Bonnaroo NE will see Dave and Tim
Posted by Joe Maliszeski in Tour News at 11:30am on Monday, Apr 28th, 2003Today came the announcement of the initial artist line-up for the 1st Annual Bonnaroo NE Music Festival at Enterprise Park at Calverton in Riverhead, New York, a three-day camping-and-music festival with numerous performances from different artists on many stages. The music festival will kickoff Friday, August 8 and end Sunday, August 10. Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds are scheduled to perform Saturday, August 9. This, by far, will be the largest audience the two will have played for to date, a change from the smaller and more intimate settings.
Currently there are 22 confirmed acts and are “anticipating several major additions to the line up to be announced shortly”. The Dave Matthews Band has been widely rumored to be one of the major additions. Two of the festival dates occur during the band’s two-week break during this summer’s tour, immediately following the Gorge Amphitheatre Shows (8/7-8). Stay tuned to am.org for further updates regarding possible additions. Tickets will go on sale for the event on the festivals web page on Wednesday May 7, 2003 at 9am Eastern Time.
