Hands down, this was the best show I've ever been to. I guessed right that they'd open with PNP->Rapunzel. The show just took off after that. I'd mention the highlights, but they played the hell out of every song! Dave was on fire, Carter rocked Say Goodbye, BOTH of Fonzi's solos were incredible, Roi was right on, Boyd tore it up as usual, and Butch sweetened it all up. Hearing Blackbird live the first time was quite special though. I'll be living in the shadow of this show for the next few months.

My second ever show at The Gorge and once again it was outstanding. Sat way up on the lawn again where the view was gorgeous, the sound was pretty good, and there was plenty of room to sing and dance. My first ever live performances of 'Say Goodbye', 'Crush', and 'What You Are' and all were incredible. The biggest surprise of the night was 'Blackbird' and I'm glad that I was there for that little jem.
It was also a pleasure to meet and hang out with all the fellow Ants at Wildhorse for the weekend. What an incredible time!!

alright, what to say, first off, i flew in from wisconsin just to see the gorge. The concert venue was unreal, it was just amazing, beautiful scenery and so small of a place in the middle of nowhere, anyways the concerts were amazing although by the last night it wasnt to hard to predict what he was going to play, dancin-warehouse, say goodbye, lover, bartender, grey, what u are, pnp, etc. i made a list before the show and he only played 2 songs i didnt think he would DIDO and Blackbird......anyways im not complaining, i was just looking forward to a big suprise and i didnt get it..... as far as the gorge goes, it is an extremely mellow place, a lot less partying than i thought. so far alpine has the best tailgate party, deer creek has the best camping and the gorge has the best venue, next year i will see where red rocks comes into play

You couldn't have asked for a better closing show to a three night stand than this! Great old school touch with Nancies~Warehouse and the Blackbird surprise was ridiculous! Everyone just stood there in amazement! I was in the 12th row and I swear I could hear people talking on the top of the hill! I'm not complaining but that Dreaming Tree tease drove me crazy! I really wanted to hear that song. But to be honest I saw Dave walk over to Butch after Blackbird and I saw him say Watchtower so I knew that was coming but when the Dreaming Tree intro started I forgot I even saw him say that, I was too excited to hear DT! And not only was the band ROCKING their asses off but the crowd was totally into it! Great Audience, Great Show, Great Venue basically translates into a great weekend! Nothing else to say but a great show and I couldn't be more happy with my first trip (First of Many!!!!!) out to the Gorge!

What a night, thanks to Heater, ended moving up from WH Lawn to 22nd row dead center. Good setlist, lots of energy, great crowd and a amazing venue. Liked hearing Blackbird, thought he band did a good job with it (even though they weren't going to play it). Say Goodbye was great usual, nice to see DIDO (only second time played this year, also saw it the other time in Mansfield). I thought it was a interesting encore with Crush and What You Are, not quite what I was expecting, but was pleased with it. Overall a great show and a amazing weekend.

WOW! Such an amazing audience! They chanted Carter Beuford after his rockin' finish to Hello Again. They sang #36 during the encore break. Carter was having a great time, dave had energy and seemed to have a direct corilation with the left side of the audience, where we were sitting in the ninth row, with Patty, Paige, David and Alison. In fact, after the show he came over to our side of the stage and looked out in our area clapping as if to say you guys rocked tonight. I can't tell what it's like on stage, but that was my perception from down below. Also Blackbird was terrific. Beatles was done perfectly. I recognized the harmony by Butch and then when Dave started singing it all came together. Boyd played the mandolin, never seen that before. Watchtower got the audience going! Great show, up close really makes a difference. Dave thanked the crowd for another wonderful weekend at the Gorge.

Hello Again, DIDO, Nancies, Blackbird, Watchtower and WYA made a great end to the weekend. We pretty much knew what songs would be played but Blackbird and the Dreaming Tree tease came out of no where. A great way to cap off the best weekend of my life.

N3 was my favorite of all 3 nights at the Gorge. It was a perfect end to an insane five days. We started out about 20 rows back from the stage and because we were on the outer edge were able to get right up to the third row. It was incredible to hear their Blackbirrd interpretation. Crush was fan-freakin-tastic of course and made my night hearing it in the encore. The Gorge rules and I'd do it again anytime!!

Wow, this was the best of all 3 shows this weekend. Of course, being in the 4th row, which I am rarely, enhances the experience greatly. It was fun to see 'Roi get a big smile on his face when the crowd yelled, "Leee Roy Moooooore" over and over. He still was too shy to come out and take a bow. It was fun to have the first "Blackbird" played by the band. I also loved the "old school" immediate transition from "Nancies" to "Warehouse." During the very last scream on "WYA" Dave's whole body was shaking. I'll never forget that effort. These guys put it all on the line tonight.

