Nothing like Tripping Billies! Grey Street and 41 round things out nicely. Very energetic crowd, too.

One of several DMB concerts I've seen in the rain. When he sings of rain in his lyrics the crowd goes nuts.
An awesome show. #41 is always a favorite

real quick....Great show! Started off real strong w/ Grey Street and Captain....solid #41 was next, I think Roi left his flute at home this tour or something, cuz I certainly haven't seen it...next came the highlight of the night....the triumphant return of PROUDEST MONKEY!!! the boys then went right into Satellite, making this one a classic for me....DDTW was also great. They were on fire till I Did It reared it's ugly head and the energy died...it stayed dead thru Space Between.....Big Eyed Fish, Bartender and Kit Kat Jam were fantastic and Jimi Thing was one of the best versions I've seen. Solid Billies in the encore left everyone smiling...Great show!

The setlist rocked, the band's performance rocked, and as far as that goes I was not disappointed in the least. If the shows keep getting better (Foxboro 06.16.01 - Fleet 04.08 - Tweeter 07.23) then I might just have to get a second job to pay for my DMB addiction. Awesome show.

Good show overall. Weather could have cooperated a little more. Poured nonstop throughout. Full-band Captain was a first for me and a good one at that. I don't think you can ever hear a bad #41. This one didn't disappoint. Proudest Monkey was SUCH a surprise, the real fans exploded when he broke out. BEF into Bartender is such a smooth transition it's unreal. It's like those songs were made to be played back to back. He got the "bad" songs out of the way back to back in IDI and TSB. I was extremely excited to hear lyrics to KKJ seeing that the CD was realesed a week earlier without them. I really, really like the lyrics. Jimi Thing was a great jam session for Boyd and Dave. What You Are was truly amazing as it always is. I always question Billies as a closer, but it didn't disappoint. One other note, he didn't tease Cry Freedom once, but twice!!!!

Two words...PROUDEST MONKEY!!! I cannot beleive I finally heard this song performed. That alone made standing in the rain for two hours before the show, and the hour getting out of the parking lot worth it.
But there was more. The "Cry Freedom" teases (the one in the encore is the one that made me lose my sh*t), the jams, the "Loving Wings..."
...and to think I almost missed this show.

Awesome show! It was a bit rainy, but when Dave walked on, the rain tapered off. Grey Street opener was great. The show relied pretty heavy on material from Busted Stuff, but nonetheless, it was a great show. It was a much smaller setting for the band than we're used to, but the crowd was absolutely through the roof. I heard some negative comments about fans in the pavilion, but the outside seating crowd was excellent. Jimi Thing was great to hear, as well as my first listen of Captain. Billies was a killer encore as well. Definitely a show worth downloading!

Dave Matthews Band impresses veteran fans and newcomes alike, with this smooth and grooving show. Starts off with a very powerful performance of Grey Street, my all-time favorite song. #41 was a real crowd pleaser and fans quickly sang along with Dave's Everyday outro. The Summer 2002 debut of Proudest Monkey complemented the relaxed atmosphere of tonight's performance. Don't Drink The Water actually caught my attention tonight. It's not really a favorite song of mine but I really enjoied Dave's and Boyd's energy on this piece. After Massachusetts first saw the live debut of You Never Know, the song is back around again tonight, this time more recognized because of it's release on Busted Stuff. After listening to the B.S. track, I really appriciated being able to hear it again live. Big Eyed Fish was well done and it's cut straight into Bartender was perfect. I Did It and The Space Between were well done songs for the Everyday fans. Kit Kat Jam with the lyrics was a real treat for all of us that missed them on Busted Stuff. Jimi Thing and Digging a Ditch again points to an overall smooth theme in the setlist, with lots of slow and mellow but jam-packed songs with faster more powerful songs placed in between. When the World Ends featured lovely background graphics featured by Digital Juice. What You Are proved to be a powerful song to stop with. Fans were in for another treat when Dave walked out with Loving Wings. Still pretty rough, I enjoied seeing the individual members contribute to the song right before our eyes. Where are you Going seemed out of place in the encore, I would have left it in the regular set. Tripping Billies turned out to be a very well done closer, as Dave, Boyd, and Carter poured everything they had into the performance.

Rain made this show great, I ended up dancing barefoot to Kit Kat Jam up in the rain. Although I did have covered seats, two friends of mine didn't, so I spent the show with them. This was the first show I snuck my digital camera in, so I have pictures :)

This was my first dMb show, so I was pleasantly surprised by it. Maybe it was all the stuff in the air, but the show was awesome. A good time was had by all. The slight on and off rain just drove you nuts waiting for Stay or JTR to be played, but the encore was insane and the whole show just left you soooo happy. Great Show. Looking forward to soooo many more!! I'm going to see Dave and Tim play at the Ryan Center and hopefully see 2 or 3 of the whole band this summer in series 4. I am beyond excited.

Wow what a show. I mean, if you're a fan of Busted or Lillywhite Sessions(which I am fortunately) then you're a happy camper with this show. My life's dream was to hear Captain live. Wow that was amazing. You Never Know of course was up there with one of those"I can't believe what I'm hearing" kind of moments. I wish Dave had mixed in a few more of his earlier tunes but what are you gonna do. It was fab. Another happy moment was Digging a Ditch, superb. Jimi Thing of course rocked too and put a big "yay, I love this tune" smile on my face. The place was arocking when I Did It took the stage, Rock On! Honestly, if I could do this show over again, I'd like it much better. Only because I want to relive it and take it all in, instead of stand there in shock! I'd give anything to hear those tunes again in the future though. I feel honored to have been at a Proudest Monkey show though I'll say, that was unexpected. Where have you been hiding? Billies crushed closing out the set. Super show.
