amazing show, the setlist may have been relativly similar to the nights before, but the band was on in all aspects of the music.

the very top of the United Center is not the place to see DMB. sound was horrible and it was about 150 degrees up there. The show was pretty good, would've loved some better place to watch it from.

Pretty cool show, there were times when I thought the Bnad might not have really been into it, and then they would turn around and look they were having an awesome time, Dave and Carter giving high fives after several songs....Probably the highlight to me was the crowd started to sing #36 during everyday, so Dave and the band added that to the song.

good show, setlist pretty standard compared to rest of winter tour, solid bartender, nancies & warehouse, everyday(#36) w/ the help of the crowd was the highlight of the night

This show was awesome. The United Center crowd singing #36 during the Everyday intro was definitely a highlight. Great set list (in my opinion) and great energy from both the crowd and the band.

I narrowly missed out on my ticket to the LIVE IN CHICAGO show in 1998. So I jumped at the chance to see them at the UC, the home of my Blackhawks. Dave was belting out some serious screams in the climax of Bartender around this time, and this was no exception. Captain might have been my favorite song that night though. One of my all time favorite shows.

Loved Bartender and Loving Wings... really enjoyed hearing those songs. I brought my younger sister this time to the concert... and she really enjoyed it, in fact she had a blast and loves their music... this year we decided that this would be something that we would attend together whenever DMB comes around. Pretty high up in the 300's, the sound was great and the screens were helpful...glad that they were working. Had a wonderful time and cannot wait till next year!

What an unbelievable show. I thought maybe I was in for some disappointment when they broke out WTWE. But by the time they hit Grey Street they were off the hook. I've heard Nancies plenty before but tonight it was just PHENOMENAL!!! The show could have ended there but the energy kept going with Warehouse, Bartender, Pig, and The Stone. Although I was hoping for some 41 and Billies, the set list was packed with enough. I know people give them hell for all the BS they play and the mellowness, but when they include these jams to mix it up, I think it's great. Watchtower was, of course, the jam of the night. I'm glad I heard Christmas Song. That's such a simple but great song. And I think enough has been said about the Everyday (#36) finale. The crowd spun in the 36 chorus and the band just went with it. It was great to hear the band going with Everyday and the crowd backing him up with 36. This one quite possibly is number 1. !!!

The band played incredibly well. They were amazing. I was though, disappointed with the setlist. I was hoping for a more diverse setlist, espcially one without all the repeats from the night before. Other than that, they jams were incredible and a good show overall.

When the world ends isn't a great opener but it was awesome to hear Captain live. The crowd really started to get into it during Dancing Nancies, whichI finally got to hear. It was an awesome set list overall. You can usually tell the people that only know the songs from the radios as they start talking when Dave plays other songs.

10th show. I'm always worried going to a show after Alpine, but this was a lot of fun. (#36)Everyday was a spectacular closer. I could hear Pig every show.

This was a slight dissapointment for my first road trip show, most likely due to our bad seats. We still enjoyed it as much as we could and I really enjoyed hearing Pig.

Great show by far. Even though our seats were behind the stage, we were still 10 rows from the stage. The best part was seeing Carter drumming away during Everyday and having his stick break and still playing the song with it broke. Afterwords he threw it into the crowd.

I almost didn't get to go to this show because some scalpers bought up like half the show online and I couldn't get tickets. How do those fudgepackers sleep at night? But once again 'Ants' user pj4real29 was able to conjure up some tickets and we were on our way. We also brought along for the ride pj's then (past tense thank god) girlfriend cp and her rowdy potsmoking friend manhands. so we ate at a cute place down the road from the united center and headed into the show. It really wasn't the best show. we did get to hear "dancing nancies" and "captain" so it wasn't a total bust. good experience. i don't know how i'll ever repay pj, maybe someday i'll give him my virginity.

Section 120, Row 10, Seat 4.....Again in Chicago, this time at the phenomenally huge United Center. Again, I recorded the show. Again with the Girlfriend, again a wonderful show, and this time from the closest I've been to the stage. The band walked underneath us to get on and off stage. It was very cool. This was late in the winter tour, and right in the middle of all the craziness in Iraq. This was one of my Girlfriend's favorite shows because she loves Captain, which was 2nd on the list, and Grey Street, and her favorite song, as well as one of mine, The Christmas song was first in the encore. She wept during the Christmas Song. There was one point in either Nancies or Pig that Boyd got so excited he lost his cowboy hat from the extreme jamming. The setlist was all love, and very fun. Great versions of Stone, and Watchtower towards the end. Dave took his first step toward making a stance against the war in his introduction of The Christmas Song, saying.....
"i hope you all have a peaceful christmas, and a peaceful new year....i don't wanna dwell on things, so I don't wanna waste your time, but, just to say that, uh, that, it amazes me that, uh, that in a world that has seen so much war, and so much pain through war, that somehow we can still get ourselves twisted up....and think about going back to war....I just wanna say, I wanna, I don't wanna step out...but, I just wanna say one thing, that...Peace, is the greatest thing in the world....so, before we do anything else, we should, we should hope for peace...this is a song, I hope it's an okay song, it's a song I wrote about a guy, who above all else, believed in peace....." To tell you the truth, I cried a little bit myself.

