It was a great show with a lot of energy from the band. Dave really belted some of the songs out, carter tore it up with a couple of drum solos, Leroi had some high points as well, and of course Boyd did his thing (very well) on the violin. I loved hearing #34 and You Never Know. Other than the insane heat, the show was excellent.

Good Opener in OSW, but really got started with DDTW which made the crowd come alive. The climax of the show was the stretch in between songs such as LB,too much, #34,YNK, and Hello Again. Carters Drum solo was amazing, and Boyd ripped it in many of those songs. Good encore to cap of the night in PnP into rapunzel

Incredible show as always. I love the new songs. Smooth Rider was such a jam. Steady As We Go gave me chills - what a love song! #34 was awesome to hear. The whole show rocked. The heat was insane. This was my 12th show - sadly last one this tour. Why hasn't Dave been wearing his wedding ring????

I must say that this was the worst show that I have seen out of all of the ones I have been to. I was not impressed with the setlist. I like alot of the new songs but Dave didnt play alot of the good ones. I expect there to be mostly new songs on this tour and that doesnt bother me but atleast play the good ones. I loved ants, too much, 34, and rapuzel. Kinda missed SMTS into Too Much but you gotta change things once in a while. One thing that annoyed the crap out of me... FREAKING HIGH SCHOOL KIDS THAT JUST GO TO SOCIALIZE. I was surrounded by atleast 40 of them in the lawn. All they did was talk and get in the way. There were atleast 3 fights that broke out within 15 feet of me and the heat sucked. I still enjoyed some of the concert but for the most part it sucked. I felt really bad because it was my girlfriends first one and I had been talking it up for months and then a sucky night happens. Definently never getting lawn tickets again. Stupid High School Kids!!! Pittsburgh was a million times better.

Worst venue I have been to in my life. Was severely disappointed in song selection by the band. Were some good hightlights with #34 and Carter's drum solo. Just really didn't understand the setlist. I think they were tired. Dave took a seat for Out of My Hands.

Show was incredible!!! The Band was jamming and there was never a moment when the boys weren't smiling. 8th show for me. Highlights were Louisiana Bayou, #34(this is such a pretty song), Carter's Drum solo on Hello Again, and Ants Marching(I don't know how Boyd still had strings at the end of it!!). Kind of disappointed with the encore. I love Rapunzel and they jammed the hell out of it. I was just hoping to hear a rare gem, like Halloween or Last Stop.

All I have to say is #34. I know they might play it more on the tour, but this song was the only song I really really wanted to hear.....luckily I did. We also got a little #40 tease before Out of My Hands. I kept yelling "#40...give me some words", but no luck. However, YNK was amazing to hear again, and Ants was just fucking rediculous. Bartender as always was a very nice treat. I love Leroi's if I only had a brain outro. The new songs are always amazing live, and who ever says they don't like them even live.....well YOU SUCK!!! Because they are amazing live. Oh, by the way, they are going to be playing atleast 5-7 songs off the new album on this tour, so get used to it. IT'S AN ALBUM RELEASE YEAR. THEY HAVE DONE THIS FOR EVERY ALBUM. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, TAKE A BATHROOM BRAKE, GET A DRINK, OR SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP..PLEASE, BECAUSE IT'S GETTING ANNOYING AS HELL HEARING ALL THESE PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW MANY SONGS FROM THE NEW ALBUM THEY PLAY. GOOD GOD PEOPLE, ARE YOU NEVER HAPPY? Sorry I had to vent a little. Back to the show. They had a lot of jam songs tonight, and the crowd was going crazy the entire time. I think this was the first sold out show for Cincy in like 3 years? Well, it showed with the all the energy the crowd had in the pavilion. I don't think I have ever heard it so loud before. The entire setlist was amazing, and comes very very close to Robert Randolph on LB, and Watchtower up in Indy this year. However, hearing #34 made it all that much better. I teared up a little bit during the song.....what can I say it was a little emotional.

Most exhausting show i've ever been too! got there for the sound check where we heard a great bayou, but then they blew it up at the concert! wasnt even expecting it be that sweet w/o randolph. #34 along with you never know, what a delight. pantala/rapunzel was a terrific way to cap the night off. wasnt one of my favorite shows, but every show leaves me with a different incredible feeling every time, this was no exception.

