More news on the Fenway shows on July 7th and 8th has come way of the Boston Herald today. Sheryl Crow looks to join the Dave Matthews Band as the opener to the two in-the-balance shows. The show could be Crow's return to performing following breast cancer surgery where she had to cancel her recent tour. Not much new information has been made available. Fenway Management previously asked City Hall to approve ballpark concerts on July 7th and 8th. The city, as typical procedure, takes the request under advisement for 30 days before approval. This, along with many other issues that must be addressed (security, field care, park-readiness), is the reason behind why the concert has remained unconfirmed, though confirmation could come at any point. Don't wonder too far.
