I wouldn't know, I stay out of the Yankees thread, not much of a reason to spend time in there

Yeah I hate having to go into a all these teams threads on a dmb site to get all my sports info. What they should do is invent some sort of chart. A chart that keeps track of win and losses and puts the teams in order by win percentage. They could even put a column in that chart showing how many straight a team has won or loss. Just brain storming here.

Sorry, I was completely under the impression based off the conversation in this thread last week that I had to watch a baseball game live to know anything about it

I'll check out these charts though? Link

Miley would still be shit on the Sox. I'd take the potential success of Smith and Elias over a flyball pitcher in the AL East with some of the most hitter-friendly parks.

Definitely impressive as hell for the kid but he has a long way to go to get within reach of the record. Wonder if the streak will effect his OBP going FWD tthough, he may swing at bad pitches just to try and extend the streak, especially in the later innings if he is hitless. Regardless, if he gets to 45 and beat Rose for the 2nd highest hit streak then I will be following more closely. Also, regarding walks - would be funny (and dirty pool) is a team just walked him intentionally every time he comes to the plate simply to ruin the streak.

Not sure he was really robbed, yeah a fan touched it but that still would have been a tough one to leg out and to be perfectly honest I am not sure I want my 40 year old slugger even trying for a triple due to the risk of injury or even him just lain getting thrown out with a nice toss.

I'm just looking at today/this season.

pitching is a concern for this team, they don't have much in the minors if one of these pitchers go down. We made a trade one guy is done for the season and the other is sucking in AAA. Miley is eating up innings and the team he pitches for won the last 6 games (i think) that he started.

Won't know the outcome of that trade for a couple years now. If he comes back and pitches like Carson smith for 2018-2020, then I would say the sox probably got the better end of that deal.

Felger putting Sox at #1 at the top of his AL power ranking and Mazz having them at 4 and J-Stew having them at 6 is driving him crazy, it is great.

2018-2020 is fine, but where will the team be during those year? they don't have much for pitching in the minors. Oritz won't be here, probably not Pedroia, a good chuck of the bullpen.

    Safeco:
    LF Line - 331'
    Left Center - 378'
    Deepest Point - 405'
    Straightaway Center - 401'
    Right Center - 381'
    RF Line - 326'

    Fenway:
    Left Field: 310'
    Left-Center Field: 379'
    Center Field: 390'
    Deep Center Field: 420'
    Deep Right Field: 380'
    Right Field: 302'

    Wade Miley's spray chart:
    http://www.fangraphs.com/spraycharts...s1=ALL&vs2=ALL

Small sample size this season, but you can see he gives up a lot of hits down the left field line (Safeco has a longer one), and that at least a few balls this season that went as doubles or outs would have been homers last season.

Because he's 5-2 this season for the Mariners doesn't mean he'd be 5-2 with the Sox this season