Nothing can be said that hasn't been already. The absolute highlight, other than eternal bragging rights for being at the first Blackbird show ever, was right after Hunger when we were all chanting for Nancies, Dave strums two notes...crowd goes absolutely APESHIT, two more...same reaction. You can hear it so well on Crumbo's tape. Carter could have jammed off Hello Again for a week and we'd have all stayed totally encapsulated. I almost lost it though when people took off for the exits after Watchtower. You've got to be kidding me. Row 22 and you bail before the encore on SUNDAY? I'm so happy that Dave screamed loud enough during WYA that they could hear in the parking lot and realize what they were missing just to beat the traffic. See y'all next year.

I never thought they would be able to top the 7.24.05 Alpine show, but DMB always seem to top themselves somehow. I cannot think of a better show to end the weekend with. Blackbird? Come on!! You could hear a pin drop. Sick! My friend was getting pissed because I called the opener all three nights! I even called Hello Again tonight as well. Finally got to hear DIDO which was great. Nancies>>Warehouse always gets me close to a heart attack. Say Goodbye is beautiful as always. Glad to see they played HFTGL all three nights. That is a classic live song that gets the crowd going. I was like a little kid during the Dreaming Tree tease, was praying that they would play the whole song, but I will settle for a tease. And then the AATW blew the non-existing roof off the place. Lost ten pounds sweating even thought the weather and scenery were and are perfect. Crush and WYA were a great way to end the show. I am getting sick of people sitting down during some songs. You may be taking a breather, but it is fucking DMB!!! Oh well. The Gorge weekend will always stay with me and I cannot express enough to DMB for enriching my life. Thanks guys for a perfect weekend!!!

Wow...my 9th Dave show was the best yet. PNP->Rapunzel was the perfect opener and Bartender, Drive in Drive out, and Grey Street were great to hear. The jam on Bayou was incredible. Boyd has been better on this tour than he has ever been and that is saying something. And, of course, Blackbird left me speechless. The encore was beautiful. Tonight rocked. Dave's voice didn't die at all, except a few times during Crush. Crush and Grey Street, and Nancies stole the show for me. They had so much energy and played perfectly. Show number 5 for me (in under a year's span) and it's great. This entire weekend was incredible. Oh yeah, the Dreaming Tree interpoolation in Stefan's intro, wow. I swore to god they were going to pull off the actual song.

A great setlist, unbelievable energy and amazing seats. The coolest thing is that I was there with my best friend for his bachelor party, who turned to me after Carter's rockin' drum solo in Hello Again and we started chanting "Car-ter Bouford" then we clapped. Many around us joined in the chant and then Carter acknowledged our chant by beating his bass drum to the rhythm of the claps we started, he waved his drum stick and smiled. We did the same thing with Leroi Moore and he acknowledged us by raising his sax and smiling. The band is absolutely incredible. My fifth show this summer. I am still on a high 48 hours later.

Night 3, the second best showof this year, second only to last night's. There's nothing wrong with that either, because this show was unbelievable. I finally got PNP>Rapunzel as an opener, what a place to hear it at. Dreamgirl, was so sweet as the twilight set it. Hello Again returned after a month break, let me say I've never heard such an ovation for this newer song in my life, unreal. Other highlights include: Say Goodbye, Bartender, Lover lay down, Hunger For the Great Light, and Louisianna Bayou. The new songs were very good tonight, the crowd enjoyed them alot more then other venues I've been to this year. except Out of my hands, that's a great song to grab a beer or use the bathroom. Then it got down to the final hour of this amazing weekend. Drive in Drive out was great to hear,so much energy, Dave had to improvise a little during this song. The, there was the Nancies>Warehouse segue that I was hoping for(first time since Central park), I love that roar of the crowd when warehouse starts up. Then, BLACKBIRD, wow!!! I was amazed to the point where I could not stop smiling as everyone sang the lyrics to this Beattles song. Dreaming Tree tease>Watchtower was awesome, and crush was a very nice surprise. What You Are at the Gorge was something I was anticipating since I saw it on TV from the historic 2002 weekend. The song of the night had to be Blackbird, a song we never hera them play again, what a moment. Thank you Gorge Amphitheatre for one of the best weekend of my life. This place is GORGEous, I will be back.
