Re: NBA 2011/2012 Season

They should just have LeBron and Kobe pick teams. Think about how awesome that would be.

Not at all. I never said no one could enjoy the game. What I AM saying is that if you think you watched a competition last night, you didn't.

Here you go...the All Star game is a slight hair above Monday Night Raw. It may be entertaining at times, but it's not a real sport/competition.

Players picking teams was a suggestion in the article about how boring the all star game is. It'd be interesting, for sure.

Again, your criticism has nothing to do with the fact that it is a showcase for the best talent in the NBA. It is an exhibition game, but in general the 4th quarter turns out to be pretty competitive.

I'm also pretty sure the fact that there is a dunk contest has no bearing on their being a lot of dunks in the game.

I watched an event where two teams played head to head and there was a winner based on a score where one team had more points than the other. And that was not preselected ahead of time.

And you didn't watch anything at all so......

I'm just saying that if the AS game was going to be a dunk show, then why have the dunk contest? Seems redundant.

Because no one who people want to see dunk was actually in the dunk contest.

Come on Roger, even a non-basketball fan like yourself must know the difference between a dunk contest and in game dunking.

So he's the Joe Johnson of Trolls? Makes the All Star roster but doesn't really deserve it?

How many regular season gams go over 140 points by both teams?

Yeah, you're still not grasping it.

We're saying the last few minutes was competitive. Which, had you watched, you'd know it was. Not spinning that like the whole game was.

Usually you and I get along just fine but you're just being dumb today dude. I'm not sure why. You don't really care about the NBA so you just must be trolling.
