I know this might not be a popular opinion but I think Codes and Keys might be their best album. I've had it on a constant repeat these past few weeks.

    I really really like it. Still doesn't top Trans/Plans for me, but it's definitely 3rd. Actually put it on in my car a few days ago and it hasn't left the CD player yet.

    Codes & keys is great but it doesn't come close to trans. Not even in the same league IMO

    It has more good songs than narrow stairs, but the good songs on narrow stairs are miles better than anything on C&K

    DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE ANNOUNCES UNIQUE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR WITH THE MAGIK*MAGIK ORCHESTRA

    This morning Death Cab For Cutie announced a very special 2012 North American tour. This one-of-a-kind spring trek will see DCFC accompanied on stage by members of San Francisco’s celebrated Magik*Magik Orchestra. The dates begin April 10th in Denver, CO at Ellie Caulkins Opera House and finish up May 13th in Seattle, WA’s Paramount Theatre.

    Pre-sale will begin for the band’s official fan club, DCFC Union Local #1138, on Friday, January 20th at 12pm local venue time. This pre-sale includes regular pre-sale tickets and a limited number of DCFC t-shirt and poster bundles.

    When you go to purchase tickets you also have the option of adding a premium bundle to your order.

    DCFC Enhanced Merch Bundle includes:
    1 Premium Seat Ticket in the first 15 rows
    1 Limited Edition DCFC Event Poster
    1 DCFC Tour Shirt
    1 DCFC Union Local #1138 Fan Club Membership or Renewal (1 year, online only)

    TM is only showing $55 and $40 after fees for the Omaha show. Little more than I wanted to spend, but oh well I've never seen them before and always have wanted to.