It wasnt the best set list DMB has ever heard but they sure know how to do things live which turned it into a great show. I enjoyed the american baby intro and the ever so wonderful ants marching.

That was an amazing show and they did look like they were having fun. The crowd was pretty damn sweet. Out of My Hands isnt the best encore song. Also kind of disappointed we didnt get to hear one of the great classic live songs such as Warehouse, Two Step, All Along the Watchtower. The crowd even somewhat started Two Step chant while waiting for the encore which was pretty sweet. Overall though, sweet show, but when is it not, its DMB!

Wearing myself out through AM, WH, and finally eBay over the last couple of days was definitely worth it to see the band for my fifth time this summer so far. The best versions of Ants Marching and Two Much I've ever heard live. Overall it was a pretty good show, I didn't think that they crowd was as energized as some I've seen at Deer Creek or Nashville, and it was the weakest encore I've seen since Chicago 12/02. I am a fan of PNP/Rapunzel but isn't it more of an opener? Out of My Hands is my least favorite song on SU as well so that was disappointing.

Great show...the band had awesome energy tonight even though it was like 100 degrees. Carter was off the hook tonight especially on hello again. Great too much and LB as well. #34 was deffinately the highlight of the night. It is such a great song I am so glad they are playing it live. Awesome YNK and Bartender. I am loving the new songs live, I'm especially glad I got to hear smooth rider and american baby intro was really cool. The crowd was really into it and DmB always puts on a great show. Never heard Ants until last night and the crowd went crazy and I was hyped. A little dissapointed by the encore I was hoping for something besides OOMH but I was glad we got the #40 tease and PNP>Rapunzel. Great show see ya next year hopefully more than twice.

It was a Dave Matthews Band show, I can't complain. It was probably #7 out of the 7 shows I have been to, but I still got to see the greatest band of all time. One Sweet World and Don't Drink The Water were great to start off the show. Steady As We Go was a treat. Hello Again was incredible. Ants Marching was absolutely incredible. I was a little disappointed with Out Of My Hands for the first encore but then Pantala Naga Pampa into Rapunzel got me excited. It was still a great show.

Incredible energy from the boys! Good gravy, we're they havin' fun!! Dave in a flesh-colored butterfly shirt... Stefan grinning his ass off. Leroi sans shades but with eyes closed for much of the first half of the show. OSW opener got the crowd into the show quickly. The hottest I've ever been at a show... in the pit, sweating and dancing. Crowd noise was incredible, and I loved the singalong during the "Dreamgirl" intro... Yeahhhhhhhhhhh! DDTW was amazing, and prompted the first true crowd explosion, although LB seemed like the highlight to me... from where we were in the pit, it seemed to get the biggest ovation, which made me so proud!! Couldn't wait to hear how it sounded both ways, with and without Robert Randolph. Boyd front and center and peac@cking, first time I'd heard it without Robert Randolph. Hunger had everyone dancing... by then we'd left the Sweaty Pit for the entrance to the lawn, where we could dance and get some elbow room. Rapunzel was a surprising closer... was expecting Out of My Hands to segue into AB for some reason. Happy happy closer, incredible Rapunzel, Carter off the chain!! It was a very hot and humid night, which might have contributed to the lack of real energy down front, where it felt like 150 degrees. Riverbend will always suck, but the tailgate scene was cool, the crowd mellow and not-too-drunken (probably due to the heat), I loved the setlist and had an amazing time, and I'll never forget the butterfly shirt... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://tavernwench.blogspot.com

This was my first Dave show and it was spectacular. One Sweet World was a great opener and Don't Drink The Water was amazing as well. Dreamgirl was great to hear live. I've never seen a band jam more in a concert than Dave does. I can't wait until next year!

User: yavin27

AWESOME, #34 WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Dave even teased #40 which was also cool; maybe someday I'll get to hear that. American Baby Intro into Dreamgirl was awesome, along with Smooth Rider and Lousiana Bayou. The band finally awakend the crown with LB. The band seemed very peaceful and happy last night, but Stefan seemed unusually happy, which out of 19 shows, I've never witness before. I wonder what was up with that.
