This weekend was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The boat on the boat all felt like close friends and the shows were awesome. I have only been a hardcore DMB fan for a few years but his gesture to come back on the boats and do a very intimate concert since the main show got rained out half way through made me realize what type of person Dave must be. I am not more of a fan than ever.

Rain and all this show was unbelievable. And then for D&F to top it off with coming on our boats and playing until near 4:00 in the morning was awesome!!

Wet & wild, no booze, but much fun before the mini-hurricane blew in. can NOT believe he started before the ferries got all passengers over to the island.

The show began with Dave greeting us with a fond "AHOY" and we got into quick with Bartender and after a few more hits, the rest of Dave's "Friends" showed up and opened with Dodo...The rain started and it was a cold rain , but D+F's kept full speed ahead cranking out as much of the Some Devil album as they could and somewhere after Oh the show was delayed...after about and hour Dave tried to please the remaining crowd with a rendition of Waste with Trey but the majority of the fans by then had headed back to their respective ships...
What was to follow was something no one could imagine, those thinking they were going to watch Toots and the Maytals were treated to an impromptu performance by D+F's along with Bob Weir and jammed out on my ship(Sovereign of the seas) till about 2 am and then got on the other ship and gave them what we had witnessed....
although many complained about weather and the whole trip, it was money on my part well spent...
you just had to be there....

I WAS THERE! In the rain.... Was awesome event no matter.....Did not stay for remainder of the show, but did catch SOS show. LOVE DAVE ! I was 4th row center standing beside a tall man when the rains came. Stayed beside him to block the storm for almost an hour then headed for the Atlantis grills to find warmth then jumped in a white van and headed back by land to the SOS.

Finding a lost friend in a sea of trashbags with faces is not an easy thing to do. Turns out that the poor guy found his way back to the boat. I lucked out and caught the second set thanks to whomever it was that alerted those about to go back over to the ships when they noticed the crew setting up again! I hope we get to rock that floatin' boat again next year.

I was in the beer line when the music began. Then they ran out of beer, another 20 minutes later(it seemed) the beer was back and I was listening/watching one of the best shows I've seen lately. Then the rain came, I had to leave before I wanted to, but the Majesty show made it all better. Got some great pix and a few vids from both.

I was on the second ferry, and got in the concessions lines almost as soon as my feet hit the sand. Three hours later I returned to my very panicked girlfriend, who was about to file
a missing persons report on me. Two minutes later, Dave & Tim came on stage. They were great as always. I really liked seeing Dave & Friends for the first time. They rocked! The rain came and equipment started to fail, forcing the band to take a break.
I told my girlfriend that we would wait as long as I could see guitars in the racks. An hour later we were rewarded with Dave & Tim and later Dave & Trey returning to the stage to perform for certainly one of the smallest audiences they have played to in years. Great show!

Went with my cousin and her fiance. We were group 7 (deck 5) so were brought over to the island last. Because only 3 of 4 boats were running and the event was poorly organized, we missed the entire Dave & Tim set, plus most of Dodo. I was very sad, but when Dave and Tim came back out after the 1.5hr + "monsoon", everything was different. What a show!!!
I carried up a red candle from the floor of the men's bathroom, but the rain kept putting it out. Thank you to all those that let me through or helped me re-light. :-)

Quite an experience...one that I'll never forget. The beach fiaso was unique...and Gravedigger in the rain was AMAZING! But the intimate shows on the boat took the cake. That was a once in the lifetime experience I'm so glad I was a part of :)

Even though I am sure I was on the verge of hypothermia, my body was sore from shaking - I was so cold and wet - it was definitely worth it! Basically got to see 3 Dave shows in one incredible night and bonded with a few crazy Dave fans for life. Even through all the disorganization - the music was so worth it - including the non-Dave music - there were some truly talented musicians on that ship - and we had the time of a lifetime!

Wow, what a mess this one was.... so poorly planned. Then it rained so hard that they cancelled the show... but it was all good because we got random warm canned beers in a box from the concession stand for the bargain price of about $7/piece.

This was awesome! Waited throught hte rain storm and got to see Dave and Tim come out then Dave and Trey. Then to see them on the boat was over the top! "Gotta Get On The Boat", Rocky Mountain Way" Ako Ako with Bob Weir. How can you beat a show like that on a crusie ship in the Bahama's. This cruise was the best three consecutive days I have ever had in my life. Met tons of great people and have since hooked up with them in 2 different states the Gorge will be the 3rd with a 3rd group of people that I met on the cruise. They better do this again!

Incredible! I've never had so much fun in the rain. We danced and sang along with complete albums by The Beasty Boys and Sublime while waiting for the rain to let up so Dave and the boys could play some more.

Way too many thoughts to put into a good review . . . I still maintain, though, that I'm glad the "storm of the century" (as the officials in the Bahamas called it) hit. It made for a much more memorable experience, and I loved seeing more of an acoustic show, anyway (we were the few lucky ones who came with ponchos - "@#$%#@ Boy Scouts!"). We were not about to leave that "island" until they dragged us off! Plus we were also lucky enough to race back to the boat and get to the main showroom for the late show, cuz I just knew he was gonna "Get Back On The Boat" with us =D !!!