now, i will always support DMB and always think that their live shows are amazing. however, i felt let down with tonights show. granted i didnt get there until nancies b/c i was performing "Gravedigger" at my school, but the songs ive missed ive heard way too many times before so no big loss. DMB just seemed off tonight and not really happy to be there. the highlights were definitely bartender and stone. however, the crowd was weak. after fool to think, they were dead. people were even sitting during bartender. i left during WAYG to take apiss....they play this song way too much...crash of the new millenium...every night. watchtower was good as always, but not as good as the past. the intro was 5 minutes long. between that and the 10 minute encore, they could have at least played one more song. the encore was weak too. i saw dave and carter come out, so i was hoping for halloween, but christmas song will do. great song,.....crowd was real quiet. but everyday is a weak ending. and the same encore as atlanta. the crowd was poor tonight, and wouldnt even sing hani hani during the intro, only the outro once dave sang it.
maybe it was the fact ive seen DMB 5 times this year (alpines, allstates, and tweeter....all were better than this one), or maybe the fact that i was expecting a lot out of tonight b/c of the hype (41, YNK, last stop, halloween), but it was a let down. pretty similar set for the winter. sure they dont have time to practice every song from the summer, but im sure they didnt all forget how to play them. i dont know. just was expecting more rare stuff i guess. but im sure MSG2 will rock. really hope to hear last stop there.

What a nice way to kick off the Holiday Season! Great show... great set list in my opinion... really liked hearing "Christmas Song" wished they would of played all of "Loving Wings" but maybe sometime. Captain was great and Bartender... well what can I say about that... it was awsome... really got into "Everyday" the crowd was really full of energy... great time... great concert!

WOW! Best seats ever probably. I was behind the stage which some people would think is a bummer but at the same time, we got to see the band enter exit the stage. Awesome awesome show! I'll admit Dave didn't seem to have the energy that night (not many jigs danced) but the boys were definitely ON. The setlist was good. Watchtower and Pig were the songs I wanted to hear, and I heard 'em. Great audience participation on Everyday (#36), we started singing before he did, and at the end he was doing our back up. "Honey, honey...come and dance with me..."

This show was not great, to be honest. It was the first for my sister, which was somewhat unfortunate. Pig, Grace, and the encore (Christmas Song (Dave and Carter) and Everyday) were the highlights. There was a definite lack of jam and energy in the band this evening.

My second dave show was absolutely incredible also. Even though we had almost the worst possible seats you could get, we all still had a great time! Highlights of the evening for me was the opening with WTWE and the beautiful, mellow, encore with Christmas Song leading into Everyday! When you are in an arena with 30,000 people and they all are singing along with dave, its a beautiful thing. A few songs I could have done without were captain, and grace. I'm sorry, but those two songs weighed the show down too early on. Other than that, It was an amazing show!

We road tripped with Dani. It was fun. Our hotel room was AMAZING. It had a living room!! Anyways, I met Cole, Jen and Jig, and that was sweet too. They were fun. We saw Carter get on the bus and Dave waved to me and a couple other people from the bus. They were staying just down the street. We had Chicago deep dish and the waitress was a mega bitch, mostly to Danielle. The pizza sucked anyways. Passes were there that night but only three and there were 6 of us. Joe and I decided since everyone hadbeen beackstage once but only we had met Dave that we would sit this one out... Dave didn't come out that night. We had Boyd tickets anyway. The setlist wasn't anything to swoon over and hey made a lot of mistakes. It was still better than most nights of my life.

This was the closest I have ever sat at any of my 14 DMB shows... I was front row dead center behind the stage.... my first behind the stage experience. For that reason I think that the show was better than it actually was. Besides the Pig-->Warehouse (which was amazing) and The Stone, I felt the setlist was pretty weak. The crowd was into it where I sat.. Carter, Boyd and Butch were really into it, but Dave seemed maybe a little sluggish... I don't know. I had high expectations for Halloween, Last Stop, 40, 41... but they can't play them all I guess. The OSW Intro was great! I guess the more I think about it, the better show it becomes. I was just hoping that Dave would play just a little bit to the back of the stage... he did walk back there during one of Carters/Boyds solos, and looked up at us, but never played. I did say Carters name and he turned around... he was only 10 feet or so away from us.. that was pretty cool. All in all a great show.. great city (House of Blues.... where were all the WH'ers)great band.
