They only looked shitty because Bulls were that much better than everyone else.

Lol at prime supersonics being shitty. Also Magic were looked at as the inevitable next big thing til Jordan came back. Heat back then very good too in the following two years. Detlefff Schrempf may be a punchline today, bit those Pacer teams were good as well. And I won't touch the Knicks. Now there's an overrated team that didn't live up to expectations.

Jordan couldn't help it that no team could play on his level.

    Scottie
    Kukoc
    Rodman

    lol.

And if you want to fault them for not having a center, there were Bigs for days in the 90s that still couldn't overcome the Bulls team defense.

Mavs are using 2.7 million exception to sign Jameer Nelson. GREAT signing at the position we needed to fill the most.

Starting 5 shaping up to look like:

    Jameer Nelson/Felton
    Monta Ellis
    Chandler Parsons
    Dirk
    Tyson Chandler

Chicago fans are excuse machines. Never seen a fan base make more excuses for anything. Qb not good? No problem! Blame it on the oline, the wind, the coach.

Also it wasn't just Jordan who left, Pippen left, Rodman left, Phil Jax left and they hired a coach with almost no experience.

(not saying they were or weren't the best team ever, just saying it wasn't just Jordan that left and changed).

pretty easy to say when your qb has always had an elite oline that keeps him from getting hit and when your coach cares so much about winning that he will cheat to do it and isnt retard lovie smith

They will even make excuses about other teams. It's quite comical.

If we're going to talk football in the basketball thread, can we please discuss teams that have actually won the Super Bowl in the past decade?

Couldn't respond earlier bc of errors.

Was this response meant for gocubs?

I was referring to Bo's assertion that the Jordan bulls were the most overrated team in sports and just happened to beat up on shitty teams.

So the convo was specifically only on Jordan bulls. No idea how life after Jordan would affect whether Jordan bulls were overrated or not...unless you honestly believe a completely blown up team with John Starks on board invalidates what they did in years prior under a different regime.

MVFelton really is clogging up Dallas' lineup. No pun intended.
Does acquiring all these PGs push Gal Mekel to backup SG? Too small and mainly a defender from what I've gathered about him.
Never want to rely on Jameer running the show ever, but the way Dallas is structured now and his price tag too, it could be worse. Would definitely be fine with him as the backup PG on that team.

The middle bulk of the Mavericks' roster with Ellis, Parsons, Aminu, and Dirk is so strong.
Don't care for Jae Crowder and Brandan Wright,
so some more frontcourt help would be nice even though there's not a lot of talent left out there as well as money to spend too.
