past the noise ordanice. Show started slow, before Dave got into a grove then it was amazing. Good show. I enjoyed the different set list with great weather. Always a good show.

Good start to the tour. Awesome grace is gone with some Doobie Brothers Black Water slipped in; although Dave was looking for the audinece to sign it for a few, he didn't get the crowd to bite. Cornbread encore apparantly Dave's electric blew and changed to acoustic. 27 sounding good. Great fun seein the individual band member buses oulling out with Carter (still smilin')and Stephan waving; Dave's was last and he was sitting in doorway seat with elbows on knees 'striking a reserved pose' (vs waves and smiles). If attending, so you can depart by 1am, get priority parking or arrive verrry early to Tweeter Ctr in Mansfield -or- best, be well stocked and chill for 2 hours taigating as we did!

Awesome show! Tons of energy and cool people in my area- we were, without doubt, in the company of some hard-core fans. The highlights for me were Seek Up, LIOG, and #36->Everyday. Carter Beauford doesn't miss a beat-- and I think he smiled for the entire set! I just adore him.
On another note, getting out of the Tweeter Center is a bitch. Next year: PREMIUM PARKING!
See you in Hartford.

Another great night with DMB in Mass. This is why I love this band! I hadn't heard Seek Up since 2000 great way to start a show, great surprise. I'm loving #27. ASTB kicking off Too Much instead of a transition brought the energy. Out of My Hands is always just so damn good to hear, so dark and desperate. Grace is Gone just blew me away. Grace is Gone with Black Water and a ho down, WTF???!!!! Seriously? This is why I love this band!

9th dmb show and it felt like my first. So much energy in the show. The band was so tight with everything they did. The new songs #27 and cornbread were REALLY good and I enjoyed them a lot. An extended GIG wasnt entirely necessary but they killed it with a little Doobie Brothers mixed in there. Kind of upset I missed the Seek Up intro and only got to see the second half of it. Bartender was sick with the Digerydoo (or however you spell it). Great night, amazing show, no complaints...dmb is still rockin hard

I always enjoy the show, but of the dozen or so ive been to this was by far the worst/least good. it definitely was boyds night. dave was going through the motions and lacked the fire he typically has. predictable and slow/boring setlist.
i sincerely think they need to take at least a year off. theyve been touring for 16 straight years. they need to regroup and refresh. hate to say it.

Average setlist yet all of the songs sounded great as always. Dave's voice was very tight and fresh. Highlights included Xaviar coming out for Bartender, of course, and hearing for the first time #27 and Corn Bread. Once again, the Mansfield crowd was at its best

This was a great show! When they opened with Seek Up, I involuntarily exclaimed "HOLY SHIT!" One of the most powerful songs ever written. To follow with OSW and several songs later LIOG, was the best beginning of a show in recent memory. The bluesy #27 is so good that it sounds like it's been played for years. It is impossible to dislike, even hearing it for the first time. Xavier's didgeridoo on such an intense song as Bartender was beyond description. We've all heard the beautiful, but ominous, sound it makes, and it fit in perfectly with Boyd's fiddle and Roi's sax/pennywhistle. I wasn't at night one, but DDTW is also a perfect song for the didgeridoo. The Black Water interlude and "Hoedown" outro to GIG was outstanding. It's awesome that the band honors it's musical influences with covers. Looking forward to Hartford and the gorge!

F***. Was supposed to jam in the parking lot with my drums, ended up not making it 'cause one of my tires exploded, then I got pulled over, (written warning,) so I missed the caravan. Got to the lots, drank lots. Blazed up. Saw my friend Kyle. Gradually desceneded into a terrible state of deprivation, puked during Ants Marching, left the venue and passed out in the woods till 2:30am. Wokeup, drove home.

I have been going to Dave shows since the summer of 2004. I understand that is not that long but over the years i have gained a certain respect for live Dave music. This was the best show that i have seen from this band live. The only thing that sucked was the crowd. It didnt seem like it was a Dave crowd. It seemed like it was mostly people there to party and dance and that kind of upset me during the break after the set before the encore when no one was going wild trying to get them to come back on. Everyone was just sitting there waiting for them.

Great show - Lie In our Graves is one of my favs. Thought the intro to Too Much was absolutely awesome - nice and funky. Bartender with Xavier was good, but ran long. Excellent performance of Grace with the Black Water thing from the Doobies - lots of fun. Tripping Billies was a great encore - nice to hear this one again.

Wow! Loved night two! "27" rocked again; should be around for awhile. Grace is Gone stole the show for me! Black Water in the middle was crazy; it didn't look like the ho-down outro would happen and then Boyd exploded! Billies was a pretty decent closer. Dave sang the thrid verse twice! Overall, another steller show!

First off, I got my seat upgraded from Section 8 Row S (Upper Pavillion) to Section 1 Row U (Lower Pavillion)!!! Hell Yeah!! I could almost see the sweat dripping off Dave, Stefan and Boyd. It was good show. A great set from my point of view, I loved the 20 minute Seek UP opener going into OSW. THe music was tight and Dave's voice was great!! They all looked like they were having a great time and enjoying themselves immensly. So here are my high points of the night:
Best Part: Boyd during LIOG's freakin amazing. Cannot say enough about it. Just blew me away. it was the closes thing to a musical orgasm that I have ever experienced!!
Biggest Surprise: Out Of My Hands. It was beautiful, haunting, and just plain gorgeous. You could have heard a pin drop during that song.
New Song: 27 is really really good and they sounded like they'd been playing it together for a long time. It was tight. I think it'll be their best new song and will have longevity.
The Crowd: The crowd was a bit subdued. They were dancing and such, but not like I expected. No one was sitting, at least in my section. Everyone was cool though. The folks in front of me kept making sure they weren't blocking my view of the stage! They would move around to make sure I could see.
Biggest Disappointment: Well none really. I would have liked to have heard at least 1 more of my top 10 songs, but overall the song list was cool. Thankfully Hunger is blissfully short!! And every show should end with Ants Marching. That just rocked!!
I will say it seemed to me that the band was playing more for themselves than for the fans. This isn't a complaint, it's an observation. The only one who really reached for the fans was Boyd. Even Dave was a bit subdued and didn't talk much. I can't recall any good Davespeak. There was only one place where the music wasn't tight. It was coming off the Black Water tease back into Grace Is Gone. But other than that. Pretty phenomenal.
Oh, and Xavier Rudd on the diggerydoo (sp?) during Bartender was totally kickass!!!

UNBELIEVABLE...This was my 23rd show and it was definitely in my top 3. I'm a picky fan and last night just blew my mind. Highlights of the show were definitely Grace is gone > Black Water > Grave is gone, Everyday/36, and Bartender. Xavier Rudd is incredible and adds so much to the opening of bartender. Corn Bread was awesome. #27 was great. I can't really say anything bad about this show. See everyone in CT!

Greetings from Cape Cod,
Boyd, Boyd, Boyd. Someone definitely lit a fire under his ass...not that it needed to be done, he always has tons of energy, but in the 44 shows I've seen, I've never seen him like that. It was incredible. I think I saw smoke coming from his strings...LOL. Another quality performance from DMB despite some obvious technical issues (Cornbread). The Grace Is Gone~Black Water~Grace Is Gone jam was beyond my comprehension. Here's the thing though...when DMB opens with Seek Up and closes with Tripping Billies (my favorite obviously), there is no way you can say that the show wasn't top notch. I'm beginning to have difficulty picking a favorite show after all these years. Dave, Carter, LeRoi, Boyd, Stefan, Butch and Rashawn...please don't stop!!!!!!!!!
