Share the Love

It has been suggested that someone make a LOVE sign (in memory of Matt), bring it to a show and then ship it to someone else who will be attending the next show

It could be made on a pillowcase to make it easier to ship....


We can sign up in this thread for who will be at what show and would like to bring the sign, etc

Each person who receives it and brings it to a show can then sign their name and the date/place of the show

i'll be going to Chula Vista but will not be sitting close to the stage at all so i'm probably not the best candidate for this show. but if no one else going to CV wants to do it, i'll gladly hold the sign

I will be at Cuse next Tuesday... and I have some artistic ability...
If no one can make it for Deer Creek and have it overnighted, then I can make it for Cuse and give it to another Ant to bring to Bethel

So I had posted in the previous thread, that this would a) awesome, and b) for shipping purposes and travel, if we made the sign on a pillowcase or cloth it'd last longer and be easier to ship. I am going to bristow (going to be in the 2nd row!) i can either have a sign thats made it to a few shows shipped to me or i can make the initial one and ship to someone after the bristow show or meet up with them after the show.

let me know soon so i can make the sign or get someone my contact info to get the sign.

I can definitely make it for Cuse and give it to someone for Bethel the next day.. I'll post in the Bethel thread and see if any of them are going to VA Beach.. and they could then give it to one of my friends going to Bristow to give to you.. etc

Edit: in the past, I've made mine on a piece of white sheet that I cut up.. but then we wouldn't be able to sign the back because it would bleed through if a marker was used
So I could either go get a pillow case... or do something a little different.. maybe a T Shirt or something different, idk.. just a suggestion

I work as a director for an After-School program and we recently made flags from while pillowcases that we got at Target for 4 bucks with regular paint and it didn't bleed through to the back of the pillow case so people could sign the back and it'd be big enough to hold a lot of signatures. just fyi.

it's a great idea, similar to what WSU alumni do for College Football saturday on ESPN. They send the Cougar flag to an alumni that will be at the game of the week and they fly it at every college game day broadcast, something like 72 weeks in a row now. It can be done. Great idea.

Just saw that sticky and read all about it. I would love to help out although I am not that close. Maybe I could walk up and explain to the ushers whats goin on so the band could see it. I wish I knew the person he sounded great. I hate to ask but what happened to him? Let me know what I can do.

Hell yeah. It's so awesome to see the Coug flag at games like Texas-Oklahoma... People are probably just like wtf?


But as far as the Love sign goes, I guess I could sign up for N3 of the Gorge. I'll be in row 8... I'm sure there is someone on here that will be closer though.
