Re: Mexico: How many Repeats?

Turns out "zero" was the correct answer. 67 songs, no repeats.

One repeat. Wing It. A Tim song. The first night works best for me.

I saw that but didn't count the Tim solos, although you're right that was a repeat.

N3 Warehouse setlist says "Wing Nut." Is that a mistake?

And I'm very pleasantly surprised with 0 repeats & setlist variety this weekend. Good for Dave. Now I'm super excited for my summer shows.

Hard to believe no real repeats. Great news, though. Mexico weekend looked fantastic on paper, let alone being there

I am incredibly happy to be proven wrong. Zero repeats, well done, Dave. Maybe you do care after all.

Haha I'm right there with you. I can always find something to complain about. Dammit where's JTR, Spoon, Cry Freedom, Last Stop...this is an outrage.

Seriously though, solid sets all weekend. I expect this summer to be a lot of fun. More bust outs and old covers--I think we'll see something like Me & Julio come back.

This Summer is gonna be good for Dave..Easier to try different tunes when it's just Tim and will ultimately help the band have new directions in 2018.

Also--I'm not sure if this is a full-proof theory, but it makes sense to me...These new tunes work really well in the D&T setting. I think that's the mark of good songs. A lot of BW & AFTW tunes don't translate when stripped down. Just something I've noticed that has me optimistic for LP9

I also am very happy to see no repeats. I knew it could be done, and looking at it as only 22 songs a night minus n3 with double encore, it certainly made it more do-able. Very excited for my Chicago shows!

    Re: Mexico: How many Repeats?

With only playing 22 songs a night and not the usually 26-30 songs, it was much easier to not play repeats. But I love them trying out some of the typical "full band only" songs.
