I actually worked at Woodstock and had a backstage pass for DMB. One hot mutha of a day, 100 degrees I think. I finally met Dave, Boyd and Carter after their soundcheck (which I saw), what else needs to be said? They took pix with me and spent a couple minutes shooting the crap, I could now die in peace. Lifelong dream realized! Of course, holy hell broke out long after DMB played. But for me it was certainly my memorable DMB concert.

Hot... damn hot. Although this was the first time I really saw dmb, I'm not so sure it technically counts as an "attended" show as I was working in "Artist Transportation" at the time and viewed the show from backstage. But, I'm gonna add it anyway. I remember how incredibly tight their performance was from beginning to end-- especially despite how extremely hot it was and the fact that the band was smack-dab in the sun. The majority of the crowd out front were definately fans and actually outnumbered the other idiots waiting for lame bizkit.

I worked my way up to the front during the Counting Crows' set right before. I mean, I had to see DMB up close--they're the entire reason I'd bought tickets to Woodstock '99. The weekend wasn't so bad as it looked on TV, but let the Stepford clones in the suburbs think what they will. Awesome weekend, great (but short) set.

This was the 1st DMB performance I had seen and the best part about it was it was on my 16th birthday too! An older friend of mine turned me on to DMB almost 2 years prior when he gave me a cassette tape of Under The Table And Dreaming needless to say I was hooked from the first song. It was HOT AS HELL well over 100 like the rest of the days. The set list was great and the crowd was all jamming together, all 200,000+ of us! It was and always will be one of the best days/weekend of my life!!!

Sick Sick show... Just look at all the bang in the setlist for how long he played. Awesome...only too bad the crowd kinda sucked, not like a Dave Crowd at all. Oh well

This was a great setlist from what i recall, and i do remember two step being incredible. Dave was pretty messed up i think, mostly talking jibberish all the way thru the show, and at one point he said 'look, up in the sky... its a big JOHNSON.' referring to the blimp that was flying overhead. what a great time!

It was Woodstock! What more can I say. My favorite memory was when he was playing Ants and the line "people in every direction" and I was just looking around at the crowd. All there different people from all these different places...just crazy.

I was soooo pumped to get to see Dave at Woodstock. But, by the time he got on stage I was exhausted. I had stood up for about 15 straight hours on Friday, and then on Saturday it was miserbly hot for a 2nd straight day. I had seen online accounts that indicaed that Dave was alotted a 2 hour slot. So, I was pretty upset when it turned out to be more like an hour and fifteen minutes. The set was pretty good, but I guess I let my exhaustion and the shortness of the set get the best of me because I was pretty disappointed when it was over. In hindsight, the set was great, and it's an amazing story that I get to live with forever.

Largest fan draw of 3 day Woodstock 99, with approx 500,000 viewing the concert. 104 degrees on the tarmac, and people were throwing their empty water bottles onto the stage, believed to annoy the band and cut their set short.

Show was absolutely off the hook. I remember they came out on stage and it took 5 minutes or more for them to break into #41. Everyone was going nuts waiting. The crowd was at least 120,000 strong. DMB was probably the key headliner of that entire music fest, or at least appealed to the largest audience. Everyone sang #41, and all the rest. I was about four rows back from LeRoi, it had taken me an hour and a half to get there all during the Counting Crows' set. I hoisted a girl I didn't know unto my shoulders during Two Step and she promptly submitted her boobs for viewing, (as many girls were.) It was about 100 degrees the entire time DMB was playing and the crowd was thicker then anything I've ever seen. You'd jump into the air and get stuck. It's the only DMB show I've ever seen people crowd surf at. It was great, very different from other DMB shows cause it was Woodstock man.

Woodstock wasn't about the music and it's sad our generation couldn't experience a festival like the one in the 60's. But this was my first time seeing dave and it was good. I got to see him in concert at Finfer Lakes PAC in NY 4 days later, and i was hooked.
