Yes, I am. With law school comes the people who were raised by lawyers, and have been sheltered their whole life, and don't know any better. But that's not an excuse as far as I'm concerned. I.e., "I don't go to chain restaurants."
As far as the driving thing, I do usually drive, but I like for people to at least offer it up first. Especially when we are going to be drinking/driving in bad weather. I tend to drive under those conditions, but at least make an offer to drive. I'll probably turn you down, but at least respectfully offer.
A pefect example: Group text chat.
A: Let's do something tonight. Lets go to [insert bar].
B: Sounds good.
Me: Sure. What time.
A: How's 10?
B and Me: Ok
And then silence until people realize I'm not volunteering to drive. Then the "how are we going to get there" texts start. Another friend of mine who drives as often as me, now simply says, "I'll meet you guys there."
