It looked like another guitar was being prepped after the encore, but then house lights came up and it was abandoned. I wonder if they were game to come back, but so many people started leaving they bailed on it.

First D&T show for me. It seemed short. They aren't usually that short, right? The photo above -- 6-song encore seems long, no? Even for a double encore?

Maybe it just seemed shorter since Dave talked so much. Not used to that.

Dave and Tim don't always do double encores. Sometimes it's just one. Or sometimes it's longer with several songs like you have listed. Or that could be options for songs for them to pick from like they've done in the past. Hard to tell exactly. Not really sure Dave just said fuck it. I also read crowd dispersed pretty quick after the first encore.

I peaced out when the lights came on. I waited for about 30 seconds just to see if they would come back out, but the lights came on and everyone jetted to the exits.

Weird, why is Two Step and Ants in Drop D? That should be standard tuning or does this mean something completely different?

Weird, why is Two Step and Ants in Drop D? That should be standard tuning or does this mean something completely different?

Two Step is in D minor, Ants in D major (granny also in D, as well as Where Are You Going). Maybe Dave wants the low D for a change? I guess we'll hear on the tapes one way or another.

Tim is in Drop D for those songs. For most D songs. This most be Tim's setlist.

I could see Dave and Tim not wanting to do 3 hour shows anymore. I mean 22 songs is still a ton of material. Why push it an extra 5-8 songs just because. Maybe they weren't feeling a 5 song encore tonight, or it was just a 5 song encore set to choose from kind of like the Europe shows usually are.

I think the set looked pretty fucking good to be honest. I'd like to hear the tapes, but the variety in flow, the addition of the new material, and a bunch of good classics make it look pretty amazing.

Rapunzel was a nice surprise, but SL was more memorable in many ways. Loved getting Loving Wings and Cry Freedom last night.

Virginia in the Rain is a much better D&T song.

Pretty uneventful on the balcony except we got stuck behind 2 dudes fist pump hand dancing most if the night.

We got another setlist from Capshaw tonight. Interesting reaction from him on the set though. Last night he gave it to us at the start of E1. Tonight when we asked him during E1 he said to come ask him for it after the encore. I think he thought that there was going to be several more songs. After two step we asked him for it and he sort of jokingly said, are you sure you want it? There are several songs missing and Im worried you will be disappointed. He shrugged and gave it to us and said he still hoped we enjoyed the show. Super nice guy.

Hopefully your switching Recently and WAYG and I would agree that's a nice 5/6. But finishing the night with 3 straight songs that were played last night was pretty disappointing if you attended both.

I don't think it bodes too well for summer. You wouldn't pay to see multiple shows if this was the norm
