This show couldn't quite live up to the night before, which was amazing. At times, the main set was a bit predictable, although Jimi Thing and Tripping Billies were both great. If they had just closed with Sister and Bayou in the encore, I almost would have left with a bad taste in my mouth. But, first they played #40 which I saw coming from n1. That was almost full band, and it was great to hear. But then, as soon as that ended, Dave started in on Dreaming Tree, which I never saw coming in million years. It absolutely phenomenal to see the return of that great song. The energy in Bayou was an insane way to cap off what has to be one of the greatest encores in DMB history. Overall, this was the best two night stand I have ever seen, and n1 was the best overall concert out of 12 and n2 coming in at a close second.

an awesome setlist that seemed to be more geared to what the fans would pick. That alone can make for an great show, but the performance was as well done as ever. Adding trumpet player Rashawn Ross gave an extra dimension to their sound that I never would have predicted would work, much less great. I have high expectations before I see my first show each year and the band never fails to impress and exceed.

After night one I didnt know how Dave and the boys could possibly top it. I was getting a little crazy thinking ..41 or Last Stop was in order but I was wrong. While night two was a solid set, I dont think it was as spectacular as the night before.....

The highlight of the set was the rear 4 song Encore which saw a full band ..40 and Dreaming Tree. I've always wanted to hear the Tree live and the boys didnt disappoint. I could have done without Crash but thats my preference. The new song Idea is going to be a really good song along with Sister in which Dave is really coming into his own on it. The powerhouse songs of Nancies, Warehouse, Jimi, Billies and Two Step really rocked out. And while initially I was disappointed of Bayou being a closer (mainly because I saw Robert Randolph play Bayou at the Creek last year and that was amazing), Boyd was going crazy on it so it turned out to be a really good version.
So with these two great concerts.... visions of going on the road to catch another show is a possibility. It will be interesting to see what else will come out during the tour... but as for the concerts in indy, I give them an A+ for night one and A- for night two.

I cannot beleive he busted out Dreaming Tree in with his four song Encore. That was the least expected song and my god was it incredible. He also finished up #40 which he BRUTALLY teased the first night. Also playing Digging a Ditch and Lie In Our Graves, very good DMB!

Well....minus all of the poser-hippy kids in their rediculous looking skirts they just bought a couple days before the show just to have for a DMB concert, and all the drunken and intoxicated idiots roaming around the place.....it was an amazing show. I swear, I wish there was some way to filter and screen-out those people. I can't stand it. HOWEVER, DMB PULLED THROUGH WITH ANOTHER AMAZING SHOW TONIGHT BECAUSE THEY PLAYED #40 AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS. AFTER HEARING AND WITNESSING 3 TEASES. DAVE FINALLY CAME THROUGH FOR US....FOR THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SHAKE YOUR HAND AND TELL YOU THANK YOU IN SPIRIT SINCE I CAN'T DO IT IN PERSON!!!!ALSO, HEARING DREAMING TREE AND DIGGIN A DITCH WAS AMAZING TOO!!! OSW to open, Nancies->Warehouse,Jimi, Two Step... already an unblelievable show. N1 set the bar pretty high but N2 still delivered. This was DEFINITELY the best 2 night stand DMB has played in quite some time.
Gorge, RR, and Alpine eat your hearts out....Deer Creek is where it's at!
And most of all #40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally got to see number fucking forty, oh yeah.

There was lots left from last nite ! Dave made up with the audience by doing the full-band #40, although still listed as a tease. That's the longest version I've seen. The "Nancies/Warehouse" was awesome; a cool "Grace is Gone", and "Digging a Ditch" absolutely out of nowhere. I swear I heard an "Angel" tease in here, too, but that could be just me. "The Dreaming Tree" sound check kept everyone who heard it waiting for that one to appear. The interactive "Everday" is always good. Columbus show next !

This was a very solid show. The inclusion of Dreaming Tree and Digging a Ditch took it to another level. Grey Street and Louisiana Bayou were also high points. Again though, Dreamign Tree was the keynote moment. It was flat out awesome. This is a very nice venue as well, which also enhanced the experience of the show.

OK...so I was pretty bummed when I saw the set list for Friday night...didn't know how the boys were gonna top it. Then Saturday came!!! Unbelievable!!! My 3rd show and definitely the most intense EVER!! Shorter pauses in between songs, great interaction with the crowd, lawn was insane-crazy! Personal favorites were Warehouse-jam, Tripping Billies, Ditch (did he really play that?), and a strong Two Step. THEN, came the ENCORE... I could not believe my ears when the first few notes of Dreaming Tree were played...beautiful. Bayou to close was a perfect choice. Thank you DMB and Deer Creek for another amazing June show...see you next year!!!

This show was great also, and the band attempted JTR again. They did not seem to get it right again, but were close. I couldn't believe the 4 song encore. Dreaming Tree was a treat. The best weekend ever. The Idea of You is an absolutely flawless song. Made every hair on my body stand up on end. I've never been so connected as I was this weekend. A very intense 2 nights of absolute harmony. Perfect weather and a diverse setlist. Dreaming Tree, JTR (2 nights in a row), a damn near 20 minute Jimi Thing and another 12+ minute Tripping Billies. It was a completely packed house for what looks to be one of the best tours...EVER!! THEY'RE BACK!!!!! :)

Spur of the moment decision to go (because I was previously unable to due to work), but I bought tickets for $300 off of eBay and took my nephew as a graduation gift. Worth the trip, time, money, and the 34 straight hours with no sleep! Liked the setlist a lot. Better than last year's Deer Creek n2? No way, but still a solid show!

this was my first show and so i didn't get to take it in as much as my second but i remember my mind being absolutely blown. i didn't even LIKE the band before i went, my friend and her parents convinced us to go. and i now owe that friend my life haha
i wasn't familiar with any of the songs, obviously. but the ones that stuck out to me the most and i really enjoyed were Everyday, Dancing Nancies, Grace is gone -which brought me close to tears, the two step closer AND of course the bayou encore closer. the audience's energy just blew my mind wide open. i'm SO glad i was introduced to this band, i'm just sorry it was so late in the game
