A very fun show. Amazing version of Seek Up to begin. I will never forget Dave coming on stage while wearing a tux. A couple of songs in, he says something to the effect of "goddamn, it's hot in here" and then proceeds to shed the tie and jacket. Went to this show w/ my buds Beaman and Sein.

This was a fantastic way to ring in 1997! The second set with the all of the Flecktones was worth the price of admission alone. This is certainly worth the listen if you haven't done so already!

just look at the setlist. at midnight they dropped balloons down on the crowd. and i actually remember it. I was 16 and it was my first show!!!

This is sad. My husband says we had a blast at this show and I have absolutely no memory of it...must've really had a blast.

I was there...awesome they came out in tuxes and had cigars. They had Monk I think, flying up into the stands on wires....people were getting squeezed on the floor at first as it was general admission.

This was one of the best DMB shows I have ever seen, out of about 35. It was a general admission show. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones played almost the entire second set. At midnight ballons fell from the ceiling and as people were looking up we rushed closer to the stage. In the process I lost my hat, however, found it after the show on the floor and picked up the stomped poor hat!!!

Dave came out in a tux & went right into Seek Up.
The energy of this show was off the hook.
Bela Fleck & the Flecktones on stage for the second half of the show took it to another level!

This show was off the charts. Bells Fleck and the Fleck tones was a great addition to Dave and the boys. Being New Year's the show and crowd were all f@#&ed up! What a way to bring in a new year!

This was the second time I went to a New Year's show. We got there late, not so minor pet emergency, and missed the first few dmb songs but all of bela's set. The second set was really strong and I loved Typical Situations with the little jam in the middle. Great stuff. Though I missed the opening, it was nice to see a little bela in the mix also!

i can not believe this show was never reviewed here...wow...it's so easy. This show is maybe the best show DMB has performed...the boys were awesome And bela and the tones just made it even better...holy christ man!!! this needs to be released commercially!!! the copies out now just don't do it justice at all...anywho...Peace and love everyone... By far the best show of my long touring "career." Hours and hours in the cold parking lot before the show. A bunch of cool cool people we had seen at previous shows on our mini-tour. A girl making a necklace for Dave. A cool cat playing the guitar and singing Dave and Counting Crow songs. The necklace girl making a comment that Adam Duritz's voice on A Long December sounds like Kermit the Frog swimming. Amazing bonding with family and new friends. Front row center at the show--getting crushed into the rail by people in the audience. At one point Dave makes eye contact with me and me and then looks at the crowd and says "Stop pushin' y'all." And then there was finale. At the stroke of midnight the boys come back on stage in full tuxes and start jamming Tripping Billies while balloons fall from the ceiling. I don't think that experience can be topped.
