Im happy to use shorten.exe in the command line (along with shntool.exe). its too bad it doesnt run MD5s though. Maybe theres a program that does.

I didn't know other programs did
I've rarely felt the need for md5s. Not trading audio has its perks

I'm using SP1 and haven't had any problems. Service Pack 2 fucked up the 3 comps I tried to put it on. Had to go into DOS and manually remove it.

Re: shn converter

I am also running Mkw just fine with XP and SP2.

Quick question though. Has anyone ever felt the need to update their torrent software? I'm using BT 0.3.7 wondering if there is a need to update.

They verify that the files weren't corrupted and there was no quality loss during your download.

Re: shn converter

I am running Windows XP Home SP2 with plenty of RAM and gigs, and I am having trouble downloading the mkwSFX software.

The error message when I try to install the mkwSFX setup software says:

16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. The other option is to click 'ignore'

The little window which says that the setup files have been copied into my TEMP folder and click ok to remove these files after setup completes comes up as well, but the setup program never begins whether I click to 'ignore' the error message or if I do nothing.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
