Meh... Started off huge (with the exception of Pig, but that was to be expected)... Wicked long version of Jimi Thing, but after The Stone, Dave's (and the Crowd's) energy just kinda fell off until Two Step. Intro to Grace is Gone was pretty badass... Recently was a nice encore piece, but how can you end a show with Stay? The crowd was a bunch of new school fans, mostly 16-21 pacing the lawn on their cellphones looking for their friends instead of listening up, but it's the meadows, what do you expect? Would have much rather seen the 30th show... My first time seeing DMB, not a total dissapointment - but definitely no Dave and Tim show...

Show started off great...Good Version of Everyday. Too much was great as always...he improved pig and it wasnt the best ive seen...crash lacked energy but it was ok...SMTS--->ASTB--->warehouse was Amazing THe highlight of the night...grace is gone and jimi thing were good...the stone was high energy one of the best ive heard...im pleased with the set untill the disaster that is next to come diggin a ditch,fool to think,i did it, if i had it all...3 everday Worst end to a show i have ever seen or heard...Too Step Was short and lacked energy...Only thing that brough the show to mediocre level was an AMAZING recently...the first night slaughtered this night...hope i got better luck at hershey

Aweseome show until Grace is Gone. After that, it just seemed like the band and the crowd lost their enthusiasum. Dave talked about how much he liked playing in Hartford, but I just didn't see it after GIG. There was no really unique songs other than Recently. All the rest were the ones he plays almost every other night. What happened to Dreaming Tree, The Last Stop, Minarets and The Maker. Also, no I'll Back You Up since 6/24/03. I thought this tour was supposed to be about delving into old school stuff, but it just seems like they are playing the same crowd pleasers every other night (ie Ants, Watchtower, Billies and Two Step). The Two Step at this show sucked. It had no jamming in the middle of it and didn't last longer than 7 or 8 mins. I just remember the old DMB back in 2000 that played for close to three hours. We were lucky if this show even broke the 2 hour mark. If anyone feels the same way about this leg of the tour please feel free to send me a message. I'm so down about these two shows, that I'm not even looking forward to the two Tweeter Center shows in MA

this was my 5th and 6th show and my first double header!! All I can say is I love this band and wont ever go to just one show again!! Also Hartford is my favorite venue yet. Awesome show both nights athough I have to say nifgt 1 was better! Can't wait to see the boys again and again and again!!!!

Set list was great, the people were awesome (section 500 row HH!) and the energy was mad! Stay was the perfect end to the night because after all, thats exactly what I wanted to do!

Second dave show ever but by far the best, awesome set list, ended with two step which was absoloutly amazing, also played the Dixie Land ending to Crash which i'd never seen before one of the best experiences ever.
P.S- To that drunk guy who passed out and didnt wake up till we started poking you, next time dont drink so much lol and maybe your friend wont tell us to kick you if you freak out and step on you if we want

The show started off great, but overall I didn't like the set much. Too much ED all together like that, with the DAD killing the energy that the crowd already lacked. Crowd around me on the lawn seemed way too much into themselves and into calling their friends on cell or lighting-up then being into the concert at all. It was more like a club scene, with a house band playing and everybody all around just chatting and not caring much about the band at all... I mean, the audience jumped into each song singing with a lot of energy, but it died out way too quick. Lots of screaming from the drunk girls behind me, yelling nothing in particular, made it even HARDER to hear the concert that was already hard enough to hear from the lawn.
Definately wasn't as good as SPAC 7/29 last year, which was my first concert. I liked having more space at the Meadows, with less to block your sight, but the sound was bad from up high on the lawn, and you couldn't see anything if you got closer... I still don't get why if everybody is fine sitting in the beginning and you can see and all, why everyone has to stand up when the band starts, making everybody behind them have to stand to see at all. It's like a wave from the front to the back of standing, and if you don't, you can't see at all and can barely hear.
SPAC was more crowded and harder to see, everybody stood during that concert too, but there was a closer connection to everyone around you. Everyone sang EVERY song LOUD with Dave throughout the whole concert, and there was way more energy. The band radiated it during that concert. This one... just didn't have that. The band started out great and had a killer beginning, but it fell below the mark mid-way.
The meadows just seemed... dead. Sure there was enthusiasm when Dave came on and all, but there was a lot missing. I think Dave felt it, too. He seemed just to play to get through it, but he looked sick. I dunno, but the concert was disappointing.
I may choose to stick with SPAC next year; this, my first visit to Meadows, wasn't that good and I didn't like the layout. If I do choose Meadows next year, I hope to go with SEATS. The lawn just doesn't do it for me; way too much indifference from the crowd and generally too much intoxication.

good show....no spoon or dreaming tree but it was nice to hear recently on the encore with the old school outro....the venue was good and bad. AMAZING Lawn but too quiet of a sound board. It did not seem to be as loud as the saratoga shows or other previous shows.

This was my first dave concert so as you can imagine i was blown away!! we had really good seats and could actually walk to where the antsmarching people were recording the concert! I could see dave and i really think he could see me because before he played if i had it all he looked at me (m or i at least i think he did and so did the people behind me) and then after the song ended i was like two step!!! ( really loud) and then he played it!! which was soo awsome. I loved the ncore and openign up with everyday was unreal w/ the audience singing and stuff it was just soo good.

Great show...Hell, anytime Dave and the band show up its great. The setlist was ok, but the STTS>ASTB>WAREHOUSE run was just amazing. Nice jam in JT and a super STONE. The place went wild at TWO STEP, after dealing with 3 so-so songs before it. But RECENTLY...Now that was a surprise.

Very good show, if a little all over the place. Highlights include the SMTS>ASTB>Warehouse run; Jimi Thing; Stone; IIHIA; the Two Step closer (which is not noted on the setlist here); and the Recently encore (replete w/ Pretty Girl & Take Me To The River -- no Norwegian Wood, though). Crowd was OK, sound was pretty good where we were. Stefan played a great intro to Grace Is Gone, which included Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay.

Not a big fan of this show at all. Extremely short (for reasons I'm still not aware of...i'm not sure if they went over their time limit last time or broke curfew, but both Meadows shows were just barely over 2 hours). Their "intense Two Step" is horrid.

although the set was a bit everyday heavy (3 in a row at end of show?) the setlist wasnt too bad, got a few first timers in there. The show was phenomenal. I was at both shows and the whole weekend was amazing. The energy from the band electrified the whole crowd. Recently was just way cool and SMTS --> ASTB into Warehouse made my day!!!! The best was seeing Dave in the tour bus twice and the second time he was drinking a glass of wine and he toasted me and my friends!!!
