Still better than what good copies of Piper and Saurcerful go for. Also gives some hope that PULSE gets reissued

Those were already done back in 2011. Actually, I am not 100% positive on Meddle, but for sure they did Dark Side, WYWH, Animals, and The Wall.

i suppose, but the price point for the recent reissues was at those rates and was ridiculous. at least this time it *looks* like they're trying to make them have quality, but i guess we'll see. let's hope these are more like the phish vinyl reissues than the recent oasis ones, that'll make $50 far more palatable.

    CORRECT!

Your edit is the 2013 repressing that Geffen did using the ORG stampers which were done by Bernie Grundman from the original analogue stereo master.

Are you sure about Animals? I bought the remastered Animals on CD when it came out, I assumed they did the vinyl too at the same time.

Yeah they did all the albums on CD, plus the three Immersion sets which were also the three albums released on vinyl, plus WYWH on SACD.

I hope they do Animals right, I'll pick that up.

Backtracking a little bit, but when someone asks me to play them my best sounding record I almost always go to Phish - Junta (repress for RSD) and play "YEM". Pure. Bliss.

Amoeba was okay. It's really massive. Their prices are really odd. Some are just absurdly overpriced and others are really underpriced. They got some really great bootlegs if you're into that. The store doesn't seem to be in the greatest of areas so I'd make sure to go during the day. Lots of homeless hippies in that area.

more on the floyd reissues, superdeluxe has some int'l pre-orders up. looks like price will be around $25-$35 for 1lp/2lp. so that's good.

all have stickers with "remastered from the original analogue tapes..."

Question regarding SACD players that are actually DVD players. Is there a way to know? I am wondering about a JVC XV-N3 or Toshiba SD-3960. Thanks in advance!

Look up the manuals, they will specifically mention SACD if they can play SACD discs.
If you are looking at a player in person, it will have the SACD logo on it somewhere visible.

    Logo - http://logok.org/wp-content/uploads/...io-CD-logo.png

On this Pioneer you can see it just to the left of the digital display panel - http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/pio...-79AVi_300.jpg
(Underneath you can see the DVD AUDIO/VIDEO logo which means it plays advanced resolution content from DVD-Audio discs as well as regular DVD-Video discs. If a player doesn't say "AUDIO" under the DVD logo somewhere, it will not play DVD-Audio discs.

Thanks Doby, I didn't buy but I don't think they played them. This one says it plays advanced DVD audio,

    http://www.amazon.com/JVC-XV-N3-DVD-.../dp/B0082O29D2

It was $10 but I figured wait and get something I know for sure will work.

We were talking about tuners about a week ago, if I upgraded to a digital tuner would I notice much difference? I believe my speakers are reviving the maximum power they can from my tuner? Thanks in advance!

I thought it may have been an error and it may be but I sure as heck will take that album for less than $20 shipped.

Yeah, I'm sure it has to be a price error, but they generally will honor it for a pre-order for a single unit. If someone tried to order like 50 I'm sure that would get cancelled.

Not even sure if I like that new single they released, but for $15 shipped for a 2x LP I couldn't pass it up

I don't understand how the vinyl is cheaper than the cd. I preordered, hopefully they honor that price if it was a mistake.

Thank you to everyone who suggested record stores in San Francisco. Unfortunately I didn't have time to stop by any.

Big Whiskey was $13.99 on vinyl for quite a number of weeks back in 2009. It's $14.69 today and was $10.74 in November 2014 (all Amazon USA pricing, not marketplace)

It is a price glitch on Amazon for RHCP, but Amazon will be honoring it. The vinyl does not ship release week cheaper than the CD.

Anyone not getting the full 10 track Warehouse disc? I don't have a CD drive in my Mac anymore (replaced it with a 2nd HDD) and I don't really care for the CD, I just want the audio tracks. I'm willing to give it away to someone if you can rip the audio for me.

Awesome, thanks. PM me your address and I'll mail it to you when I get it. I don't really need the CD, just the audio tracks. I don't really keep up with physical media anymore.
