The show itself was great, really liked Seek Up and #41, the new songs weren't bad either. Also, nothing beats hanging out on the beach all day just to go to an awesome show that night.

Absolutely awesome show. Best I have been too hands down. Front Row was amazing, pretty sure Dave's wife was up there, she left during the encore. Got some great pics and a few live video clips, will see how they turned out in the morning. Absolutely amazing. Carter was the man tonight!

The best show of mostly new music I've seen (in 15 years of following the band!). The night was warm.. the beer cold... the band flawless.

Kinda of a wierd show, usually VA Beach blows every year. However this show started off great for the first half, they then switched to playing songs off the latest album and just killed the momentum and direction of the show, one way to sum it up great 1st half/ bad second half . Awesome opener in ABaby (great song)...seek -up was magical and #41 was inspirational, however one of the best Va beach shows I have seen

Absolutely amazing. My first show and i couldn't be happier, it was awesome to hear some not so typical older songs blended perfectly in with the new ones (which sound far better than i could have imagined).

It was my first dave show, and i was really happy that they just didn't play new songs! ( even though those were the ones i really only knew.) Alot of people were really happy to hear Crash & #41.I plan to go back every summer to the Verizon Wireless ampitheater. WE ALL WANT DAVE TO COME TO RICHMOND!( COLISEAUM YEAAA):)

Hell of a Show! The new songs are god damned incredible live! I called the Seek Up and #41 which is hard to believe but I did it...We also got the first WHAT YOU ARE of the tour, with the crazy Floydian intro, it was sick.

Great show...it was my first in four years and my first time seeing him in Va beach in seven years...first time tailgating in the VIP parking area which was very nice for entry and exiting...love all the songs off of the new album and it's true that the band is getting better and better as the years go by...currently in process of getting a B&P for this show

Overall it was a great concert, American Baby is not a very good opener IMO but oh well. Seek Up had a nasty jam and then they also played #41!! First time Ive got to hear #41 full band....still dont like the ED outro but as long as they dont play ED in that show I can handle it. I enjoy Dream Girl and Stolen Away so much better live, they were "heavy" on the new stuff but they all sounded great. WYA had a quasi-devil intro...def not a full devil intro and def not the normal intro...somewhere in between. The "get down on your knees mother fuckers!!@" was inasne...everyone in the crowd was pumped. I was front and center on the lawn and the crowd around me was great. I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did.

Over 8 months without a DMB show...finally remedied with a new venue for us. Despite all of the talk of "no tailgaiting, no drinking, no fun" at Virginia Beach, I'd say we managed pretty well. The lot was very calm, and not very populated, but we caught a great buzz for a few hours just relaxing and drinkin in our cups. Got to our seats in plenty of time, and I was stoked as can be for new material, new energy, and a new feeling for me to be with the girl I love. We managed to grab our whole crew and all pack into our row, which made it even better. To summarize the show: It may have been the most energetic I've seen the band. They looked like they were having so much fun. The new songs from Stand Up are COMPLETELY taken to a new level when played live. Highlights were One Sweet World and a phenomenal 25 minute Seek Up, both of which were the only 2 Karen wanted to really hear. Also suprised to get the classics like Crash and #41. Extatic to hear What You Are to close! For the encore, Dave sat in a chair for Stolen Away, which helped me get into the lyrics more to realize how great a song that is. ALL IN ALL, probably the best of the 20 I've been to.

OMG! This was the best show I've ever seen from DMB! I usually see him on the West coast, after the band has been touring for a while. It was awesome to see an energized Dave, complete with his flawless voice!

It was an amazing show. I was shocked at how well the new stuff translates live. It made my opinion of Stand Up sky rocket. Plus they worked in the old stuff perfectly. I really want a copy of this show, so if you have it, or know how to make the bit torrent or FTP stuff work please let me know. I would say they should make this concert a live trax.

Good show, I was pleased to hear #41, Seek Up, and What You Are, and I liked the new stuff better live. American Baby was a little weak as an opener, and I felt like the encore didn't really carry the energy from an amazing What You Are. Worth the drive, but I was left wanting more.

My first show, it was pretty good with them playing the Stone and #41 and a very good Seek Up. Louisiana Bayou was a highlight of the night, but I didn't enjoy that stretch of five new songs in a row. Still, good first experience.

this was my first show and i can't say that i was happier. since this was my first show i would have to say that my 2 favorite songs their were the stone (just cause of my personal liking of that song), and what you are (because of that upbeat "in-your-face" feeling of that song). that's the best explanation i can think of. look foward to seeing many more shows (one in a couple of days).

AMAZING SHOW as always with this band. The setlist was awesome. This is only my 4th show and every time seems to get better. The band played amazingly, alot of energy. I like the new lighting effects alot. Alot of big suprises in the setlist. 41, seek up, what you are, crash into me, Rhyme and Reason, I would have never guessed he would play all of these songs. Even though they didn't let us in the parking lot until after 5, I still had a great time and got to meet some cool people. My first of hopefully many more shows I see in Virginia Beach.

Review:
This was my 15th show, and unfortuntately, I was quite disappointed. The show lacked the fire and energy of past shows, and the setlist was rather stale. #41 was good, as always, but not spectacular. If I don't hear Crash, OSW, or Too Much ever again live, I will not be upset. And, in my opinion, of the new songs, only Louisiana Bayou and Dreamgirl have long-term live potential. Overall, the show was not terrible, it just ranks towards the bottom of the shows I have seen. I missed the "Busted Stuff" tracks, "Long Black Veil," the "Maker," and even "Watchtower." Anyway, this is just my opinion and I mean no disrespect in my review. I will still continue to hit at least 1 Dave show per year. But as always, I look forward to concert years when they are not marketing a new album. Those years always seem to churn out the best setlists, in my opinion.

unbelievable show! I flew in from Boston and it was sooo worth it. I even got on the radio outside the venue! Too fun! The setlist gave me a huge appreciation for "Stand Up" Tons of new stuff but I loved it live. I thought "Hunger" was insane. Plus #41 AND Seek Up in the same show, frigging unbelievable! The boys were just having such a great time. Carter broke into the sickest solo on Hello Again. Just awesome! Thanks to the Warehouse for my seats directly in front of Dave 14th row!

Good Show with a few songs all the hard core fans love to hear. The new stuff seemed to take the crowd out of the concert in the second half of the show, never seen people sitting down on the lawn of a DAVE show before. NOT me I was jammin!!!

Great show had a great time. Partied with some folks in the parking lot pretty hard. Walked into the theater when DMB opened up with American Baby. It made a great entrance, but would have liked to hear the opener.

i love it. it was my first show and i was amazed. i was psyched to hear The Stone so was screaming at the top of my lungs with the song, looked like dave couldn't remember how to start off Seek Up words at first, and I had to step out to take a phone call so I missed What You Are till the very end of it. My friend and I kept screaming "Let Stefan sing!" and "Let Butch in the band!" and we were hoping to see Stefan's orange bass which means Two Step, but I was very impressed with the show. I could have hoped for less newer songs and more old, but Seek Up, #41, The Stone(the ending with the cameras going wild was awesome), and Too Much I loved it. Seats : 101 Y17 18 and 19
