Remember thinking that Boyd was getting a little too groovy for his own good.
I think this was shortly before or shortly after the release of UTAD. I remember being bummed that the secret was out. Barricades kept the crowd 10 feet from the stage, and the band was seemingly going to cater to the preppy frat crowd - not that they hadn't before, but I was hoping they would retain a little more authenticity a la Widespread - 2 sets - always a different set.
This show was further confirmation that that was not going to happen.
Plus it was just plain hot.
